This is my second time getting a wax. I had an impromptu appointment with Sarah, and let’s just say I am not sure if I want to keep my membership. I would have given less stars but I really did have a great first experience. 8/23 :The first time I came I had Faith she was amazing walked me through everything and was very sweet. I ended up purchasing the membership and cleaning kit. 9/12: But fast forward to Sarah I went in and she was very curt. She asked me how I used the cleaning system and when I told her she said “no you’re doing it wrong” but I was doing what the bottle said to do. She was very knowledgeable in what she was saying about ingrown hairs and exfoliating. However, her tone and her frankness was unsettling. She proceeds to wax me and was very rough. She asked me to hold my own skin taunt and ripped wax from me she didn’t even ask me how the temperature of the wax was-very hot like to the point it burned me. We spoke about other hair removal methods and I explained my doctor had given me a referral for laser and she proceeded to tell me I couldn’t handle laser because I could barely handle being waxed right now. This was the most painful experience and I still have hairs Honestly I am happy that I am moving from the area and can cancel my membership because this just turned me off of waxing. Sarah did mention purchasing a membership elsewhere but if the next person is as rough as Sarah I will never go again.

Based off of reviews, I went to the waxologist Susan since my former waxologist was no longer there. This by far was the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a wax. I’m not sure if Susan had an off day but from introduction to finish, she was not pleasant, gentle, or patient. Susan was very rough and her technique was torturous. I am used to my waxologist applying pressure after removing the wax to reduce any pain or discomfort. Susan did not do that! When I asked if she could, she stated she would but proceeded without applying pressure. Not only was she rough, she left in the middle of my wax to get Faith to assist her. From that point on, Susan left mid wax and basically told Faith to handle the rest. Faith came to my rescue!! She was very polite and apologetic for what I had experienced. Faith was gentle and applied pressure to make the rest of my wax experience painless. As far as Susan, I unfortunately did not have the same experience as others had and I will NEVER go to her again!

Edit: In addition to the following: After the beach today I discovered a few patches that were missed. I called to make an appointment to get a touch up. They try to force you to come back to the same person. I had to stand my ground to see someone else. 1st time at this place. Kelly the wax technician can hardly speak English so I could not understand her nor her me. The wax was way too hot. Also the girl at the front desk did not tell me if there was any memberships. I also asked how much a follow up appointment or maintenance appointments are every 4 weeks and she didn't give me a price even though I asked. She just told me how much subsequent appointments are, nothing about any specials. The 1st impression starts at the front desk and that was a miss for me.

This place was recommended to me by a friend and I decided to give them a try. Honestly, I am glad that I did. The prices aren't too high but it's the service that absolutely got me. The love and care that I receive are amazing. My tech, Susan, is very knowledgeable and friendly, and the atmosphere is always pleasant. The spa is always clean, and the wait time is pretty quick. Susan, thank you for taking such good care of me. I will keep coming because of you.

From the start of my visit with checking in the receptionist made me feel welcomed and comfortable even before she explained my visit. Then my wax tech Hillary was awesome I felt a good vibe from her soon as she walked in and introduced herself. This was a first time for me she was very well educated on what she does and just made this a whole great experience for me. So I will definitely be a regular! Thanks so much!!

I wanted to write an updated review because I have been a client of this spa for a little over 3 years now and it STILL deserves a 5-star rating for these key reasons: -Every staff is so sweet and feels like family to me. Kelly is skillful and wonderful at the services provided -Conversation is made during your service so it's not awkward?. You will most definitely experience when you visit this fantastic establishment.

I came in this past Monday and saw Susan, my very first wax and OMG she was amazing. She explained everything she was going to do before she did it so no surprises, she was quick and very professional. The entire staff was fantastic, my first experience was amazing from the time I walked in the door until I walked out. I love these ladies. I would recommend Susan anytime

I had such a good first experience here with Susan. Coming from the harshness of the European Wax Center, Brazils was pleasant, relaxing, and accommodating. Tasha was great! I’ve never had a Brazilian wax done before today. She was patient, calm, and walked me through every step of the way. Outstanding experience. I found a Groupon for Brazil's, and I was wondering if it lived up to the ratings. The studio was immaculate, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I've already booked my next visit and I know I won't be disappointed. If you are on the fence about going, don't be. Pull the trigger and do it.
