Closest bus stop to the Almaty Airport. the area looks a little rough, but it is pretty safe during the day. buses come every 10-15 minutes and the 74 will take you to the Almaty city center. it takes maybe 45 - 1 hour to reach the transit center at Dostyk Avenue, which is the center of the hotel area. the cost is 150 Tenge per person for a ride anywhere on the the bus 1 way. The airport Taxi stand will charge you about between 10,000 and 15,000 Tenge as the "official rate". If you are not in a hurry take the bus and see the other parts of the city. About a 5 minute walk from the airport.
