I sincerely hope that this review will not only be seen by the embassy but is also considered by the Australian department. We had 3 month to sort out our children's passports while we were in Moscow. Our children are Australian citizens by birth. We made an appointment as soon as we arrived to Moscow. First available appt was a 1 month wait time. To prepare the docs we needed to fill out online form at online portal which didn't work as it was not saving the information we filled in. We went to the embassy to collect the paper forms and were given the outdated forms as it turned out later. Because of that we could not lodge the passport applications correctly on the day. We needed to obtain the citizenship certificates first. After applying for the evidence of citizenship we have received one of them 1 month later and it has arrived directly to the embassy. OK. But the 2nd child certificate has been sent separately for some reason (?!) to our address and is still getting delivered. At this stage we only have 1 month left to sort out this business that has been stuffed up with the help of the incompetent embassy staff. We made an urgent appointment to apply for passports ASAP because our children need them in order to return to Australia at the end of month. We are contacting the embassy and the home affairs department in AU at the same time, asking them to provide each other with the citizenship information by fax or mail or phone or somehow. And we receive no help. I can not imagine how these two institutions are not connected enough to share or provide such information when needed. The embassy is there to help and protect the citizens of the country they represent. And they don't do it. They just refuse to do anything. The certificate is not a one off hard copy document. It is surely contained in the system or the archive they surely able to access. Anyways now we most likely have to cancel the flights, rearrange accommodation and push back the return to AU. It takes nearly 1 month to obtain a passport. No way we receive the 2nd certificate soon enough..........

ПОЛНОЕ РАЗОЧАРОВАНИЕ ОТ СОТУДНИКОВ ПОСОЛЬСТВА! Откровенное издевательство, брать неадекватную сумму за визу, а потом писать такую ересь в отказе. Отказать в визе человеку посетившему 41 страну включая США, Великобританию, Японию, Страны Шенгенского соглашения, в т.ч действующий шенген, предоставив план на каждый день путешествия с описанием достопримечательностей и мест для посещения. Имея визу в Новую Зеландию и указав, что у нас составной маршрут! Приложив международные билеты, в том числе внутренний перелёт по Австралии! Имея квартиру, машину, стаж на последнем месте более 7 лет с высоким и стабильным заработком, просто надуманным! Вызывает больше сомнение компетентность сотрудника Evgeniia в принятии данных решений!

Idiots. Literally don't even know what they can and cannot do, You have to send them e-mails from their own website and documents telling them that they actually can do what you need them to do, and it seems like they reply whenever they feel like it. I have no idea what they are actually doing there, and i can see neither do they. They pass responsibility so fast they could be in the book of Guinness World Records. Useless. Only good reviews on here are from the morons who work there, and i agree, must be an awesome place to "work" when you don't even have to do anything. The whole place needs to be gutted and restaffed.

Особняк Дерожинской - роскошный дом, созданный Шехтелем, можно считать визитной карточкой московского модерна. Сдержанно-элегантный фасад украшен самым большим окном, высота которого снаружи не менее 10 м. Также на фасаде, облицованном светло-зеленой плиткой - "кабанчиком" много изящных деталей. В настоящее время там размещается посольство Австралии, поэтому с внутренним убранством ознакомиться можно только виртуально.

Basically you pay very high procesing fees but you are not allow to contact them directly, you have to call the euro number which works only a few hours a day if you speak English, or you can contact them by email which could take more than a week for an answers if you are lucky to get an answer. This poor, thirth country service doesn't deserve even 1 start.

As an Australian citizen I apologies to all the people who have written their poor experience at the embassy If it helps any I had similar bad experience so does not help even if you are a citizen of Australia What would happen if I was in really bad need of help from the people I pay wages via my taxes !!! Huge improvement is needed

Официальный ответ по визам должны давать в течении 28 календарных , уже 45 день идет - ответа нет.Дозвонится в посольство в Лондоне нереально. Вылет на следующей неделе, билеты куплены, все забронированно. Потрачено уже более 150 тыс. руб, безвозвратные билеты.Это в современном мире.

for the first time in my life was refused a tousrist visa despite providing all nessesary documentation. seems like the officer in charge was just fishing for any reason to refuse. they ripped me off 140 aud like aint't nobody's business! very upset and offened! shame on you!

Wasting time only I applied two times with all required documents but get refused,I do not recomend,much better apply and visit European countries,then apply Australian visa wasting time & visa fees!

Plenty of parking around the embassy. No personal contact with staff, left my documents with security at the main gate. Embassy staff did everything possible to help me and were very efficient.

In the past they were helpful and you could actually see them most times, days etc not 3 days 2 hours per day which is not very good if you need help or sanctuary like ccertain people

These guys are totally unhelpful and they refused the visas of all my friends applied from Moscow. The person was Marina. while there were no problems for me with embassy in Berlin.

This might as well be a Russian Embassy, the way they work, drinking tea for 1/2 a day. Bring genuine Australians to work with real liberal views.
