My wife had a respiratory illness at the end of our trip. Myanmar is incredibly dusty (buy a dust mask). We were concerned it was getting worse. The hospital itself is chaotic like any hospital, but after speaking with reception, we were guided around by a small army of nurses who were very happy to help. Not all spoke English, but they were always able to find someone who could. The doctor and nurse were very thorough and diligent with notes. He spoke very good English and examined her with a nurse and myself in the room. He prescribed a few medications. The pharmacy was on site. Because my wife had a pre existing condition with her lungs, we asked about an X-ray which was done immediately after the doctors consultation. Then we had another meeting with the doctor to discuss the X-ray. Both consultations, 4 prescriptions (for 5 days), and the X-ray cost is about $45 USD. The total time we were in the hospital was from about 9am until 3pm. The X-ray took time, in which we went out and grabbed lunch (and found some fantastic food around the corner at a place called President) - we were very thankful to have found competency, speed, and low cost with Mandalar Hospital, and highly recommend.

It's really really bad experience. My family has one health issue going to the hospital staying there for 5 days with no improvement seen and ended up going back to the hospital again with severe stomach pain cased by the description drugs given by the doctor in that hospital during the 5 days there and stayed for another 5 days with no improvement and spend much money for nothing. I had to moved to another hospital after staying 5 days the second time.. the service is also really really bad ...the attitude of the nurses there. Totally not recommend to anyone.

ဆေးရုံ review လေးပါ သမီးလေးမွေးတုန်းက မန္တလာဆေးရုံမှာ တာဝန်ကျ OG တွေ နဲ့ ဆရာမကြီးတွေ မွေးခဲ့တာပါ။ June 1 ရက်နေ့ plan ထားပေမယ့် မိန်းမက 27 ရက်နေ့ မနက်အစောကြီးမှာ ရေစဆင်းတာပါ မနက်စောကြီး ဆိုတော့ စိုးရိမ်ရပြီလေ OG မရှိရင်ဘယ်လိုလုပ်မလည်းဆိုပြီး ဒါမဲ့ မိန်းမက ယုံယုံကြည်ကြည်နဲ့ မန္တလာဆေးရုံကိုကောက်သွားလိုက်ပါတယ်။ ကံကောင်းချင်တော့ တာဝန်ကျ ဆရာမတွေက လည်းသေချာဂရုစိုက်ပြီး OG ဆရာမကြီးကလည်း ချက်ချင်းလာကြည့်ပေးပါတယ်။ တနေ့ကို ၂ကြိမ်လောက်လည်း OG လာကြည့်ပေးပါတယ်။ အစအစအရာအရာအဆင်ပြေခဲ့ပါတယ်။ review အရဆိုရင်တော့ 5 out of 5 ပေးပါတယ်။ဝန်ထမ်းတွေလည်း စေတနာ အရမ်း ကောင်းပါတယ်။
