The name itself clearly dictates Chinese ownership and the signage in the lift says 98% of their guests are mainland Chinese. The lobby is not brightly lit enough, failing to bring out the exquisite Chinese decor. It exudes a cold welcome though staff are polite. It gives an uneasy, notorious feeling that the environment is anything but safe. More lights should be installed to brighten up the whole lobby. The lift looks newly upgraded, however the rooms are average and the toilet not sparkling clean, hinting that this is not a new hotel. The breakfast all-glass restaurant upstairs was surprisingly neat and could exude a warm welcome if fully lit. It's in stark contrast to the lobby. According to a local, 32 and 33rd streets onwards are not safe to loiter in the evening. My advice is let the hotel serve the mainlander as that's their expertise.

My second time visiting there. Price is ok. But breakfast is not so good. The customer service of the reception is good.

The quality and service is perfect. fantastic You may go to try there when you are in Mandalay.
