I come to this store often and I love how friendly and clean it is. Today, I had come across a recipe for spinach stuffed salmon. I had everything but the salmon. I went to Aldi's and purchased a family sized salmon fillet. Once I returned home I noticed that the plastic covering of the salmon have been pierced so the juice was running out of it. I called what I thought was the direct line to the store but was informed by the automated response that they do not have traditional customer service booths within the store due to their focus of low cost to the customers. That made sense to me so I went to the store in person, stood in line and informed them that I wanted to exchange the salmon due to the packaging malfunction. I was told that would not be a problem and I picked up a replacement salmon fillet. I returned to the same cashier and was asked if I wanted it in cash or my card... I was slightly confused. I asked if they wanted to put the money back on my card and then pay for the new salmon. I was told that would not be necessary because they have a 'double guarantee': you exchange the product AND you receive a FULL refund for your trouble. I was pleasantly surprised! If a cashier is able to handle customer service situations so well there's obviously no need to have an entire booth dedicated when they are so capable! I get it Aldi's! I love it and I get it!
Oh my how I love shopping at Aldi!!! Being that my Mom is German, it was so nice shopping here with such a variety of foods that we actually had when visiting Germany. My Mom is an avid German cook and was thrilled with all the things I brought her back from my vacation. They also have food from other Country's as well. It's a very clean store, but just a note I had to learn...take change with you, if you need to use a shopping cart. It costs $.25 cents for a shopping cart. Also, bring your own bags to put your groceries in, or you can purchase bags at the register. You do get your quarter back once you put your shopping cart back where it goes, but make sure it locks into another cart. I wish we had an Aldi here Alabama. I will definately be back when visiting my son's again.
I have been a customer at Aldi in Madison over 20 years. After finishing my order the employee said what the total was ( I was paying cash). I couldn't hear him and looked to see the total on the register. There was nothing there. I said I am used to seeing the total on the register because that helps me know what to pay. He repeated the total and I still did not understand him. I told him some people have hearing problems and it helps to put the total on the register. He then put it on the register screen and I paid him. He had been rushing me while I was getting the money out of my wallet. He was rude and needs to be educated on customer relations. He was on the 1st register close to the office. He had dark hair and skin, possibly Latino. It was 4:15 8.14.23.
I know this is Madison but they could try to be nice. It was backed up and only 1 register open, I was next in line and Pamela the cashier put a closed sign down in front of me and told everyone to go to the next register. She looked at me and then to the customer In front of me (who was paying) and said “wow some people can’t read a sign!” She realized she said this too loud and didn’t look at me the entire time she rung me up and didn’t say a word. There was at least 5 people behind me who swarmed the next register so I stayed at the current register, My stuff was already on the belt so I stayed. RUDE and poor selection
This is very convenient for me to shop in this location as I don't have to cross Gallatin Road... The people who work here are absolutely the "cream of the crop"...as the saying goes! Just today, I couldn't find an item...and the cashier ran back to see if she could find it for me (in between checking customers out) she even checked with the guys in the back...but they had run out of the item I was looking for...I REALLY appreciate the service of all the employees...EVERYONE is SO NICE and accommodating! Thank you!
I’ve always had great experiences in this store, but today really made my day. It’s a long story not worth repeating, but I ended up losing my all-too-precious cart quarter on my way into the store. I found an employee to ask if they had a suggestion for a way I could get a new one without having to find an ATM and break a $20, and they pulled one out of their pocket for me. It may have just been $0.25, but after a long day, it felt like a little boost to my faith in humanity, and I’m truly grateful for that!
This location was new in 2017. Very clean and well-organized. Good selection of staples and some specialized items, almost always cheaper than other stores. Organic produce, great selection of breads, packaged meats and cheeses. One way they apparently keep prices low is by saving on labor. There's almost always a short wait, as there's rarely more than one checkout lane open. However, checkers are very fast, so it's typically not a long wait.
Picked up 2 packs of cinnamon rolls dated 7/9, & 7/10(today is7/2) both were dry and totally disappointed. I'm taking them back tomorrow. I took 1 back Monday and exchanged it for the same thing just to get home and that one was just as bad. I just wasn't going to make another trip for$4 cinnamon rolls 2 days in a row but guess I will be doing it again. But I'm getting a refund and I'll go to another store this time.
I forgot all about this place over the years. . I've so been sleeping on the produce and was really impressed with the selection and how much it's grown since I had a house full of little ones to feed on a really small budget being I was a stay at home home for 10 years. . Now it's back on my radar and will become a weekly stop again I'm sure.. . Update spent 41 dollars and walked out feeling like a millionaire lol
As a budget grocery store, I expected a mess. But, this store is very clean and the food is always fresh. There's a Kroger across the street, but Aldi is usually in stock with what I'm looking for, and the staff has always been friendly with me and my family. I'm glad they moved from Madison Square to their current location. It's so much easier to get in and out of. Great place to shop, and to save some money.
Very clean store. Employees were very helpful. Noticed they wiped off card apparatus, after each use. Very impressive. I always wondered about this, at other stores. You go through wearing mask, wiping down shopping carts, and using hand sanitizer. Then everyone uses the card apparatus and it very seldom gets wiped down at other shopping stores. Makes you wonder.,
I’m an ALDI devotee, but I find myself consistently less than satisfied with this store. It’s a bummer that they are all not run to the same standard. I have different issues with their East Nashville store - but both pale into comparison to their Cookeville store… Still, their prices can’t be beat! So I’ll keep coming here and wishing it were more like my old store…
I really like Aldi. They have rearranged the store so it may take you a bit longer to find your favorites. However, I am pleased with the quality of the products I have bought here and it is clean. I have not see old moldy food on the shelves so it makes it easier for me to shop more efficiently and with piece of mind. Don't forget your bags!
Aldi's regular prices are significantly cheaper than even the sale prices across the street, the store is laid out efficiently so you don't have to go back and forth to find things, and the way they do bags and carts keeps the parking lot clean and organized. If they stocked lentils, I'd never go to another grocery store.
Good experience. No problems. A bit cool in there for me but some may like it that way. When we were in line to check out there was a long line but they did open another register. Great prices on what was on my list for the week! It was clean and stocked. Thank you to all the employees that work at this location.
Love my local Aldi's! Went to find 2 specific new items in the ad and found both to my surprise! Sugar skull cookies for my grandson to decorate, also a pretty big sugar skull succulent pot. It is totally awesome! I want to find another box of the cookies since he absolutely loved decorating them!
It's Aldi, you know what to expect, you're going to get brands that you haven't heard of, but that doesn't mean they're not good. They do import a lot of German and French foods, which is awesome! And you're going to get better prices on meat and other things here versus Kroger or Pukelix.
The people working there are SO kind. I lost a receipt that I really needed and after one of the employees looked in a few trash cans for me, the manager went into the office to try and find it in the system and print me a new one. She went above and beyond to help me, made my day!
I LOVE SHOPPING AT ALDI. THE STAFF ARE COURTEOUS, THE SELVES IS ALWAYS STOCKED, THE PRICES ARE WITHIN THE RANGE OF MOST OF THE BIG BOX STORES!! MOVING THROUGH THE STORE IS QUITE EASY!! Aldi gets 90% of my food dollars each and every month! Thank you Aldi for being in my area!!
The fruits and veggies are fresh and good basic selection. You will not find exotic fruits and veggies here. The workers there have always been so helpful and friendly. The security personnel is professional and friendly. The store and bathrooms are very clean
Especially great prices on canned foods and dry goods. There's been a burst of name brand items making their way into stores lately which has replaced some of their less expensive items. Regardless, still great prices, friendly staff, and a clean store.
There's NO PLACE that offers produce like Aldi! Hands down, the best selection with decent prices. Their weekly sales are always terrific! Even found boneless, skinless chicken breasts markdown, still within date, for 50% off!! Fish I love this place!!
Great store! Awesome prices! Wide aisles which is awesome when avoiding people. Haha. Which we are all kinda doing right now are for the foreseeable future. Plus, our favorite liquor store is next door! Everyone is very sweet and super quick.
Great food, great price; two great qualities in afood store. The location can be trickey to get into with the four way intersection and traffice, which seems to be at most times of day, but once you are in the parking lot it's all easy from
put a quarter into the shopping cart.. get your quarter back, when you return shopping cart. Food discounted about 40-50 cents compared to Kroger and $1-4 compared to Publix. Cold cuts, cheese, dairy, eggs, produce, chips, ice cream,
My family chooses this because great price, great food selection, and most its freshness, and quality! Wished they start giving the bags though seriously it annoys me to carry 3-6 things in my hand! But from there it's a great store!
The 2 fortly male cashiers couldn't be more rude or smartmouthed if they tried .. my last trip their ,I hope this particular store folds... Those two guys should get a job working in a trash waste Management sorting garbage...
Love the prices! Selection has grown significantly over the years and i think the biggest downside is that I always forget my quarter for the basket! Don't forget to bring your bags! Just more bang for your buck hands down.
This ALDI is always organized and immaculate! It feels very new and fresh. I love the bargains that I find here sometimes! The staff are always friendly and I am usually able to find most everything I'm looking for!
When they say they close at 8:00 they actually mean they close at 7:50 so don’t try to run in and grab anything real quick…. Pretty sad that they do this to loyal customers. Very disappointed in this location.
Absolutely love the new location! Great prices, great quality produce/products, and ample parking. Checkout is sometimes a little backed up, but staff immediately opens another register to quicken things up.
It was a good experience. Items are significantly cheaper than other grocery stores. It was very clean and well organized. Cashier was pleasant. Overall savings for me! Definitely shopping there again.
Great prices. Great imported German foods. Very basic options so don't expect anything crazy. Bring a quarter for a cart and know that you'll have to pay for your bags if you don't bring your own.
Nice newer store close to other grocery options. This store is a bit smaller than others in the area longer then normal lines Not easy to cross the street from the kroger use the traffic lights
I go to all these two to three times a week whether it's to do grocery shopping or just follow for bread the services always good the lines are a little long sometimes but it's worth the wait
Very nice people. I even helped a manger because the truck unloaded some soft shells that were moded. I told her so no other customers would here even helped her as will. Great people there.
Checkout was quick and better staffed than the other location closer to Huntsville. Aisles were clean and stocked. The place was brightly lit. This is a fairly nice grocery store.
Picked up some avocados fairly cheap & not over ripened to make Chili's Avocado Eggrolls for my wife. Its gonna be trout for supper tomorrow night. (not sure we like trout?)
Always well-stocked and clean. Usually quick check out even if only one or two cashiers are open. Great prices and I have always liked all of their items.
Aldi always has really good fruits and veges at good prices. Small grocery, easy to get in and out when you're in a hurry. Always clean.
Store is always clean and tidy. Clerk's are nice and friendly. Some of my favors is sometimes depleted Over all will be back. …
I wish we had one in Madisonville Kentucky. Can't shop there very often because it's a drive of at least 40 minutes. I love Aldi
Decent location with decent product selection and good prices. I will definitely be shopping here for groceries in the future.
Love it! It's cheaper then most other grocery stores. Downside. Don't forget a quarter so you can get a shopping cart out!
It’s fine. It’s an aldis. Haha. Not the best part of town but never had any problems. My wife goes here alone often.
Great prices, clean store. Customer service is always very polite. Parking lot is easy to get in and out.
I love Aldi. I saw that they had air mattresses for sale, had to go to two stores but I found one.
Like some of the brands better than other stores. The prices are much lower than other stores too.
Great place to get groceries nice people but out side homeless people hanging out asking for money
Always loved Aldi's. I should have never left it for Walmart! I got some great items for my cats!
Store was clean, prices are great, good store and convenient to nearby neighborhoods.
Best grade of beef stakes i have found they killing krogars on quality and price.
Our favorite place to shop for groceries, great prices and quick shopping!
This is now my go to place for fresh produce. Great diary product too.
This door is always playing and we'll keep nice employees.
It's 0° in the store and it's hard to shop
I'm a super fan! Prices can't be beat.
The cashier was not very nice at all.
Great i got in an out in 30 mins
