"Was barked orders at to get a cart when I only just needed one item"
This place was busy with customers hustling through the aisles and employees stocking shelves. One moment I saw about 4 cartons of eggs remaining and within 1 minute the refrigerator was packed. Cages with cardboard boxes were conveniently available for folks to pack up groceries. Although I did manage to bring a canvas bag with me the box was helpful. (I was not paying for a bag.) There were enough checkout lines open to keep the customers moving and avoid blocking aisles. The cashier was also helpful by lifting a case of water and swiping a checkcard for a senior before me. Grocery shopping is one of my least favorite things to do in life. When I go, I tend to usually get mostly the same items so; when going to Aldi I appreciate the similar layouts, familiar aisles, competitive pricing, and produce options. The quarter carts keep the carts on the premises and I don't mind bringing my own bags...I have plenty under the sink . The customer service is a plus. I recommend Aldi on Nolensville Pike, even when it is busy.
Aldi used to be my favorite place to shop. As the chain has grown larger, the local-quirky feel has been lost. It is now our last stop, if we go at all. The quality staff that was at the store for a long time is now gone. The inventory diminishes throughout the day, without restocking. So if you're a late in the day shopper, it's no good. The prices better than the competitors, but not by enough to make it our first choice. Their wonderful replacement policy is now policed and guarded. In the old days, if we got some bad produce, we would simply tell the checker and be handed a free one. Today, you get that look if you even try. Since a lot of their produce is in bags, you don't really know if there will be a couple of duds until you get home. We NEVER abused this privilege. Apparently others did, or corporate policy has clamped down on this.
One of the best places to go to save some money on groceries while still getting high quality foods. I've read they're now Whole Foods' main competitor in the organic department, which I wouldn't doubt. A lack of consistent vegetarian faux meat options, a seriously inconsistent speed in checkouts, and requiring a quarter to get a cart are the only annoyances I have with this place as a business. Those carts quite often refuse to unlock without tools to push the quarter in. Getting hit up nearly every time by people asking for money in the parking lot seems to have dissipated, although that could be temporary. It's a great little store though.
My first visit here was ok, but now that I’ve been coming to this location several times now, I am started to notice how the employees are a bit on the Prejudice side when it comes to serving people of color. Came in on 05/18/2021. At 5:09pm exactly, The cashier greeted the white lady that was in front of me and even asked how was her day, even told her to have a great day. Me on the other hand, the cashier did not even speak to me, I had to make her talk by asking how was her day. She only gave me my total and didn’t even say have a good or great day like said had told the Previous lady. I will not be coming back to this location.
Was barked orders at to get a cart when I only just needed one item. They say its to help stop the spread of covid 19. The carts are not 6 ft so it does not help with guidelines. They have the aisles marked for one way but no one shopping was paying any attention to the signs so many times I had people within 6 ft. They're "disinfecting" method was to do one quick wipe over with a lysol wipe and then it was good to go to the next customer... Please read up on how to properly disinfect your carts if you plan on forcing customers to use them. A lot of stores are saying you can't use gloves inside so this is just plain ridiculous.
Placed curbside pickup order for a specified time, but received a text message that it was ready before that time and it could be picked up. Parked in a designated spot for pickup and called the store to inform of arrival. The young lady who promptly brought the order out was polite and asked where we preferred the groceries be placed. Everything was packed in a sensible way...bread and chips...eggs in a separate bag...frozen...cold...just like it should. Stores that offer curbside pickup are limited, but will DEFINITELY use this service again.
This was the most uplifting visit to grocery store. The young man in front of me in checkout paid for my groceries. I told him it wasn't necessary that there must be people there who needed his help more than I. I really didn't need for anyone to pay for my things. But he insisted and even enlisted the cashiers help in putting my groceries on his bill. He said God was his guide. Then we prayed together in the parking lot...and hugged! Dear God, please bless your kind servant Jordan. Amen. The store and staff were great as usual!
As usual ALDI is a great place to shop. If you've never been bring a quarter to use a shopping cart. You get the quarter back when you return the cart to the designated return area, and dont forget reusable bags for packing. Or you can by them there and reuse those. There have been very few products I've purchased there that I haven't liked. They also carry a variety of seasonal items, and the place is great for party planning. I've been shopping at ALDI since the mid 90s and same consistant quality is still there.
In general I love Aldi. Great products, great prices on their brand products. I'm not a brand name user on most products and haven't noticed any difference. This particular store is closest to me.. But it is always busy and sometimes crowded. They get you checked out efficiently... But the store, although newly remodeled... It can get run low and unorganized by the end of the day. But, thats due to sheet volumn I'm sure.. As it's usually stocked and clean IN the mornings I've been there.
Aldi's is Aldi's. Good prices, unique selection of items, lots of imported selections (cookies from Germany etc) and discounted meat, dairy and produce. Quality is hit or miss - sometimes a home run, sometimes disappointing, and the store is usually very crowded, but the addition of self checkouts is great and overall I really enjoy shopping here as one of my main grocery stores in the area. The Nolensville Rd location can be a bit dirtier than other Aldi's in the area.
This is a very busy location. There are days they have staff and others staff is short. However, due to the times we’re living in I think we need to have and show some patients. The staff is helpful and nice. If you have a question or need help finding something no one is too busy to help. And no matter your budget you will always find a low price for whatever you need. If you’re looking for great products at a fair price shop at Aldi. You pocket will be glad you did.
Went here to get some flowers and $40 cash back. Cashier didn’t give me my money and I didn’t notice until after I left. Called and waited to fix the issue, got my money, but regardless if you’re working as a cashier you should know better than to not give someone their money (unless you thought you could pocket it and I wouldn’t notice?) Not worth it, same deals at other stores.
I was standing in line and the lady stated she was closed , I got in the next line which was long and then she told the lady in FRONT of me to come on to her line and then everybody preceded to her line. That was the ruddest customer service I have ever seen not to MENTION the lady in FRONT of me was Caucasian. The clerk name is Searra VERY RUDE!!
It's not bad, but the prices aren't the much different than other stores! We do like going there to get some items that we can't find elsewhere. The stores are not very big but their clean and well organized. Be prepared to bag your own groceries in your bags, and make sure you have a quarter, because you'll need one to get a shopping cart!
Good quality and very good prices. Sometines they are out of stock with some products but there have more options. I get surprised about the good quality of the fresh fruits and veggies, and because they are cheaper than others expensive groceries. It would be great if they could have more kinds of households items. Sorry for my English!!
This particular Aldi is always short on supplies. I am not sure if it is the global shortage or not because other Aldi stores seem to be better stocked than this one. It is not in the best of neighborhoods and there are usually people asking for money in the parking lot. Honestly, just avoid this store and go to another close by.
Employees are always friendly..HOWEVER the company has discontinued frozen orange juice I was told but that it was cokong back..WHY THE HELL WOULD U STOP SELLING A MAJOR PRODUCT?BAD SALES MOVE ALDI.i gipe it's not a ploy to make us buy the more expensive premade stuff.whats next to be disco ti ued-milk and eggs?
I love Aldi and think this location is the best store around Nashville. If you've never been here before bring a quarter for your cart (you get it back when you return the cart) and some reusable shopping bags. If you forget the reusable bags you can buy bags there or just grab empty boxes to pack your food in.
The staff here are always so friendly, helpful and professional. The store is very clean and it has nice wide aisles. You really can't beat the prices and I find the selection of products to be often interesting and fun. It's neat to see products from different countries and I love their seasonal home items.
Has everything i need, good qualitt & competitive prices....what more could one ask for ! Btw one reason amongst the above is the fresh papapya...imagine 99 cents ....try them folks(if they are not already ripe wrap them in paper allow them to turn yellow....discover the angel fruit with many health benefits
My problem is with Aldi’s in general. They tend to discontinue foods I think a lot of. You can get the # to the main office and let them know. At this Aldi’s the people are nice & they have been opening extra check outs, when, the lines get long. They are helpful at finding items. The place looks great.
Great place if you are shopping on a budget. Really recommend going outside of peak hours, as it can be an absolute madhouse. Selection is good and it is worth shopping the stuff that is marked down or in the Aldi Finds sections. We do the bulk of our shopping here and get anything else from Publix.
Though popular with some, not my idea of a good grocery store. Pervasive odor of spoiled food in produce and rear of store, very limited products that appear very randomly selected, and prices not exceptional. They did have a nice sparkling apple soda in individual serving bottles in 4 packs.
This is one very busy place! However they handle it very well! Like most ALDIs, they are clean and bright. Good prices on certain things, and always friendly staff. This one is usually super busy because of where it is located. I will say, remember to bring a quarter for the shopping cart!
They have Very Good Produce for a reasonable price , which is actually quite hard to find these days. The only Negative thing I can say about this Particular Aldi's is , No Matter HOW MANY People are there they ALWAYS only gave one cashier. So , expect a LONG WAIT in the Check Out Line.
I love aldi prices. The remodel made the store bigger but the products are the same. It was a little messy... There meat section wasn't well stocked this time around. Products are all over the place...no signs over head as to where what is... Hopefully they'll get it together.
Always a pleasure shopping at Aldi and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank them for the continued measures to keep their customers safe during the pandemic. Out of all the stores I've been to Aldi has by far had better procedures than anywhere else. Thank you so much!
For my first time shopping here I was able to navigate the store very quickly. I had a very pleasant experience and all the employees that I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back again as they had a lot of sales and a very nice wine selection!
Aldi's expansion into more plant-based foods and vegan options is more appreciated than I can say. Too often, eating a healthy vegan diet is associated with being expensive, but it absolutely isn't, and Aldi is providing these alternatives at excellent prices!
Although I can't get everything I normally use at Aldi, I can get the majority, and it's always top notch. I love the prices and the fact they carry so many organic products. I've never bought anything I was unhappy with. Aldi is the bomb! I love this place!
Some people say Aldi is a cheap alternative but I say it's an inexpensive grocery destination. Inexpensive and cheap are 2 different things. Save a few dollars, yes and thank you. Also, their selection seems to be growing while constantly improving.
Great prices on a variety of food, especially produce. My only complaint is sometimes I go in there and they are almost out of produce. You have to hit then at the right time. Also checkout lines can be long so it's not a quick in and out place.
The selection isn't amazing and you spend a lot longer standing in line to check out but you can not beat the prices. It is my first stop when going grocery shopping. Anything I can't find there gets bought at the more expensive bigger stores.
This aldi is always out of one thing you need. It might seem like a small complaint, but when that one thing is celery or cream cheese (when they sell bagels), it ends up being really inconvenient. This is also the only aldi I've ever seen
Had to alert manager because carwas in handicap spot that shouldn't be there & im disabled with permanant tags & placard & there was Mercedes in hadicap spot today that did not have tag nor placard that needed the cops alerted to be fined
This Aldi's STOLE from me. They're excuse was there is still a coin shortage. HELLO Aldi's management every other business in the area including your biggest competitor WALMART (1 mile down the road) can provide change. So, stop with this
It was my first time going to Aldi my cousin in Cleveland Ohio told me to check it out I was in need of some pillows after buying countless pillows at Walmart and not getting what I was paying for I took a chance and bought some pillows
Groceries, no gimmicks just groceries. Simply displayed at good prices. The produce is the best value in town. You need a quarter for the cart and bring your own bags or purchase them there. Boxes are also available around the store.
Aldi across from the Zoo is The Best in town! Friendly staff, Most items restocked yet MOST of all during this pandemic "Season" they have practiced the most thorough distancing, sanitation ect. In every measure beautifully!
I always shop here when visiting my family in Nashville. Great prices on food. Store is nice and clean and checkers are courteous. I just wish we had Aldi stores in northern Louisiana because I would definitely shop there.
Aldi is a great neighborhood grocery store. The staff are usually friendly and helpful. Great place to find good deals- don't forget to bring your own bags and a quarter to deposit (and get back!) for your shopping cart.
Went in around Thanksgiving and place was packed. Good prices on many products. Great wine and cheese selection. Thought I would be standing in line for awhile, but the checkers were quite fast and polite! Will be back.
I shop here to save $$$$. Store us clean, well stocked, plentry of parking. Bring your quarter to get a shop cart, returned back to you when bring cart back to cart area. Cashiers fast & friendly. Prices cant be beat.
Nice Aldi's with a good selection and pricing is better than the Aldi's on Charlotte. A dozen eggs at that one were $1.79 vs. $1.58 at this one. I just wish they would open another line when it's crowded.
If I'm on strictly a food mission this is my go to grocery store. The meat and produce are quality items at a better than average price. Also, I love the quick check out. I never spend much time in line.
Crowded as expected....the day before Easter. Always love visiting this store. It's clean and always stocked with my favorite items. Also like browsing the misc.aisle. Good deals on clearance items.
Always enjoy coming here since the prices are good. Produce is fresh and it's always clean here and employees are always friendly. They have q wide variety of items available at a good price.
The new renovation is amazing. There are more lanes available for check out now. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are very low and the quality of the products are amazing.
The workers here are nice and professional and they work very hard to keep up the inside. I'm excited to see how much better it will be after their renovation in Fall 2017. This is MY Aldi.
Wish there was an Aldi closer than 15 minutes to downtown Nashville. Cheapest on most grocery items with usual inventory levels, clean store, and quick checkout staff. My go-to location.
It's a typical Aldi, bring quarters to use their shopping cart. They have a lot of stuff for fairly cheap, and it's small enough that it makes getting in and out of the store very easy.
The rudest cashier I've ever encountered at this location. She was so very cut throat, so to speak... She need to realize a lot of people are a paycheck away from losing their jobs!
As of this review, this particular store has been newly remodeled. Fresh new looks with all of the usual products and good prices that you would commonly find at your local Aldi's.
Most of the time it is a great place to shop..its not their fault they don't always have product..like the cute stuff..everyone is struggling at this time..things will get better
Great and friendly staff! I couldn't find some items today but I understand that it's a busy Saturday morning. I am a bit disappointed in the apples I got. A few were rotten :(
Aldi has a wide variety of foods to choose from. Some changing, some constant. You never know what treasure you're going to find there. The cashiers are always super nice too.
This store really cares about their customers and workers. The check out line is fast with a friendly atmosphere. I love the earth friendly bags too! Keep up the hard work!
It's really good this place, just one thing if you want find still a lot of food, you need to go early, perhaps when they open. Anyway is good storage have food organic.
Clean, bright, great variety. Bathrooms were clean. First Aldi I've seen with Alcohol, not bad just surprised a few bottles looked a bit dusty but the display was nice.
Wonderful and the Employee's were the best.just don't understand why they are not taking this MASKING SERIOUS,the staff had mask but not much of the shopper's. …
Always fresh good quality fruits and vegetables at great prices. Cashiers very friendly and quick. Store is clean, restrooms clean. Overall very positive shopping.
Call me crazy, but in these days/times...$100 seem to go a lil further at Aldi then at other grocery stores in our area... Will most definitely be BACK!!!
Has good food. I can never put in a call in order for some guy that won't answer the phone and is always on the phone. I'll bring my business else where
Clean environment, which is always a plus! Selection on the produce section and also they have surprisingly very good sandwich meats in the deli station
Great selection and prices. Busy time of day but employee working checkout was a bit rude. In and out quickly tho, neat and appealing store displays
Busy but handy for those weekly items you need. Go grab some of that great meat - they are bound to have some good sales on healthier organic meat.
Excellent prices, service is 10, food quality is 10, fruits and vegetables are always fresh and also wines are great and cheap... I just love Aldi
I applied to all store's I have 25 year's of accounting & billing No one knows what or who their looking for? Many have applied with NO Intention
Clean store that is well stocked and staffed. Very busy during my visit but they Kept opening more registers for the customers. Good job folks!
Love the store. Been shopping here for years. Made it bigger and now have a lot of name brand items which is so much cheaper than other stores.
This is a typical Aldi yet much larger than the one we normally frequent in Tullahoma. Lots of wonderful food products and HomeGoods.
Love shopping for groceries at this place. Never worry over the price, competitive in our hood. Milk and beef, have great flavor.
They've rearranged things, so it's much easier to see and negotiate the aisles now. Best selections of healthy snacks in town.
Low prices, mostly store brands, checkout fairly quick. Store is clean and organized. Don't buy the iced tea - tastes awful
Great selection of jeans. I got like new Lee's for 6.98 and they fit perfectly They had a ton of beautiful purses. …
They don't carry all name brand items, they have their own and I think most of what I've tried is just as good.
In an Instacart Shopper and they were out of a lot of items which resulted in my customer canceling his order.
Friendly staff and very helpful! My first time in an Aldis. Great prices and specialty items. I will go back!
Lower prices that most other stores. They don't have many name brands items. Produce is reasonable in price.
Nicely curated grocery and home goods selection at great prices. My go to for charcuterie board snacks!
Nice shop with right price... they have their own brand stuffs ... some items are really cheap!!!
Best barbacoa taco iver ever had. Number two combo burger is better than Blakes
I love Aldi. This one isn't the cleanest or most well stocked. Parking is good.
Good selection and well-stocked just needs more staff. Don't like self checkout
Very low selection of produce. Not as much of a variety as most I've been to.
Great savings and constantly improving choices, helping stretch our budget!
Good prices, not the tidiest place..allways stock pallets everywhere.
Everything i needed with the convience of being close to home
Love their prices
