"The park is very well kept, very well managed, has excellent and clean facilities, and a very scenic playground in the middle of the quad for kids and parents"
"Great RV spot"

"This is a nice RV park in the Mission Valley area"
"Nice Campground that is broad & expansive with a pool, golf course, massive picnic area, tennis courts, basketball court, large grass area for maybe a softball game and whatever else"
The park is very well kept, very well managed, has excellent and clean facilities, and a very scenic playground in the middle of the quad for kids and parents. The locatio is also fantastic, right in the middle of the Qualcomm area and minutes from Fry's electronics and Mission valley mall as well as great hiking up towards El Cajon and Santee. Price is fantastic as well! The only reason I'm taking one star off is due to the music. Don't expect to get a good night's sleep during the weekends due to the horrendous music that blasts through the area until 2 a.m. on Friday, saturday, and yes, even Sunday night. While the music itself isn't too loud, the base penetrates all but the most robust RV's, and prevents any type of sound sleep unless you're a deep sleeper, which I am not. For that reason, it is not recommended to stay here over the weekend if you are a light sleeper. I've tried to complain but it seems the source is difficult to pinpoint with the area being surrounded by apartment buildings. Other than that, I really love this park!
Great RV spot. Noise is surprisingly low since you are so near the highway and busy for streets. The turn onto Admiral Drive is a turn down on a steep hill. It is not hard but be ready in case you are towing. The sites are close together but well laid out. We were in spot 38. The sewer connection ran so it was downhill. I could see the spots on either us ran downhill. The laundry room is spacious. There separate toilet shower are behind locked doors. The commissary and EX is about 8 miles away. Both are easy to get to and directions are part of you check-in process. The RV park is next to a golf course so once dusk hits is gets very quiet. Lots of opportunity to walk and work out in this recreation area. We would definitely stay here again.
It really breaks my heart to see how Admiral Baker has gone downhill recently. The park location itself is ideal and the grounds are beautiful. However, the new management and their policy changes have made the RV park an unpleasant place to stay. We are an active duty military family, the MWR programs or facilities are supposed to enrich the lives of present and past military patrons, yet this particular park is open to the public and it shows. Their money generating mindset has created policies which are not favourable to the MWR mission. I hope our military catches onto this place soon and they implement positive changes.

This is a nice RV park in the Mission Valley area. It is on government property so you need a military ID or DOD CARD. You can stay here max 30 days. Winter prices are 40 per night. You get max 2 pets but they charge $1 per night for a second pet. Also, there is a nice dog run for the pups. The Wifi is free but I little slow. I was still able to stream Netflix. There are laundry facilities that fill up quick on the weekends. They charge $1 per load and $1 to dry. For the summer months, there is a nice looking water park with a big slide. The scenery is nice too, the park is surrounded by a golf course with older mature trees. Book this place if you get a chance, you won't regret it.
Nice Campground that is broad & expansive with a pool, golf course, massive picnic area, tennis courts, basketball court, large grass area for maybe a softball game and whatever else. Onsite laundry facility with neighboring shower & restroom facility. I believe the privacy curtain for the shower room stalls could be redesigned & modernized to have individual stalls with a locking door for better privacy. I believe there are fine details in everything that could show going above & beyond for giving five star service. Admiral Baker has remarkable amenities though I will give 4 star as they have many fine details to work on to get the five star.
Over the phone they were selling us on how they have basket balls and soccer balls to rent as well as a mini golf course, then come to find out we cant use any of it. We went in and asked about the mini golf and all she said was “we are permanently out”… out of what? As well as wasting more water on their terrible grass area than they do on their pool and water slide that was also closed. They started their sprinklers at 5 am and they have yet to turn off at 9:05 am. Was wondering why I haven't seen anyone outside of their rv plot.
We really loved this RV Park , Safe ,Clean and Friendly. Also we met a young man who worked there ,Mr Tyler Clarke . Colette asked him for special maintenance on our camp site and he willingly responded with cheer and a professional attitude. I found him a very responsible, friendly and courteous man and Tyler is definitely an asset to this Park. Thanks also to Roseanna for the refund on our unexpected early check out . We highly recommend this Park . It is a credit to Admiral Baker and the entire United States Military !
Let me begin by saying that I think the facility is great and the people are nice however, this really isn't a military friendly place even though it is a MWR facility. The dog park is off limits unless you are using the RV facility. I understand there was an incident here with a dog and someone that wasn't military or using the RV park. They need the find a way to make this place more military friendly.
Great small rv park with welcoming staff and camp host. Only downside is the landmine of dog poop along the gravel area for overflow which have seen multiple times tenants walking their dogs later to find out dog feces are all over the area. Camp hosts shouldn't remind you to mond your dog extrements, but if it has to lead to that, well don't complain for being singled out.
More of a parking lot than an rv park. No room to stretch out. Great for out of town visitors who want to be in the center of town. Also great if you just want to golf all day. They have a big picnic area away from the rv area.

Great value
I have had our I Do BBQ here and our daughters first birthday. We used Gazebo 1 for I Do BBQ which is more expensive but sooooooo worth it. My sister was able to set up music and speakers and we had a photographer come and set up. It was amazing the grills are great. And the park is right there for kids. I honestly love the place.
Tent camping great location. Lots of broken glass and rusty nails buried in the sand. Be wary of barefoot children and watch your pets paws! I'd be concerned from a liability perspective if I were the MWR Director. Use at own risk. Camping prohibited between Mid FEB and Memorial Day due to seal breeding just East in the lagoon.
This is the worst place we have ever stayed! First they canceled our reservation, then put us in a spot with no sewer (we had paid for sewer), and that has an ant infestation that they clearly knew about, as they had put some ant killer down. They gave us no apology and a $5 discount Absolute garbage
Lovely park and great location. The sites surround a nice park in the center. The facility is clean and reasonably secure. There are two golf courses and tons of activities and shopping nearby. Easy on and off freeways. Sites are all back in, but plenty of room even for larger trailers.
My granddaughter and I went to Admiral Baker today to play on their one of their multiple playgrounds. It's a beautiful place with lots of shade trees picnic tables, basketball courts, mini golf, swimming pool and of course, golf. But no dog's allowed. We had a fun time …
This site does have mini golf, pool, and wifi. But the mini golf and pool are closed forever. Wifi is just enough to come on phone but after searching one thing, guess what no internet. Great cement level patio. Water and power hook ups. Great price for San Diego.
I've been thinking of buying an RV. I'm not military, but wanted to learn more about RV parks, so stopped in. People very nice. Park very nice. Looked pretty full. Nice amenities including golf course, huge pool, play ground, picnic area, plenty of parking.
This place is fantastic. Huge and plenty of recreation space. Great place to have a command function complete with outdoor kitchen, dancefloor, picnic tables, softball fields, RV parking and Lots of vehicle parking. Nice, 18 hole golf course too.
Stayed at the RV park and am loving the location, ease of access, and the surrounding area. Definitely worth every penny if you are eligible to stay here.

The spaces are too far away from restrooms, dog park, internet not working, pool closed, really poor experience. Folks walking animals across grassy area to restroom allowing them to go in grass without piking up. This is one the worst
First, the managment is a problem. They always thought i was up to no good, even tho all i was doing was using the dump & refilling my water tank.Once, after finishing, because of health issues,i had to use MY restroim for about 5
Sites are very narrow. You cant drive to rv check in. Couple of hundred yards to walk to check in. Nice dog park. But there's a group that aren't camping. That use dog park from 4 to 7 pm. After 7 you cant drive down to park
Lots of amenities. Great staff. You can use equipment for free. The only bad thing is even though it is used by the military it's open to the public so a hobo stole my brother's bike, so make sure to lock everything down.
Great park, very clean. Plenty of activities for kids. Mini Golf course. Basketball courts. Places to run. Bathrooms, vending machines. Plenty of parking spaces. Golf course close by. I'm very impressed by this place.
The staff is amazing and super helpful! This is a beautiful RV Campground and is kept very nice.

No one ever answers the phone or returns calls when the directions advise to leave a message and someone will return the call. Also, no email address to attempt to contact that way. Sad way to run a business. More
Exactly what we needed ... a place to park with all utilities central to everything. Clean, pleasant, quiet. Must have military connection to stay here. Great playgroundS for grandkids. Plenty of parking for tows.
Very nice park. Quiet. WORST park I have ever been to as far as the RVers picking up their dogs poop. And that's saying a lot since I have been full time RVing for 14 years! Other than that it would have 5 stars.
We love camping here when in San Diego. I grew up near here and would come down here to go swimming and go to our dad's ship picnics. Been coming here since 1959! The Navy maintains the whole area beautifully.
I love this well maintained and open RV campground. Great for kids, out has multiple playgrounds, wide open areas, and baseball field. One of the cleanest I've been to in California. Very accessible as well.
Pretty nice. Some site layouts are angled so that the sewer connection for the next site is right in front of your front door. Also, the road noise is a concern. Especially during rush hour and all weekend.
Very inexpensive place to stay in San Diego. WiFi didn’t work the best. Even though it says 30 days max some looked like they were homesteading. Only one vehicle at a site only enforced infrequently.
I got a little lost finding a specific area but overall a great place to host and event. It had an area for every sport and plenty of places to cook and eat, as well as, plenty of parking.
I utilize the RV camping site at Admiral Baker and found it to be very good and quiet at night during quiet hours, and it’s a good way for me to visit San Diego and I took full advantage
Been here a week. A man behind the fence (probably is homeless and lives there) frequently yells profanities, including mentioning the word "kidnap" and "I'm coming to get you."
Conveniently located in San Diego. Site pads are small but if you hang over things are still pretty much level. Office staff is great and has been a great help with scheduling.
Wonderful stay, the park was clean and quiet, the staff at registration were very helpful and welcoming. We stayed in lot 7 next to a beautiful shaded tree. We will be back.
Most beautiful grove of Black Olive trees underneath 100 s of bright colored picnic tables. The grounds were gorgeous. Loved having the golf course for our campsite view
What a hidden gem! I've lived in San Diego all my life and have never seen it. It's super hidden. The grounds are immaculate. We were there for a 4 year olds bday party
Great park. Very large. The rental cost for a gazebo seems a little steep for a government installation. Noticed some vandalism recently, hopefully it's taken care of.
Needs some work. Showers & toilets are very old and need updated or replaced. Lacks pride in their cleaning. Building by the pool is falling apart. Nice picnic area.
Great rv park that is clean and well maintained. Nice grass area and playground for the kids. This is the 5th time we've been here and have never had a complaint.
We had our 50th high school reunion in this place, rented for a day for 37 people, restrooms are clean, surroundings is safe and secured, parking is available.
Best place I've stayed in a long time. Pretty affordable. Centrally located in San Diego. Lots of amenities. My new destination when I'm staying in San Diego
Love this place. Golf courses are nice, North is better than south. But overall great for the price. And staff is always friendly. Always a good time.
This park blows. You can’t bring your dogs and you can’t come unless you’re military. Turns out you can’t even go outside anymore in this country!
For Military members and families mostly. A secluded valley very close to an intersection of interstate freeways, but seems like old San Diego.
My JROTC battalion came here for Cadet Picnic and it was amazing! The location is very large and open and had lots of space for all of us More
They do not allow repairs. Emergency only. RVs almost always need work done. Just stay somewhere that cares about people and their RV.
Its a nice park. Military only. Kinda crowded but it has okay recreational facilitys. Better than some other parks I've been too
Pretty ghetto. Grass is nice for ceremonies, but not in the rain. There is no shelter. Bathrooms are bad with jail toilets.
We love admiral baker they're so accommodating always. We love having the kids here to play with all the other kids.
It's very nice place for panic or BBQ. Big playground for the kids.

Course is great. South course for beginners north course for advanced players. Either one is fun.
Very clean and Quiet fun for the family military only veterans hangout …
Picnic area is in an olive grove. Lots of nature around. Lovely place.
It's a large open place no grounds are kept and it's nice and clean.
