Please beware that the access to Albion Falls is closed by the city. There is only a hiking trail available but that does not lead to the Falls. When we asked the reps available for guidance they said that any who is caught going down will be charged $100 per person and $10,000 if they need to come rescue. Multiple sign are available to advise people of these restriction. This has been so since 2017 after multiple injuries and two deaths in the past. The trail has two options, one that goes near the edge of the cliff and the other is a bit safer path. Nice to walk on the safer path of your with little children. The falls can be seen but it's not as appealing as it may have been once when you could go closer. There is parking available at the sight for easy access and a quick stop parking to view the falls. Please see the attached pictures.
Spectacular views all over this trip and falls worth the trip. Even though the city doesn't want you going to the bottom for very good reasons. The viewing area was perfect. The right lens and cameras will get you amazing views. Worth the trip as it was great, the trails and everything about the place. Very few people even on a holiday weekend we only passed a few groups of max 6 people. Plenty of free parking in a couple different spots and with others going in one direction at the falls we went in another direction. The views were over the top at this time of year with all the fall colors included I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone that enjoys fall, hiking, water falls. 10 Stars
It is a beautiful waterfall, and in summer & autumn, I believe it would look much more mesmerizing than it looked for us in spring. There is no public access to the base of waterfall, so one has to be content with views from viewing platform. You can park, in the parking lot, right at top of the fall and from there have a side view of the fall. Also, don’t forget to walk 2-3 minutes along the road to the lovers leap view point for the frontal view of the fall. There are many hiking trails around, which will finally take you down in the valley where the rive from the fall flows. For our hiking trip, the river crossing was the highlight of the day.
Been going here since I was a kid I grew up in the area. Alot has changed there since then, when it comes to safety and also new pathways for hiking. I love the Falls, there is plenty of parking, also a great spot for a first date. I enjoying biking through the trails in the nice weather they have awesome trails that are maintained. There is a few Outlook decks to see the Falls from a safe distance. If you explore around the area you will find your own favorite spot to go and relax. It's a nice place to go for a morning hike, or an evening date, or just relax and take in the scenery of the Falls.

Couldn't enjoy the full view of the falls as the path down to the falls was closed due to Covid-19 restrictions. So we have to enjoy the view that we could get from the viewing platforms. We didn't waste much time watching that view and moved on to the hike. There's a Bruce trail hike that runs along and also a main trail path. We took a path of our own cutting through both. Getting out to the road again was a steep uphill task as he had to take a shortcut off the path to reach our car. It was fun walking to the shade in between green trees. Would definitely return again next summer.
I chose to rate this a 5.5/10 It is not great, or worth the drive unless you have nothing better to do with your life. It's not unique, it's nothing revolutionary, it's not bad, it's just not. It's a waterfall, water falls on rocks from a stream, to a stream. Around 2 months of me writing this review, someone died when going down to the notion of the falls, so now it is blocked off and you can no longer enjoy going into the falls. The place has police watching who can give a fine of up to 10 thousand dollars. Have fun if you chose to go!
It’s a beautiful fall and parking is not an issue. It’s not crowded, at least not on the weekend we went. Lookout spot is where you can see the fall. We wanted to get closer to the fall but it was not permitted. A city security guard was present at the fall and he was making sure people are aware of the rules or else prepare to get a ticket. There was a 10-15 min trail but that’s really about it. I wish if we could have gone closer to the fall.

One of the more accessible falls within the city of Hamilton. Parking lots are plentiful but the one north of the falls is the easiest for people with mobility issues. Spring is best as the run off is heavier. Be sure to drive Mountain Brow Boulevard norths from the falls. the views of the lower city are wonderful. Spring is best as the trees do not block the view. For the younger set there are several hiking trails around Mount Albion Falls some of which lead into the valley. This is a nice place to spend an hour relaxing.
The location on Google takes you to the parking lot across from the falls. You need to park, walk across the road, then turn left. The falls are incredible, I used to come when they weren’t fenced off and it was really amazing to go into the water, now unfortunately, folks don’t wear proper hiking shoes or attire, and pose a high risk for injury. The falls are fenced in for this reason! I would call it a nature walk over a hike now but still worth going if you haven’t seen the majesty of nature that the falls offer!
See the pic. That's all you can see, from that distance. Police present there. Not allowed to go beyond the view point. You get this or similar view from other points of the trail. The rating is as a tourist spot and not about mother nature's beautiful creations! Parking is limited but easily available as anyone who comes there just to view the falls (and not go for a hike) won't spend more than 5 min there.

Had hiked earlier (at Eramosa Karst Conservation Area) with a friend who is local (she lives 10 minutes away--so jealous!) to the area and she wanted to show me the lookout point. It was getting too late for us to spend another hour hiking here so we took in the view of the falls instead-- an absolutely beautiful sight and framed by the fall foliage. Will have to return to this spot for a hike.

Was a nice quick stop and easy to see. Really nice waterfall just wish there was a way to get closer that was obviously not too dangerous or wouldn't get you into any trouble. Pretty big waterfall with a nice flow and I was able to find parking close by with no problem. I would for sure recommend you make the quick stop and are in passing. Especially if you enjoy seeing waterfalls!

An hour’s drive from Etobicoke leads you to Albion Falls. Hamilton houses several waterfalls in close vicinity and this fall though can’t be accessed closely is viewed better from two lookout points. Ample parking facilities. If time permits visit nearby falls too. Enjoy the small trail adjoining the falls site of half an hour to and fro. Though it doesn’t takes you to any falls, the exit at Devil’s cup bowl is interesting. Enjoy.
Albion Falls is absolutely stunning! The cascading water, surrounded by lush greenery, creates a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It's a perfect spot to relax and connect with nature. The sound of the rushing water is so soothing. I highly recommend visiting Albion Falls for a tranquil and picturesque experience.

Beautiful Falls...Wonderful Redhill Trail alongside....Free Parking.... Nice backwater if you follow the trail halfway.... Only downside is that you can't access the falls by going all the way to the down where the real fun is....you can only enjoy the fallsview by lookout points from a distance. and if you really want to go down the falls for the real experience, make sure you got 1000 $ as a fine....
It's probably the best waterfall that you'll find in Hamilton and it's picturesque no doubt, but when we visited this place couple of weeks back we found you're not allowed to go to the bottom of this waterfall, so you need to see this from a faraway distance, the way you see in these attached pictures. Btw the place has got quite a few parking spots and we faced no issues in that regard.
Decent falls viewing from 3 view points, but access to the bottom of the falls is not open to public by law and we didn't know this until we reached there, Every one is disappointed knowing this. Parking spaces are also very limited and summer weekends are extremely Crowded. We enjoyed the drive to the falls better than the falls viewing itself. Not much to explore there at the falls.
It’s a nice fall, but I think the season matters! We saw a smaller size fall from far. Good thing is parking available next to the look out, and almost no walking necessary. Very accessible for kids. We enjoyed the nice weather and greeneries around, there are some trail to walk more.

Beautiful views of the falls, it's a little far away but great look out point. The lookout point closest to the road (right one) has a better view of the waterfalls. The left viewing dock has a view of the Waterfall but more trees, which is beautiful in autumn. Parking is limited, however there's definitely more spots here than others. I believe it's free parking too.
It is a nice place to visit. There is another fall at the end of the trail which starts next to the Albion Falls, it was just okay. I would suggest to stop by the Mountain Brow East Lookout for a bird's eye view of the Hamilton city. You can park there for free and take a nice walk.

This place is great, and it's also close to other waterfalls if you're looking to see a bunch in one day. The falls are beautiful, and seeing them with the fall colors on the leaves make it magical ✨️. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, and we'll be back again.

The Falls itself is really good and has a small trail to wander. But Falls are now completely blocked by fencing. If you just want to see the view from far, it's worth it, but if you are one crazy adventures person like me who love to go up and down to the edge and feel the fall, you'll be disappointed as they blocked the access to the falls with max fine of 10k.
One of the popular hike in Hamilton. The river flow is not strong this month. Both paid Parking and free parking are available. The best viewing place is at the opposite of the fall. The trail is short, less than 6km and easy. The access point is Oak Knoll Park parking lot, Mountain Brow Boulevard. A beautiful trail with nice forest and lots of birds.
Very convinient to visit this Waterfall, there are 2 parking lots on each sides, 3 view points to take photos for the fall. There is a Trail beside it, and a lot Masquito fly around to target your blood. Be aware not to cross over the fence, even though they block the good photography opportunity, but they keep you safe from fall down to the valley.
this beautiful waterfall is closed on the lower platform. everything is surrounded by a fence, nothing can be seen from above. only a small part is visible from above. why do you cover all the beauty of the waterfall, you need to look at it only from below. our trip did not bring any pleasure, all the waterfalls are not accessible, or partially.
Beautiful falls, with nice overlook points. Amazing autumn foliage in the background made for a wonderful view! There are hiking trails that I’m sure will eventually take you down to the base of the falls. It was good enough for me to see from on top tho.

A very nice smaller size fall. There are a couple of viewpoints which are easily accessible with a good view. However access to base of the fall is covered with a potential $10K fine for people who will jump the fence. They have enforcement officers roaming around so mu advice is to stick to the trails
The falls are great to explore in autumn. Unfortunately it is not easily accesible and the nearby trail is surrounded by a road so it is not connected to anything. There are several parking lots and it's free. Very convenient and accessible of the highway and there is transit nearby.
Nice scenery and fall view from top. Guys please don’t attempt to go to the bottom of the falls. Although you maybe able to walk up there but warnings can’t be missed and you “will” actually get a ticket. We saw one group getting fined in front of us while they were coming back.
The trails that are alongside this fall are really nice but as a visitor spot it might be a bit underwhelming atleast during spring season. We took public transport and the bus drops you close to this spot but almost an hour journey from downtown Hamilton wasn't worth it.
Beautiful waterfall with observation decks. A nice trail surrounding the gorge. Ensure to wear the right foor wear when sub zero as the trail can get slippery. Getting down to the base is prohibited I suppose with a $10,000 fine. Good for a day time excursion. …
Beautiful view of the waterfall from Lover's Leap, much better than from the crest of the falls. The trail is not wheelchair or stroller friendly though, and you need good shoes, not sandals or flip-flops: there is roots, rocks, drops, steep ascents and descents.
Splendid falls with multiple trails leading down towards the valley. Only thing i suggest is be very careful going up and down the steep trails and it may be difficult to bring children and the elderly. Abundant parking spots in multiple lots around the falls.
A gorgeous waterfall and a fairly easy hike! We went early in the morning, around 9am and there was literally no one there. We walked along the water until we reached the falls (the path is narrow so watch your step!) And it was maybe a 1 hour walk round trip.
Nice area with nearby parking. Not too crowded. There are trails leading to the waterfalls. There is also a giant set of steps all the way down with a nice view of the city.

Nice and quiet area, the viewpoint is a good place. Parking is okay. Falls are far from the parking, through trails, which are quite dangerous for children. Not advisable during dark evenings.

We were searching for waterfalls near by Toronto and stumbled upon this beautiful waterfall. The view is fascinating and their is a trail to look from nearby. But there is no access to go downstairs. Limited Car parking is available.
The fall is beautiful, unfortunately there's no access to go close to it. You got a couple of viewpoints a little far away to see the fall.

It certainly is worth the drive to Albion Park wherein I and my friend enjoyed a long walk in its trail which I read extends up to 900 km. Wow!! We didn’t go that far. But we certainly enjoyed the scenery, going through the woods
Amazing day to be out chasing waterfalls after a rainy couple of days. I have been to Albion before, but today was special indeed. Lots of water after the rains and it made for spectacular viewing from the 2 look out platforms.
You get to see the falls from afar. The trail that goes to the falls is closed. There is a viewing platform and you can watch the falls from there. There is a another trail which leads to the second falls, but nothing great!
The fall is gorgeous. But you can watch it from quite a distance. Also, there's nothing like a trek there. Though there's a trail opposite to the fall where you can have a bike ride. Other than that nothing much to see. More
Great trails with lots of different views. Some areas were a little tricky to navigate, but eventually we would find a trail blaze marking the way. A few spots were pretty steep to climb, but overall a very enjoyable hike.
We hiked there from Red hill valley trail. The trail is a little bit confusing but it’s fun specially when you have some company.

Nice place to hang around and take some spectacular photos. Lot's of walk if you want to see waterfall closely. It's fun to walk with group though. Take some food and water with you if you're walking down to the fall.
One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Hamilton. Parking was free and no reservation was needed. There's couple of lookout point.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to get too close to the waterfall and were only able to look at it from a distance. I must say it is still worth a visit if you are in the area and want a little break.
It was a good time, just there is not way to go down the falls, so you just can see them from to top, any way is was really nice view, and the nature in November is so beautiful. Go and enjoy it.
Albion Falls one of our favorite places to go for a walk, the kids love it there, although sometimes the parking lot can be extremely busy.

Can't get close to the waterfalls (not legally anyway) so that kind of sucks, but the trails and scenery are nice. Good place for a hike but don't expect to be wowed by the waterfall.

This is the most regulated place in nature I've ever been to. It felt like walking beside an electrical generator plant, seeing all the no trespassing signs threatening 10K fines.
One of the best waterfalls in Hamilton, can't wait until the new viewing platform is built.

A beautiful waterfall but unfortunately due to some incident, lately the access has been closed which is so sad, but safely comes first :)
Another beautiful hike in this area. Started on King Street and went straight up to fall. Had ruined heavily but was still doable
Unfortunately the falls are closed for public, except for few view points, but bcoz of the trees it's barely visible. More
Beautiful place, reasonable parking if you are there early, lots of hiking trails in this area.

Albion falls was great. They had a nice walking trail. The Fall us were gorgeous we saw the smaller devils punchbowl.
Great family spot in the summer or winter! A beautiful waterfall with trails that lead to the bottom. More
unfortunately you can not get close to the waterfall and there are no places to rest.
