"OVERALL; Such a beautiful stadium that sits on top of a hill"
"The staff we interacted with was kind and friendly"
"Great stadium! I’ve been here several times and the seats in the 200s are the best"
"Okay so TCU stadium is getting a new look"
"This was my first visit to see TCU play football and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised"
OVERALL; Such a beautiful stadium that sits on top of a hill. If you need ADA accommodations, I would explore the map of the facilities before arriving. Parking surrounds the stadium, but the majority of it is off limits, I would advise parking at Doxology church and taking the shuttle. Frog Alley starts on Stadium Drive, btw CONS: Needs heating and cooling stations. The majority of this stadium is opened and cemented it would be useful to have something combat the extreme Texas temperatures. Dress appropriately. Go Frogs!!
The staff we interacted with was kind and friendly. The general areas and bathrooms were clean. Short line at consessions when we went. The scoreboards are a little older but they work so not a big deal. I did like that the smaller scoreboard kept showing stats of the game. Oh and the big screen would show many camera angles of a penalty. Maybe similar to what the referee sees? I liked that since you don't always get that when watching in person. (The refs weren't great but that's another review. :) )
Great stadium! I’ve been here several times and the seats in the 200s are the best. The 300s require you to wait forever for the elevator or use the ridiculously long ramps to get to the top. The view of Fort Worth from the top is beautiful though! Parking can be a pain. Several churches nearby charge about $20 to use their lot, which is only a few blocks away. There is also a shuttle for free lots far away. The Uber area can be ridiculous as well. Plan on taking your time getting out after the game.
Okay so TCU stadium is getting a new look. Lots of construction going on. SO PARKING FOR FOOTBALL GAMES STARTING IN AUGUST PEOPLE. if you need parking. There is some at St Stephen church also Travis church Pascal high school. buses run to and from game. TRAVIS LOT IS FREE. No hassle trying to find parking. Just pull in and get on the bus. Don't forget your tip money., The drivers will appreciate it . Make sure you have a clear see through bag or you can't get in. See you there. GO FROGS.
This was my first visit to see TCU play football and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The venue is amazing. It felt clean and updated. The food was good and there were plenty of options. No fans were out of control. Overall an excellent experience and I highly recommend going to a game here. For what it’s worth, my wife also had an awesome time. She thought it was interesting that the student dress up so nicely for the games so be prepared to dress well when you go.
This is the home stadium of #TCU . Their facilities are top rate for service and atmosphere, which is always warm and welcoming to all guest and their families. It is a natural grass playing surface, with great viewing from every seat (including plenty of ADA spaces with adjacent guest seating), however if you sit behind the student section be aware that we stand for the entire game and it gets loud. Welcome to "Hell's Half Acre"!!
Amon G. Carter stadium Nice open stadium, grass field, small walking areas. Not enough concessions. But it's an updated version so that's an improvement. Well not a good day for fans, Buffalos came to play. The stadium again, was nice. Con: Parking still not adequate for stadium attendees. Not sure if it'll get corrected. "Years of neglecting parking". Get there very early to find seating and beat traffic.
An open-air football stadium that was built in 1929 for TCU FOOTBALL. Update upon update over the years. Then a total reconstruction started in 2019 and completed in 2012. Seats over 46,000. The field is a Bermuda grass turf. Large concourses with plenty of bathrooms. TCU Football store on game days. Parking is all around the stadium. Home to the Armed Forces Bowl.
Very nice and clean stadium. My only gripe is the TCU tour gal said they are no longer attached to the church so they prefer TCU rather than Texas Christen University, kinda like KFC. Also a huge disparity of girls vs boys and of the few boys that you see on campus seem to be soy boys with hair buns.
Always a good time in frogland! Sonny Dykes does such a great job of making it a friendly environment. Mrs. Dykes are wonderful as well. Great coaching staff, Maxwell does a great job him and Chauncey holding a spiritual balance of the kids.. love everything going on at TCU FOOTBALL …
One of my personal pleasures is visiting Div 1 CFB stadiums when traveling to cities with division 1 football programs. I have visited quite a few stadiums and this one is beautiful and located in a pretty impressive area. So far this one ranks in my Top 15 (far above Baylor and SMU.
Great stadium and conveniently located near a bunch of good restaurants. The stadium is well kept, a ton of history, and the seats have a perfect view of the whole field. Highly recommend if you are in the area to catch an event there. I'm looking forward to the football season.
Have been coming to the Carter since I was a little kid. Seeing it grow and develop over the past 20yrs has been magical. From kid to undergrad to alum, the stadium has become unique and state-of-the-art. Never a bad seat. Come see a game whenever you can. Go Frogs!!!
Nice Stadium. Perhaps the TCU fans don't appreciate it, since it was no where near a sellout. Some of the pictures are well before the game, and don't reflect the attendance. Find a free parking lot, where they bus you to the game. It is very convenient, and Free!
Nice night for a great game. Last second field goal by army for the win over Missouri. Ample seating lots of vending except carry at least 1 IPA for beer selections. Like they big screen to watch while team was at the other end of the field.
My son was invited as a recruit for their game against Baylor on 11/6. The facility was awesome and the whole production from the big team entrance, the helicopter flyover, the band and performances, etc. made for a wonderful experience!
This is considered more of a "mid-sized" college stadium with about a 47,000 attendance limit (although one TCU vs Utah game had attendance of 50k) and since its that size most seats have pretty good views. Concessions here are pretty
Love the new look Amon Carter. You get that great college football experience. I have been a fan for 40 plus years, in the area for 53 years I am so proud of the growth that TCU has become. Love my TCU HORN FROGS. Thank you TCU
First time to this stadium. Really nice and the staff was friendly. Getting in and out is a bit tricky, so plan ahead. Uber is tough, as police shut down the roads, making it difficult to find your driver. Great experience!
They are upgrading facilities, but traffic flow walking through the stadium is great. Fabulous selection of concessions (try the Berries On A Stick! AND they have Dwell Coffee and Biscuits!!! (for your Best Day Ever!!)
Such a great stadium! We went here for the armed forces bowl and it was awesome. The stadium is SUPER clean! All of the staff was beyond nice as well. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to go back for more games
Visited right after the beat michigan in the Fiesta bowl as the team was arriving back on campus. Seems like a very clean stadium and would be a fun place to come watch a game. Area around the stadium is awesome.
New seat pads are awful. I have been season ticket holder for years.. They are the most uncomfortable seats. Worse than the metal seats. Mine in on a bar and have not room at all. Cancelling my seats pads today.
1st trip to stadium. We had a blast nice looking place. Side note be early and don't be surprised if you have to park in someone's front yard which made the experience even better can't Togo back.
Fun stadium. Attended for armed forces bowl and it was a great experience. Concessions and seats are easily accessible. Sun hits the visiting side and the seats are better on the hone team side.
The stadium itself is nice but trying to find parking is awful. (Unless you are willing to spend $40-$60) I will say the overall layout of the stadium is not as nice as others we have been to.
Absolutely beautiful stadium. It is easy to navigate and walk around, and everything is pretty easy to get to. It's cool to learn the history and facts from around the stadium!
Happy to report that the vibe here was good! TCU fams were respectful of Texas fans (at least in our section/ what I experienced walking around). And they sell alcohol.
Very clean restrooms. Stadium staff were courteous and helpful. Attended Armed Forces Bowl. Very impressed with the patriotism and respect for military personnel.
Went to see my nephew play. Awesome time. Only complaint is that tickets set aside for players should seats that are together. Families come from out of town.
Great stadium for a TCU game or the Armed Forces Bowl. TCU has a happy hour of sorts with reduced food and drink prices which makes it easier on families.
Been to many a stadium. This one possess a classic feel. Enough eats and seats for the fans. Loved all the women in cowgirl boots. Best part.
Love the atmosphere here better to eat off the strip before coming into the game prices are decent they give you a lot of food for the price
Nice, clean stadium. Traffic can be a killer getting out of a game, other than that it was great. Went there for one of the bowl games.
A great place to watch a college football game. Lots of concessions with a wide variety of food. The rest rooms are clean and numerous
Game Day at Amon Carter Stadium Colorado Buffaloes & Coach Prime take on the TCU horned frogs!!!! #Colorado Buffs for the BIG WIN!!!!!
One of my favorite stadiums... good prices... seats.... just need so.e help directing traffic. Armed Forces bowl game was fantastic.
The stadium it’s good, get early because they have happy hour $3dlls some beers !!!!! but the pretzels are the worst!!!!!!!!! …
Beautiful stadium. Great atmosphere. Got killed by the Frogs but as a visitor had a great time. I thought that TCU fans were great.
Huge stadium. Lots of seating available. Wheelchair accessible seating available as well. Saw TCU vs Baylor , great game. Sic 'em!
Amazing student staff members working games. This young lady was helpful and very professional when assisting my guest and I.
Watched the 2021 Armed forces Bowl Army v. Missouri. Army won. But was an awesome experience..we will be attended every year
TCU games are great fun! No matter who they play, a stadium full of fans is an experience worth sharing. FEAR THE FROG!
The ticket prices were good, the food was reasonably priced, the line moved quickly, and the stadium is new and clean.
The new stadium is very nice. Easy to navigate. I also appreciate they take mobile payments for the concession stand.
Went for the spring season game 2023. Very clean and food was decent. Great sound and screens.
Great modern venue to watch college football. Great tailgate scens and game time experience.
Outdoor stadium. Check website for current bag policies. Pregame tailgates are fantastic!
Had a great time at the game!! The tailgate section is awesome!
Great place to watch a football game and enjoy family.
Great atmosphere on game day. Place is electric!
