"The place is good for grabbing a quick coffee and if you're on the go"
"A long overdue review cause I’ve literally been coming to this cafe every day for 2 years and i love it so so much"
"Analog is definitely one of my favourite places to go! Although it’s a little small, it is located in just the perfect corner of 17 avenue"
"Ordered one latte and one brewed coffee and one croissant, waited for 30 mins to get the latte, and yet they forgot the brewed coffee till we reminded them, and it’s just the brewed coffee, that’s another 10 mins, not mention the croissant felt like overnight hard, was really surprised by the terribly slowest service compared to how fancy the cafe is"
"The service is fast; the coffee is just meh"
The place is good for grabbing a quick coffee and if you're on the go. Seated inside the store during after lunch hours to grab a coffee. I was amazed on the look of their apple cinnamon bun. So I had to try it! and also their Donut + Croissant = Cronut. I liked the Cronut, it gave a semi crispy exterior and soft inside. But it wasn't heated, more less just cold. The Cinnamon bun was a little under whelming. It looked really good hot and tasty, but the bun itself was a little bland. I would've preferred if the sugar was pre melted into the bun like traditionally. But it looked for the camera. Their coffee beans are good with milk and sugar, although I just ordered it black as I like it that way.

A long overdue review cause I’ve literally been coming to this cafe every day for 2 years and i love it so so much. The employees are literally the best. They’re soo friendly, their coffee is by far my favourite, the chai is the matcha is amaaazing. OH AND i love their cranberry scones!! And breakfast sandwiches.. I love studying here, i love sitting on their patio, I honestly just think its the best cafe in town. They are all just so so kind ,to me and my dog, (yes they are dog friendly ). all in all, just fantastic service I highly recommend.

Analog is definitely one of my favourite places to go! Although it’s a little small, it is located in just the perfect corner of 17 avenue. Perfect atmosphere to have a nice conversation or study. Out of all of the coffee shops I’ve gone to; Analog’s coffee is definitely in my top 3 (with regards to flavour). 1. Very clean 2. AMAZING coffee 3. On 17 avenue 4. Very good desserts and food 5. During the summer, they offer outdoor seating and it’s the BEST! Find parking around; it can be tough during rush hours. I always get: 1. Cappuccino with honey 2. Mocha 3. Espresso

I think the latte was ok, as the location and the vibe.

The service is fast; the coffee is just meh. Not particularly strong or sweet or containing any much flavour at all. Almost watery. I've tried various drinks on 3 separate occasions, the shop being right by my house, but ended up tossing all of them. Worth it to just walk a bit further to one of the many other good spots along 17th. Seems pretty popular though; it's always busy, so maybe it's just not to my taste.

It was busy and was just observing while I was waiting for my coffee and the amount of milk was waisted by the lady just broke my heart….. she could make 2 whole coffees out of what she waisted in 3 cups…. Also when one of them was making my coffee I asked her to put less ice and the lady who was frothing the milk for latte gave me a racist and sarcastic smile in an insulting way……..

Great coffee shop. Had a seasonal drink called amber latte (Maple & cinnamon & honey latte) it was SOO GOOF. The cronut was pretty mediocre though. Much better 1s out there n NOT worth $6.5 DAMMM. They do say the pastries r from a local Bakery, so it's really not their fault. Staff was awesome, and the espresso bar visual/atmosphere was great. Def a reccomend for coffee.

Located on very busy tourist friendly road @ 17th Avenue SW in Calgary. Went in the evening to have coffee. Cafe was busy but server was fast and friendly. Cafe was nicely decorated and kept clean. Coffee was good too. Most of the bakery items available there was sweet, my only suggestion is too have some salty items available as well. Paid under $7 for two cups of coffee. Recommended.

One is the most exciting coffees I have ever had in Calgary. The taste was not bitter from burning the coffee in the machine (the most common taste around), the milk foam was just exactly perfect and the food just right. Thank you for the great service as well! Strongly recommend. Update on June 2020: even during the restart from the pandemic, the coffee does not disappoint. Must go place to grab a coffee and seatting outdoors.
Excellent dark roast coffee, probably the nicest I've had other than being at home. An interesting place to sit, take in the atmosphere and "people watch" the eclectic clientele. There is an Indigo car park next to the bank opposite and across the road.

Went in tonight around 6 p.m, it was still pretty busy so I took my drink to go. The Chai Tea Latte was pretty good. It was smooth and nicely made, it only took about 5 minutes. I was served by a blonde lady and gentleman with glasses. Both were super kind. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Prices range from $2.75 - 5.85 (dependent on drink and size). This place is in a prime location which also means constant traffic and line ups. The service is good but will take a tad longer when it comes to making your latte -esque drinks. I do enjoy the flavouring profile of the beans here as it doesn't taste generic either. Pre covid times, it would be hard to find seating here because it gets that busy.
This is a great little place. Often hard to find a seat inside. Their pour over Coffees are world renowned. I always have a soy Latte and it is delicious. Can't comment too much on the food but it looks nice.

Nice place. Latte is good. Music is a bit over powering, which makes it difficult to carry conversations. And so, the patrons get that much louder to compensate. The decor is quite nice, gives it a typical older cafe vibe. They got quite a collection of vinyl in the back. The equipment looks fairly modern. They seem to rely more on equipment based dosing, as opposed to weight based dosing.
We walked along 17th Ave and came across Analog Coffee. The atmosphere was nice. There was a neighborhood charm. The latte, cappuccino and matcha latte were made well. The pastries were yummy. Service great. My only complain was that the baked goods were not warmed up a bit. Highly recommend here though.

Rude staff that clearly don’t want to be there, and the best part is when they flip their iPad around and ask for a 22% tip. Got charged for alternative milk to put in an americano which I have never experienced before. I understand upcharging for alt milks in a latte or cappuccino, but never for an inch of cold oat milk.

Great coffee in a vibrant, trendy cafe setting. The staff are friendly, helpful and really know their coffee. If you prefer, they have tea and hot chocolate available too. There are both indoor or outdoor seating options available, or you can take your drink to go and enjoy the park across the street. Definitely recommended.

I’m visiting from out of town and have been trying a few cafes in the area and this one I’m rating my number 1. I lived in Melbourne for a few months where I had some of the best tasting coffee and I thought this coffee was up there. I’d recommend 5/5

My daughter goes to school at Western (just over the road) and I occasionally have to pick her up. When I do I always make a point of arriving early so I can get a flat white from Analog Coffee. Excellent! My favourite place in town.

EXCELLENT COFFEE!!!☕ Great place to grab a cup to go for a walk down 17th Ave. Not a lot of space to sit but a couple outside tables, if your able to get one, are nice on a hot day Usually pretty busy. Service was excellent, they were out of gift card sleeves and offered to put it in a small cup with some coffee beans. Very nice touch!
It's cute inside but I'd recommend you getting your coffee to go cause it's really tight. Food options are limited but they have sweets if you want to pair your coffee. Their Nutella pastry was really disappointing. It looked so good and Nutella so how could it wrong right? The chunk of Nutella was the best part I ended up tossing quite a bit.
Despite the lack of seating at peak times and on weekends (so hopefully you get lucky!), this is one of my favourite cafes in the city. They always have insta-worthy lattes, delicious baked goods, and the baristas are friendly and happy! I’m not a huge coffee drinker, so I can attest to the quality of their tea and other lattes.
Had a hot chocolate. Service was good and neat. But the hot chocolate was not as much as I expected from a specialty drink shop. Place get pretty crowded. I hope they will play the LPs that they have in the store instead of playing the radio.

Comfortable atmosphere and nice staff. I liked the decor of the records on the wall. Latte was smooth. I had a flat white with regular milk. Not my usual favorite coffee bean but beats Starbucks any day. Croissants were flakey and not dry or flimsy. Overall a relaxed environment and good coffee if you around the area.

Popped in for a quick lunch, a turkey club sandwich and latte. The food and coffee were great. Even though it was lunch hour and busy, service was quick and the staff were friendly. There was a display counter of baked-gods, which I did not try, but will be back again to sample. Highly recommend.
Staff are friendly. The reason of 2 stars review is because the espresso is traditionally served in small cartoon cups, not the 8oz cup. This behaviour is a waste of resources, espresso fits in a small cup which consumes less materials, while here they are using big cups.
Beautiful coffee shop in downtown Calgary. I had a cup of delicious pour over coffee from Bolivia with very nice fruity taste and chocolate after notes. The staff is very friendly and the interior is beautiful. Stimulating environment for creatives and artists.
This place gets super crowded and is really popular. By far one of my favourite coffee shops in Calgary. Has a great atmosphere and is very cozy. My favourite drink is the chai tea latte with a double espresso shot. Has a variety of different drinks and food.
Analog is cute and they have great coffee. That's why it's always so busy. If you see a lineup then you can expect a wait if you order anything other than a drip.

One of my fave stops for Java in Calgary. A staple visit on 17th Ave. They take so much time to craft their beverages. Great customer service and love the chill vibe. There's a lot of options on the 17th Ave strip but this is always a reliable pit stop.
Beautiful ambience with amazing collection of music. Staffs are really friendly and good. Good place to enjoy a beverage and spend some time, we can take our laptop, work or read our novel there. All in all, one of the good cafés.

specifically asked for a matcha latte very clearly and was given an oat latte. Didn’t wanna say anything because of how rude the staff was, seems like the girl did not wanna be there. Overrated place imo.

We're actually thinking of a nice law suit my lawyer who has NEVER lost a case yet says with all the unnecessary police harassment caught on cell phone and the cell footage of owner chasing me around Tomkins Park it's look good ...it looks
@analogcoffeeyyc featuring Lemon Assam Iced Tea! It’s a great summer refreshment for all the hot summer days for sure! Also, the staff at @analogcoffeeyyc was super friendly and nice too! Can’t wait to try their other handcrafted iced teas!
I experimented with this store (Analog) because they served us at my office on the 3rd. Turns out it is wildly different. The same coffee I had at the other place was better. The staff here seemed unhappy to see me which is not a problem
I’m struggling to appreciate the contrast between Starbucks and Analog Coffee; in a market that’s becoming increasingly more saturated I found that Analog Coffee offered nothing special, in fact LESS options than Starbucks, and to me it
This is a top notch coffee shop! I've been coming here every couple of weeks to enjoy a latte, or on occasion, a dirty chai(chai tea with a shot of espresso and it's a game changer). Located on trendy and bumping 17 Ave, there's always
First of all the customer service is amazing, Rory and Jaylen are two amazing baristas, I came two yes only to the store and my famous statement is "make me your favorite drink. Rory(hot) and Jaylen (cold) but also hot... :)
Went here with my sister and her friend. Nice space to sit and talk and has nice service. Friend said the drinks were great and I totally agree.

Fantastic iced latte in a clean, trendy coffee shop. There are plenty of space to work, sit, and socialize. The coffee is incredible. There are limited baked goods. The bathrooms were clean, but password protected. More
Based on the modern chic coffee shop vibe y’all are presenting I assumed you’d make a proper matcha.. breakfast sandwich was good but nothing like a nice mouthful of matcha powder pellets to ruin the moment More
Love the coffee, vibe and location. One of the best places to get coffee in YYC. You can usually expect a line. While grabbing your coffee, there are lots of great treats and baked goods from Corbeaux Bakery.
One of the few coffee places which are open till late ! Loved the coffee and the atmosphere around . It’s hip enough and still place enough to sit .

Great coffee, normal patrons is more the stereotypical niche coffee crowd, or 17th Ave community. Food is actually good, I will say can't remember the price but it was more than Tims or McDonald's.
Slowest coffee place I’ve been to in Calgary. Staff seems to be spaced out most of the time. Smdh bad feeling in a spot that’s supposed to feel warm.

Nice ambient! I liked hanging out by the window and enjoying the vivid 17th ave while working with my laptop. But the coffee wasn’t my favorite. More
Average drinks and the baked goods (muffins, etc) were not fresh at all - they tasted quite old. :/ The atmosphere of the place is cute tho.
Went here for coffee and some croissants. The coffee was amazing as usual and the croissants were great too. A bit on the pricy side though.
Exceptional coffee with great quality in all their coffee drinks. Great atmosphere, holds a European style at times during summer months.
