I have received my house insurance in the mail this is the email I sent to Louis Chui on 02/16/2019 after filling out the list to get me the best rate. He still hasn't return or called. Wait till April said Pat. This is the email that voices my concerns. To Louis If you are trying to save me money - why did my property insurance go up by $569.00. $1276.00 - $707.00 = $569.00 I have all the discount -claims free on everything including vehicles. Hate to see what my vehicle insurance will be. Tracey Topping # had to give a star to be able to post I really am disappointed in this company that my deceased husband used. Really do not trust their explanation for everything, including that I was not being accused of the accident my husband had perished in. It should not show up on my policy at all. Everything keeps going up. When told I should look for another insurance company. I made the mistake of not contacting them to tell them I would like a letter from the company insisting that during my 11 years with the company I was claims free. I made the mistake of phoning them on July 19 about a leak from my bathroom above my front door ceiling, have cleared the claim, when I told them I wanted a letter stating that they sent me to the adjuster, which I did not know his (ext.) figures. Emailed him to phone me still waiting for call. I would like a Claims Experience Letter as requested by IBC as nobody seems to phone me. Still waiting since July 13 from Greta. I cancelled this insurance company but they still continue to take money from me as of Aug 20, 2020. Still getting the big run-around from both AON and RSA who is to blame? I can only suggest look around for a better insurance company as I am now insured with a different insurance company. Give you excuses for money being taken out of your account.

At this time if would have to give them a "ZERO" but unfortunately here I am not allowed to give "ZERO" starrrs. I had cancelled my policy because I found a better rate elsewhere. They removed a payment from my account after receiving my cancellation letter. They say they received not soon enough before the funds were due to be removed. When I was finally able to get someone on the phone, they told me it would be 5 days to clear the bank and I would have my money back in 10 days. It has now been almost "50 Days" and I have not received any money back yet. I have sent numerous emails and have no replies. I have phoned and after being on hold for over an hour I hung up. I would NOT recommend Aon Reed to anyone if this is the type of customer service they give. So, the next day I get a response to this posting, but not to any of my emails that I have sent. I am asked to phone to office to discuss. Sorry, but the last few times I did phone the office I was on hold for over an hour. I am a working person and cannot sit by a phone all day hoping someone answers the phone. Long story short, Aon Reed owes me money as I had noted above. I have sent emails that nobody reads or it goes straight to trash. You do your part and send me my money, along with an interest penalty for taking so long. I am sure if I was still with you and did not make a payment on time, you would charge a penalty. Well, now I want a penalty paid to me for you taking so long.

We have been with Aon since 2016 and my early experience with them was excellent. The brokers were very helpful and responsive, they found us great rates on insurance and I had no concerns making short notice changes to policies. Something drastic happened over Covid-19 that caused this business to go significantly downhill. They are completely unreachable by phone which now goes to a voicemail (during regular business hours). If you are lucky to receive a reply to your voicemail at all, it is often several days or weeks later and it is through email rather than a phone call. In the emails they have a difficulty understanding what you require and you are often waiting for long periods of time to get anything accomplished. In my situation, when they finally did reply and make changes to my policy, they did so incorrectly and cancelled a vehicle I no longer required to be cancelled. This mistake however fortunately helped me discover they had also forgotten to remove a vehicle from our policy 4 months after we sold it, despite sending a copy of the bill of sale and providing evidence that I had spoken with them on that day. They have not responded at all to my request for reimbursement for these additional insurance charges and this is very frustrating. I hate posting reviews like this but feel like I will not receive any response without it. This company is absolutely brutal to deal with and I recommend everyone steer clear.

I have been with Reed for over 25 years. I would of strongly recommended them years ago but I find that I cannot do that anymore. Over the last 3 years, I have found very mixed reactions when I have called. One good example is that I found a mistake on the policy. When I reported it, the rep did not believe me and would not help. I ended up calling back again and this time the rep checked the transaction history and found changes that I made previously were incorrectly entered by them. If this was isolated incident, I could let it pass but it isn't. When I have called, I get the impression that I am inconveniencing them with my questions. Part of the problem I think is with their system as it does not seem to allow "what if" type scenarios easily. I have asked for clarification on policy but was not provided written verification, its just been all verbal. I find the website for Aon and in my case Traders very lacking compared to other insurance companies. Customer service has taken a big hit in my opinion. Why am I still with them then? It has become such that their rates used to be superior to others but it is not the case anymore. Either similar or even more $ which was never the case. I hate the idea of switching but I don't think loyalty matters to this company any more.

I have been with AON as brokers for more than 3 years and throughout this time, I had good and bad experiences. I think it really depends on who you get on the call. Some people were helpful and courteous and some where unhelpful and made mistakes that cost me money. I do think they need to work quite a bit on the quality of the customer service they provide. In my last experience, adding another vehicle to the policy, the person at AON I talked to gave me wrong information that led to me purchasing the vehicle without the required safety inspection. When I went to finalize the addition of this vehicle, I was told that I do need the inspection. If I knew that, I would have structured my purchase in quite a different way and the purchase price would be different. On that second call, we established that the original person I spoke to "just made a mistake" and the response that I got from the clerk was "oh well, what can we do?". Quite unprofessional. Will consider switching to a different broker.

I’ve been with Aon for several years and unfortunately they have become a poor service provider. I have several auto policies with them, and every time I have called in within the past 2 years errors occur. When calling in to make a change to add liability coverage to a vehicle, I find out on a call the following week that liability coverage was not applied. They still mail out changes to policies which is a way of the past, and not a quick or efficient way to catch mistakes should they occur. Their continual excuse is that “Making multiple changes to a policy can result in errors”. I don’t know what these people are being paid to do, but they lack the qualifications or know how to get the job done. I would strongly advise against using them. I will be shopping around for another insurance provider that can make prompt changes accurately so my life and my assets are covered.

I was surprised to see the negative reviews, so I have to share our experience. We have been customers for at least 17 years and have no complaints at all. We have multiple vehicles, our house, and some specialty items insured through Aon (including the transition from one house to another we were renovating). We've only had one collision claim (~2.5 years ago), and it was handled efficiently and fairly. Any time I have called to make policy changes or ask questions, the agents have been professional and patient. I had checked rates before we switched to Aon, and they were far less than our professional organization group insurance at that time. I have also checked online rates a couple of times, and our rates with Aon were still less or the same. I have been quite happy with Aon, and we have no reason to consider moving to another company.

Such a rip off company. You cant even park your car for 3 or 4 months. They jack the rate up after it to 'pay off the difference' in the policy even though you didn't USE it for 3 or 4 months. So it doubles or triples your insurance after that. (not sure if its the same else where, as this is my first insurnace company, but its devestated me.) Plus if you want to cancel its $800!! I agree that customer service is rude...plus i swear there must be like 1 person in the whole office. EVERY time i call i end up waiting 10-20 minutes to talk to someone! This is the worst mistake of my car insurnace life. Never going with this company again...cant wait till my policy is over. DO NOT get insurnace through this company!! Save yourself!

This company since day one has been a joke to me. After we got our quote and signed on it took them 2 extra months to send our car insurance papers. And now have raised our payments from our quote because THEY were delayed. So now I pay more. On-top of this when we signed on I needed my vehicle commercial. So when trying to get that switched (which took almost 2 weeks of emails and calls to finally get a straight answer) they want me to pay to cancel my vehicle to move it to Commercial. So again I am paying for their screw up Avoid this company. I've had nothing but headaches with them since day one. It will take weeks to hear from someone and they will dance around the questions until it's too late.

Their customer service is a joke. It took half a year and multiple calls before they removed a vehicle that i sold from my policy. They over charged me for half a year - still waiting on my refund! Whenever I call it's long wait times on the phone to talk to someone. I've then been disconnected in a transfer to then wait another half hour to talk to someone. When I finally was getting my policy changed her computer "froze". She had me email her so she could continue the process after her computer was back and she never replied and contacted me. They are a joke. I've moved to TD insurance and recommend you check them out instead.

What a brutal company to get insurance with. If got a $1 for every moment I was on hold I would be a millionaire......wrong quotes, slow service. I have been trying to get my policy changed for over 4 months to know avail. My broker and her supervisor can't be bothered to return calls in a timely manor or at all. Out of frustration I called the underwriter directly, got the information I needed. When I asked if she could change it directly, she mentioned I would have to deal with the broker. When I gave her some of my timelines the underwriter stated "get another broker, that is ridiculous". I am out, enough is enough.

I called to cancel my home insurance because I sold my house. Instead of cancelling and refunding me my money they wrote up a new policy for the place I am temporarily staying in for 30 days (which I told them was simply a mailing address until I get possession of a new home) So instead of getting my money back I was billed more money. I've been dealing with this for 1.5 MONTHS and they still can't figure out what they did wrong or how to fix it. Cancelling ALL of my insurance because they have terrible customer service!

Leaving this Insurance company. Was with them for multiple years and then out of nowhere had super short notice on renewing my policy with a long and complicated application form which I had to call and get some lady to walk me through filling it out. Faxed them the form with 1 small thing missing and after waiting for weeks they completely denied my application with no option to fix the mistake I made in the application. Dont waste your time here. Also ridiculous wait times on the phone. Such a hassle and bad service.

This company does not even deserve a one star, We have been with them for over 20 years but somewhere along the line they have made terrible changes. Amongst many other concerns with them, for the last three years we have not received our yearly automatic updated vehicle insurance slips, even after notifying them each time we are not a General Delivery in a certain town but have moved. We ended up canceling our house and boat insurance with them and now I'm feeling we should cancel the auto insurance as well

I’ve been a customer of Aon Reed Stenhouse for so long I honestly can’t tell you… many decades. What I can tell you is that for as long as I’ve been their customer I’ve had consistent, exceptional service. Always prompt, very short wait times, always with a knowledgeable, polite, accommodating agent with quick access to my account and quick resolution whether it be adding, adjusting or removing coverage or just answering my dumb questions. Very bad service they keep switching me around and i am on the phone for 2 hours still not get my answer. They said they will send me the cheque with my credit but its been 7months still i wont get anything. Something wrong with my visa they couldnt except the money but they never call me back to let me know left me lived in my place for almost 2weeks without insurance. I can not wait for my car insurance done so i wont go back to them anymore very bad custumer service.

Have been dealing with Aon Reed Stenhouse for over 35 years and have had nothing but great service. I have done my due diligence checking the cost of insurance else where and have always found Aon to be competitive and their service worth our loyalty. Anytime we have needed their assistance for a policy or a claims related issue we were treated fairly and in a timely matter. Typically I usually deal with Pat who has always been friendly, accommodating and professional.

Is there a less than 1 star option, because I would've chosen that. Called today to get a quote got transferred to carmen she was LOVELY, then got transferred to someone in service who woke up and chose aggressiveness! Ma'am at the end of the day, your job is CUSTOMER SERVICE pleaseeeeeeee work on your tone and customer approach, No wonder you guys continuously get bad reviews. Management, take a look at these reviews and train your staff! :(

The rates seemed good at first but have been jacked year after year for no reason. My vehicle is aging and depreciating, I have no tickets, and my rates are going up hundreds per year. The customer service is atrocious, good luck getting through to anyone and when you do they’re entitled, rude, and absolutely disgusting to deal with. I cannot wait till my plan is up. I will never do business with this horrible company ever again.

Horrible insurance company which is doing a cheated business to a 5 years royalty customer. Giving the double price of premium for auto insurance after 3 months later and forced the customer to pay without any shame. The customer service team, even the manager, didn't provide any good services for the customer relationship. Very disappointed! Never ever using Aon as your insurance company!!! It's a cheated company.

If I could give this company negative stars, I would. I have been through a maze of a disaster with Aon. Simple, straight forward tasks take them months on end to complete, let alone answer their emails in a timely manner. I have been dealing with Aon regarding my pension for close to 6 months and each time we communicate I get another excuse. If you are unlucky enough to have to deal with Aon, I am sorry for you.

Called this morning in regards to motorcycle insurance quote. The two gentleman that I talked to first seemed uninterested, not willing to help out more. I ended getting assistance after being redirected 3 times. The woman I ended up finally getting answers from talked in a condescending manner, making me question calling them for a quote. I am seriously considering not using them as my broker.

Horrible company! I tried to cancel my car insurance after selling my vehicle and had the most difficult experience. The lady on the phone kept pretending she couldn't hear me when I said I wanted to completely cancel my insurance and tried to sneakily keep me insured. It took way too many attempts and I was left feeling uneasy if my insurance was even canceled.

My quoted rate increased mysteriously after I already cancelled previous insurance! Very poor customer service. One continuing problem is name misspellings on the policies. I have made numerous tries to get things corrected but never has been 100%. I would have changed sooner but haven't had the time. I will move my insurance to another company soon!!

I just had a very positive experience working with Ken Baden on renewing my condo insurance. He went the extra mile to ensure my coverage took into account the Strata (i.e. building) insurance in terms of covering deductibles. There can be some large gaps and Ken was very helpful in finding coverage for these gaps at a reasonable price. Thank you Ken.

My experience with AON yesterday was fantastic! Kennedy was very knowledgeable, patient, courteous and pleasant. She made a huge impression on me with the way she explained everything and at the end, she saved me a lot of $$ and I was pleased and very satisfied. I am a very long time customer and I felt respected and valued.

I found the customer service people on the phone to mostly be helpful and generally when I called the wait times were not very long. However, the rates I were receiving for years I found out where very high through Aviva, especially for home insurance which was more than double the new rates I found.

Very poor customer service here. The call reps I've dealt with have been less than knowledgeable, curt and even rude. After years of being a customer, I've dropped this agency and I now deal with Access Insurance Group. Best move I've made in ages. They are awesome! I do Not recommend Aon to anyone!

Do not buy here. Very expensive. For my pickup and car it was $1550 year with Aon. Surex with peace hills gave me same policy for $849. These guys and Aviva are the absolute worst ! Stay far away from these highway robbers. Old west they would've hung these bandits.

Terrible customer service, I waited at least 20 minutes on the phone before talking to someone. Even if you are connected the rep are not very well prepared to answer you insurance questions. I wasted 40 minutes for nothing.
