Amazing food and literally the friendliest gentleman you'll ever meet! I was just asking him about the tagine and he insisted (would not let me refuse) I take one as a souvenir. As we got in our car to leave he ran after to give us bottles of water (for free) for the trip. The food itself was FANTASTIC! Freshly made beef kofta and veggies served in a tagine with bread. It wasn't just a tasty meal but truly an awesome experience with Mr. Aziz. The shop is small and there's no sign but the location on Google Maps is correct. Just look at photos of what the shop looks like and you should be able to find it.

Just fantastic! Such a nice man who welcomes you with a big smile. I’ve had a few meatballs in Morocco during my travels and was a bit skeptical how good it would be, but I was not disappointed! Definitely the best meatballs in Morocco. He also served tea and fruit (clementines and bananas) which was included in my meal. The one pictured only has one each since I ate about 5 before haha. I was surprised by how cheap it was for so much food! I was traveling solo and don’t usually love eating alone but made my lunch a very nice memorable experience! Thank you Aziz!

A la recherche d'un resto à midi, nous avons suivi les avis positif de Google et nous sommes retrouvés dans ce petit restaurant sur la rue principale de Moulay-Idriss. La bonne surprise de la journée ! Accueil extra par Aziz, "whiskey" berbère (thé) offert et une tajine extra ! Le meilleur repas qu'on ai mangé depuis 7 jours au Maroc! Une tajine de kefta avec tomates, oignons, ail et épices copieuse et délicieuse, servie avec du pain encore chaud! 30 dirrham et 5 pour le litre d'eau. Merci Aziz pour ce chouette moment authentique !

Celebrating 30 years in 2020, Aziz is still filled with infectious enthusiasm -- the kind you can't fake. This would be enough by itself, and not just for me, judging by his passionate customers. In absolute terms the vegetarian dinner I was served easily matches what you'll find in trendy spots like Fes' Ruined Garden, and that's true even if Aziz is even better known for his kabob. This is simple food, but he's an expert. Prices are excellent -- 30 Dirhams in my case.

We ate lunch at this little former kiosk. The owner stands at the outside at a grill and makes fresh food from scratch. He only has one menu, the one he is making on the grill. He offered us free "whiskey" and also gave us the opportunity to eat "like a Moroccan" or with forks. We payed 30 DH per person. So 60 at all and were full! It was also spicy and really delicious! The most authentic Moroccan food we had!

Aziz is just the most charming guy that deserves all the best. He cooks amazing meatballs, although I saw him serve up some eggs instead for a vegetarian that came to eat. He charged me 30 dirhams for my meal with countless teas, a price much cheaper than the more touristy places up the hill. His shop is exactly where it says on the map but he doesn't really have a sign.

لقد حصلنا على الترحيب الحار من المالك عزيز في مطعمه الصغير. köfte كانت لذيذة وجعل كل شيء طازجًا. حتى أننا ألقينا نظرة صغيرة على المطبخ بأنفسنا عندما كان يقوم بإعداد طعامنا. "الويسكي البربري" (الشاي بالنعناع) الذي استمر في تقديمه، أكمل الغداء اللذيذ. تجربة جميلة حقا!

Un lugar espectacular para comer y reponer fuerzas antes o despues de visitar Volubilis. Aziz, el dueño es una magnifica persona y un gran cocinero. Su Tajine de kefta está increible, y el típico té marroquí que ofrece es buenísimo.

Un mes en Marruecos muchos kilómetros y muchos lugares donde comer ... Este lugar es especial, autentico espíritu marroquí, alta calidad en la cocina y un precio excepcional, no paséis de largo es un lugar de auténtico acierto.

Un très belle accueil de la part de aziz. Le tajine étais excellent et peu chère (30dh avec le thé offert). Une personne avec le coeur sur la main qui prend soin de vous. Une chose est sur je retournerai le voir.

Aziz makes meatballs with tomatoes that are super tasty and very fresh. He was super friendly to us and you can tell he loves doing his job. Amazing service, definitely recommend.

Ein Highlight! Tajine (Fleischbällchen in würziger Tomatensauce) schmeckt ausgezeichnet und wird frisch auf dem Grill zubereitet. Super Service, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!!

Malheureusement Aziz n'est plus de ce monde paix à son âme. Le restaurant est en cours de reprise On verra si le nouveau propriétaire sera à la hauteur !

Food (meatballs with vegetable) was delicious and Aziz was very friendly. You can sit inside or outside. If you are really hungry, definetly try this.

We didn't get to taste what Aziz offers because he's unfortunately passed away 6 months ago, we were told. Condolences to his family and friends!

Unassuming roadside kefta (meatball) stand run by the nicest man, Aziz, he makes everything fresh and it’s delicious.
