Went there to deposit a cheque into my account and was told it needed to be deposited into a joint account with my wife since it was made out to both of us. I insisted we had a joint account and was told I didn't and that I had to see a personal advisor to set up an account. None was available at this branch. I called the Cambridge bank to try to get some help and the representative there was very helpful and found an advisor for me at another branch 2 days later. As soon as he looked at our profile, he saw we had a joint account. Deposited the cheque. We wasted time and ended up having to drive an extra hour out of our way for no reason. Very frustrating

I came in to get change for the store. We also use this place for our deposit The girl at the counter with no name tag dressed in all black with long nails, has no clue how to count. I gave this girl $140 to change for me. She could not count first she gave me back $110 the she counted over and over and every time she comes up with a different #, I had a store on hold and waited 15 min for her to learn to count on the spot. The other lady started getting mad at me for her coworkers incompetence. This girl needs a new career you should not have someone who can’t count at the counter. rude and unprofessional conduct by this team of so called bankers

BMO credit had booked me an appt at this branch to sign paperwork for overdraft protection. I had already had to go through the application twice over the phone and then had to chase them down for 2 weeks to get an answer. Then enter the lovely Shirry Girgis, the branch staff who refused to look in my customer file to print the completed paperwork. She started to make me do the entire application AGAIN. Refused to look multiple times when I told her the application was done and just needed to be signed. BMO, where do you go to find people this rude and incompetent? I got up and left the appointment and am closing out my accounts.

They need to have better informed staff members. It doesn't take much for Head Office to send out a Memo telling everyone what's currently running in there commercials! Saying "Sorry, I don't watch T.V." doesn't help me find anything!! If your going to suggest a Fathers Day gift make sure the staff knows what it is!! Thanks to Lady who actually knew her job and what was going on for helping me out in the end!! Also NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE LOOKS WE GOT FROM SOME OF THE STAFF EITHER!!!! ('Ć My sister has Downs Syndrome and I now walk with a cane from a car accident)

Bank machine fails, seizes my card and leaves my account open to whomever is using the machine next. No, I'm not joking. I had to drain the account at the ATM so no one could withdraw my balance. Cancel option doesn't work and the ATM won't return the card.. just leaves open access to my bank account! Are you kidding? Then they tell me they'll cancel the card and send me a replacement. Don't worry BMO.. that solves everything and completely reinstates the trust I no longer have for you! Well played!

I have been banking with BMO Waterdown for years. The staff are friendly, courteous & knowledgeable. They have made banking a great experience for myself, my family and anyone I have recommended. Every staff member has always been extremely great to deal with, but three particular individuals Karen, Sandra and Patricia have been exceptional.

Kathi provided incredible service. I'm extremely happy with the way she showed empathy and helped figure out a solution for our problem. We're leaving as satisfied client's, thank you Kathi

BMO blocks debit transactions that they do not approve of. We are now reaching a pinnacle where banks are deciding for us how we can spend our money.

If i could give less than 1 star I would. Financial advisor and staff make mistake and refuse to accommodate us. No apologies or accountability.
