Bank of the west customer for 15 years ever since I open my business, I even keep some money there so that I can have a relationship with the bank. The money I have at this bank pays me 1/3 interest as their competitors but I am the type of person that sees value in good customer service and relationship banking. So I take a hit on the premises of relationships and community. The first issue is they want to charge me 39 dollars a month so my accountant has access to my bank records. So she can reconcile my books. Nightmare the past several months with my accountant. Trying to login to my bank account. The last straw is this morning when I went in to get temporary checks because my office is over an hour away and they said they no longer print temporary checks. On top of paying you no interest on your money. They also do not give good customer service. So all the corporate people siphoning interest off my money can’t meet my needs. This does not work for me and I will be moving all my money from BMO. To everyone reading this don’t forget these people work for us, it’s not the other way around.

Bank of the west is a trusted institution with great CD rates over the years. I have been a customer since 1990, two checking accounts with Gold Lines of credit. This location is one that I have frequented the most. I love that I can write a check, for an amount over what I actually have in my account and instead if it bouncing my check, Bank of the West covers the check (purchase) and it's not considered overdrawn; it's automatically drawn out of my Gold Line and line of credit. It used to be $2 transaction fee but I think now it's $6, least time I checked. Then I pay interest on the amount. It has been a LIFE SAVER for me. Thank you Bank of the West. Another perk,is that they have several drive through branches SJ Ca. They've been closing the drive-throughs which is difficult when you're disabled. Please don't close them!!!

The tellers are not slow at all and there is never a line at this bank and they are not pushy like wells fargo.

Bank can't even stay open for banking hour. 9-5. I guess people who work (necessarily) are out of luck.

Expect to wait in a 20 person line on any given day. Tellers and customers are extremely slow.

Small branch, but they keep the line moving. Pleasant atmosphere.
