AVOID! I wish I paid on a credit card to dispute the charges, but Sagawa shipping is cash only. While my bag did make it from Kyoto to Tokyo within the specified time (2-3 days), my bag was delivered damaged! Do not use this service. Try to find another delivery service that can ship your bags without damaging them.
Don't get stuck with your luggage. It's 700 yen for each item for one day’s storage. You can leave your luggage at the Kyoto Station baggage room for up to 15 days. They will also deliver your bags to your hotel! Great service and extremely convenient!
Fast service. I recommend storing luggage here if you want to explore Kyoto station on your first day before check in.
