I was visiting SA on a road trip from Minnesota and ended up unexpectedly needing lodging. I scoured reviews and everything in the city in my price range had a prevalence of vehicles being broken into or bed bugs or problems with staff. My vehicle was my lifeline in this situation and I'm OCD af about germ and bugs I could potentially take home with me so some things I just couldn't handle. Then I came across this place! From reviews the only things ppl had problems with were personal preference type deals, and I'm aware the world doesn't revolve around me, so this place was an easy choice. I'd much rather drive 10 minutes down the highway than have a theft ring bust my car windows. The staff was all amazing and super helpful but Megan who checked me in was top notch! She didn't even bat an eye at my quirky personality and special needs and seemed to genuinely care about my well being. She was friendly yet professional and checked in with me every day to make sure I was ok. She was a real angel when I needed one and I will not be forgetting that. The hotel is nice! Obviously it's not the Ritz but the room was clean, comfortable, and secure. The thermostat worked seamlessly. No weird smells. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Towels were clean and replaced as soon as I asked. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. Clean fridge and microwave. Plenty of power outlets and lighting options. Nice TV. Ice machine filled my cooler. Did multiple loads of laundry, hot and fast dryer! You can expect to hear your wall neighbors a bit but no biggie. I have food allergies so hot breakfast isn't an option for me but man the hash browns and sausages sure smelled good! Looked like they had scrambled eggs and a waffle maker too. Cereal bar. Juice bar. And the part I was able to partake in, fresh fruit. There was also a food truck in the parking lot most evenings! No one messed with my car or any vehicles around. Everything felt very safe. Lot of truck traffic and ppl traveling on business. Friendly smiles but getting on with their days. The only thing I was lacking was a close gas station. If there is one I missed it. I'm so happy I found this place and got to have a clean friendly safe place to regroup and prepare to drive 1300 miles back home. I genuinely thank the staff for their services when I desperately needed them. I'm home safe!

I checked in hotel for the weekend of sept 29 & 30 two night stay. For a get away stay vacation and to rest . That was miserable stay because my toilet seating was very loose I almost fell off but I was able to grab for the door handle of bathroom. That would have bn a lawsuit. And my mattress it very hard on my back I was in pain the hole time Motrin I was barely walking. The air condition goes completely off & stay off once you lye down at night and I was sweating miserable but when u walk around in your room it works as if it works off body motion. I told the manager on that Monday & she gave a refund of $11.38 Insulting me and didn’t have no remorse didn’t do anything about it. I told her ho sleep in the room & she can see for herself how miserable it can be. And I told her to look at her cameras to see me walking in back pain but she didn’t care. So please hotels can look good until you have a night stay miserable . The build smells old in the inside & might be from mold in there. Please be aware please please . I already contact Coorporate office I found on Google for complaints. The rep didn’t didn’t want to give Coorporate number.

I will review this hotel EVERY single time I stay here! As a trucker, this has become my home when I need to be in my hometown and I no longer rent or own a place nor do I have a vehicle here. What I do have have are old, and now, new friends that are like family to me! My semi is kept safe in their lot under the watchful eye of excellent security cameras. My room(s) are always clean and smell great! There are no weird smells here! The cleaning staff do a great job!! I love the breakfast and the lady that keeps it going, Velma! All the staff are polite to me. The off thing is that darn AC thermostat! However.....you can ask that it be switched to VIP mode for your stay and you will have a little more control over it. They provided a box fan for my need to have air flow and noise since the ac fan no longer stays on constantly. Coffee is always available. Washer and dryer. I really have every need met! Many thanks again to Mrs. Lalita and her staff!!

Carpet had a stank smell / sheets needed to be changed ( had left on the door indicating to clean room, sure the room was cleaned but the same set of sheets, was left on the bed ....... Despicable appeared to e smeared blood / Complained to Front Desk person Shannon / to at least to try and get prorated or get something taken off my bill / He replied (Shannon ) since you came through a third ..... There's nothing he can do / I immediately asked for a manager / and business card / that same night when I demanded the sheets be changed / in which I had to prove those were the same sheets, I slept on / possessed pictures of the stained sheets ( which looks like smeared blood ) I really felt awful/ I will never stay there again and I will let others know about the ( Front desk guy ( Shannon ) ridiculous customer service....

Security cameras throughout (bonus) No carpet on first floor that we stayed in (bonus too cause tile floors seem cleaner from my traveling experiences) Breakfast was great! They had a really good selection of stuff and the staff attending to them were really hygienic too which was great. The night staff was really nice, attentive and helpful. I called in cause we got stuck in the storm and the night dude picked up super quickly. He was really helpful and explained everything along with the prices thoroughly. Only issue: shower water doesn't get hot enough. Overall: great experience here, may return in the future. Pro tip: Book early morning for the day cause rates change throughout and such. It seems cheaper if you book or look at prices earlier in the day. Room service available at decent prices too.

The rooms are nice and the night staff was very helpful and friendly. The morning lady at the front desk was a completely different story... We checked in at about 6AM and the check in desk lady said we could call in the morning and get a late check out at 1 PM...which was perfect because we could use the extra rest. When i called the Front desk at about 11:30AM..the new lady said I had to check out by 12:30 but she did not mention that she was going to add an extra fee of $20 ... Then she literally said she was going to charge my friend who was in another room a full day if he didnt check out by 12:30 ..she was literally counting down the minutes... We got hit with the extra $20 and checked out with 4 minutes ti spare.. I wouldn't stay here in the future due to that front desk lady.

We were traveling from Corpus Christi to Austin, but stopped because of road conditions. Many hotels were already full, and this one was as well about an hour after we arrived! Because of the road conditions, power outages, lack of water in many places, this was a safe place to land. The front desk staff were ready to help in any way...always gracious and with a smile! When the water went out later that night, the staff still continued to provide guests with cold breakfasts the next morning, and water from the pool so we didn't have to leave our bathroom in a total mess! Rooms were comfortable, clean, and very nice! I would recommend this lodging to anyone and everyone! Thank you staff and owners for helping your guests in every way possible!

A very nice surprise of a room. I was placed in this hotel on business. Didn’t think to much of Best Western at the time. However the room I got was like a mini suite. It had an entertaining area, kitchenette with dining table full refrigerator microwave stovetop then had a bedroom that had double doors a desk and another tv in the bedroom. It was a little outdated but very nice. The only draw back was that the bathroom was by the front door which means you have to walk through everything to use it and either take your close when you took your bath or walk to the bedroom in just your towel. All in all, a nice place. Would definitely recommend.

The front desk person Laura should absolutely not be there to answer phones or welcome people to this hotel. She is extremely rude and condescending in the way she speaks with people. My interacting with her today was appalling. I have read multiply complaints on her on here but yet she is still at this location and continues to be rude and just disconnects the call while you are speaking. My family and I have stayed at multiply BW Locations before and I have never met someone so rude. Will have to rethink where we stay and advise friends and family about not staying at any BW Locations if these are the people they are going to have at their front desk who are rude and still have them continue to work there.

Stayed for a couple of days due to my Freightliner breaking down and decided this location to be perfect. Minutes a day from the service shop and the fact there is a shuttle service was icing on the cake. Very well kept hotel. Very clean. From the rooms to the floors and even the breakfast area the people here take pride in their hotel. For the price point of my stay this has been the best hotel in that price range I've been to. Will definitely be here again. Great people and a great stay. Rooms were quiet too which is a plus from most hotels with paper thin walls. Thanks again for having me.

This place was what I needed it to be. A cozy spot along a big journey. I'm driving from Florida to California on the second part of my trip and I slept great. Showers were clean as well as the room. The front desk guy was super chill and was able to recommend a restaurant for dinner. The breakfast here is great. I love Hashbrown patties and sausage links. They also had taquitos which was a nice surprise. The other best westerns I've stayed at don't have those. A nice change for this cross country shenanigans. The hotel staff is very polite and accommodating. My husband and i had driven 25 hours to see his dying sister...We had an issue with noise and a misunderstanding with the room rate upon the first nights stay. This was remedied with ease immediately. While we didn't use any of the facilities and only had coffee/tea at breakfast, I can say that the room we were moved to was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable and it was at a great location off the I-10. I cannot thank the manager enough regarding the care she gave us in our time of need. I highly recommend staying here and will again in the future.

First time staying at this hotel. The rooms were fine. Not bad for just being there to sleep. The staff up front was nice. 15 minutes from the river walk. I didn't like how i could hear the people next door to me and across from me. I understand the rooms aren't sound proof, but I heard everything. The Breakfast is limited and definitely not worth eating. It wasn't good at all. The rates were decent for my 3 day stay. The poo is small. My son complained from his eyes burning. Probably too much chlorine.

The "Plus" in the name really isn't just a buzz word, this stay was wonderful - I would advise booking in advance - you can mention price matching with Priceline, and they will meet their rates (be mindful of taxes.) The hotel was COMPLETELY booked, but had a lovely quiet night. Very clean and the staff was exceptional. I usually don't write reviews, but I wanted to encourage others to support their business. The breakfast was on par for "free", they kept it fresh until 9:30 when they shut it down. Beds are decent, nothing special, but slept well.

My husband and I had a flood and had to vacate our house super last minute with our two kids and two dogs. This hotel while it might not be the most centrally located one around SA was perfect. The staff was super kind, the rate was very fair and they were able to book us short notice without a headache. We really appreciate being able to bring our dogs as well. Our room was spotless and had zero weird odors that you can sometimes get at pet friendly hotels. I really recommend.

This hotel is really great for a couples staycation. They have rooms jacuzzi tubs. They have a service that you can order breakfast off your phone and they will deliver to your room. The staff was really great and accommodating. I went there with my significant other and had a really fun experience. I would definitely go there again and also recommend this hotel to other couples or even if your solo its such a relaxing place

They also have a shuttle service running all day pick guests from nearby Truck dealership location and then upon request bring them to fast food and other places within a certain mileage range. It was a great stay. Absolute privacy meaning nobody knocked on our door. I really appreciate that as it was a couples trips. The only thing I didn’t really like was I got the king size bed with the jacuzzi and it was the very first room. At the end of the hallway would have been a lot better for that kind of room. It’s a “exclusive” kind of room in a crowded spot. Just a minor inconvenience.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. It was an older hotel but still in decent condition. The staff was helpful and nice. The location was a little out of the way with not much around it. It was a short drive from the at&t center where the event we were attending was. The breakfast had good variety though the breakfast room was too small and not enough seating. If I were attending another concert at the at&t center, I would stay there again

Excellent hotel! Very friendly front staff. Room was exceptional. Bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in. Room had a pleasant scent added to it making it feel like home. Though located in an industrial-like area, they have kept their grounds and internal property so nicely well-kept...you wouldn’t have noticed the surrounding area until you look outside a window. Easy access to other places and freeway. Highly recommended!!

Staff looked tired and overworked. I saw the same person working the morning shift who checked us in. The cart that we used to bring our luggage in was held together with several wires wrapped around to keep the top hanging rack on. Was given a free ride by shuttle over to the hotel from across the street. I walked in and was greeted very nicely like I had been there many times before. Company that I work for didn't want to pay for me to stay, so I paid out of pocket for one night. I put an order in by phone text for breakfast in the morning. And the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would stay there again if in the area.

They even put up signs in the elevator wishing our wrestlers good luck and opened the kitchen early to feed the kids before they left for the school. First the staff Velma in the breakfast area is great, she is cordial, helpful, and greets you in a good mood, you felt welcome, a great way to start off the morning. The rooms were surprisingly roomy! Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Front desk was also very nice and helpful about areas to go eat. The gym, had what you needed for a good workout as well. This place was great!

There is nothing exciting about driving across South Texas. But after a long day, this was going to be our place to sleep. And that we did. Very nice rooms with plenty of space. The lobby is a little bit different and not particularly inviting. But, everything else was fine.

I was unfamiliar with the area so when I showed up, I was not satisfied with the location. It's in an industrial area, no restaurants nearby, and alot of trailer trucks parked all around. I canceled my reservation when I saw 3 men sitting in the front of the hotel. I just didn't feel safe, since I was by myself.

If you are not going to stay in a room, they will definitely make you move! I parked my semi, didn't know what was going to happen,the next thing you know is someone knocking at your door. Fine. I get it! But to threaten to have me towed on a Sunday.... Really! I asked if I could pay like $20, but no towing was the only option.

By far the best over-all experience in a mid-ranged hotel. EVERYTHING was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were phenomenal. At no time in the 40+ day that I stayed at this location did I have any problems. I can't stress enough about the cleanliness of the rooms and lobby. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent find. My company set me up here and what a jewel. The staff is wonderful and rooms are spacious and clean. Best of all the bathrooms have dial soap dispensers for hands, body and hair. Amazing. Ashok Patel great staff especially Elena and the little lady that services breakfast wonderful people.

Update. Once again I came for 2nights and is still the best hotel I come to. This hotel never lets us down when it comes to feeling right at home. ❤ I absolutely loved this place. My stay here was purely coincidence, as my truck is in for repairs. I've been a guest (along with my partner and our 2 dogs) for about a week now. Breakfast is good. We have been here for 2 days. We have loved our stay! I wanted to recognize Rosa. She made the best breakfast and gave the best service! She is such a harder worker. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The air conditioner is cold. We will definitely come back to stay again.

I needed a lift from the dealership across the street. Walking there with luggage was dangerous and to my surprise they have a shuttle service. Room was very nice but their ac has sensors in it. It will be a little hot for like 5-7 minutes.

Very Clean, Staff was Freindly. Pool was Dirty, Gym was Clean. I missed the breakfast 3 days in a row very small window of oppurtunity to get breakfast
