Pirmas įspūdis labai blogas susidarė dėl merginos dirbusios registratūroje naujųjų metu išvakarėse. Visiškai apsimestinė šypsena, jokio pasitikimo, apie viešbutį jokios info, visko turi klausti pats, atsakymai lakoniški ir nemalonus. Labai nejaukiai jaučiausi vien dėl jos nekompetencijos šiam darbui. Sekančios dienos ryte issiregistruojant į registratura atėjo svečiai iš kito kambario ir paprašė atnaujinti jų kambario raktą, tai toji kad plėšė iš rankų ta raktą zmogui, net iš šono nemalonu žiūrėti buvo, galiu tik įsivaizduot kaip jautėsi pats svečias. Žodžiu rekomendacija keisti ta merga, nes gero vaizdo neprideda. Kita mergina dirbusi naujųjų naktį, puiki, draugiška ir maloni. Kambariai seni ir netvarkingi, ant naktiniu stalelių ant lempų dulkių sluoksnis kaip nevalyta savaite, kilimai nesvarus, o sienų plintusu kambarines isviso nevaliusios. Mini baro kambaryje nėra, apie tai registratūroje net nepasakė, kokia tvarka užsisakyti viską (ji privalo suteikti visa info), nežinojome nei kad yra sauna ir baseinas šiame viešbutyje, paklausėme tai drebedama iš pykčio atsakė kad sauna 50 euru ! Valandai! O baseinas isviso remontuojamas. Įtariu, kad nei vienas nei kitas nėra tiesa. :) žodžiu sėkmės ateityje, o mes daugiau ne grįšime ir sunkiai galėčiau parekomenduoti. Gera tik vieta. Pridedu nuotrauku, pasigrožėkite tarp kokiu dulkių miegate 4* viešbutyje :) Tiesa nei aptarnavimas, nei paslaugos nei švara neprilygsta keturioms žvaigždutėms, neisivaizduoju už ką jos skirtos :)

I’m being generous with 2 stars!!!! Holy ferking shirtholes!!!!! 4 star hotel? That’s laughable! Oh! My!! God!!! Where do I start? For anyone who doesn’t stay in hotels often or world wide, (or if your basically a secluded local and don’t travel) I could see how one might view this as a 4 Star hotel. Because you don’t know the difference between a 3, 4, or 5 star hotel. This a 2-3 star, Tops! I get it, it’s nostalgic, old, quaint, and unique. I also appreciate the fact that there is history and someone put lots & lots of £’s into it. But it is NOT a 4 start hotel!!! Just because you have something unique doesn’t mean it’s top of the line. 4 & five star hotels are in the luxury category. Let’s break it down: 1. I can hear the person in the next room talking. Plus loud creaky floors. Loud street noise, not good for rest. 2. No towels in the bathroom 3. Once I found a towel, it’s not much more than a paper towel, 4. A waist of space and the lack of comfort amenities. Not even a single bottle water. On the plus side: It has a fridge for drinks!! That’s huge! You can open the windows if you are sweating your a$$ off. There is plenty of light & spAce in the room.

This is centrally located with a clean room and the breakfast was quite decent, but I barely managed not to spit the coffee back in the cup as it was disgusting. We arrived on the hottest day of the year and one of the main reasons to book this was the AC in the room. Of course, it didn't work. Shower had ridiculous shower curtain on a makeshift spider device, which would block literally nothing and the entire bathroom was flooded when done. In addition, when it gets damp it starts touching your skin and I hate the sensation and it's definitely not a four-star facility. The toilet was facing a wall being placed about 40 cm from it, which is a huge issue for me as I have a knee problem and am unable to properly bend by leg. Overall, this was the worst bathroom I've ever been in my life in a hotel. In addition, the restaurant was booked for the evening with an event, which technically qualifies as not having a restaurant at all.

NEVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!! EXTREMELY DIRTY ROOM! Booked room for two, "king size" bed. They call it "Western" hotel, but it must be repaired!! Security measures in the bathroom are not met! Be aware of the shower curtain holder, it may fall on your head. They offer shampoo in the room, but no hair conditioner, so ladies, cut your hair before stay there, but better dont stay there at all!!Forget about the cleanliness of the room! Dust is everywhere! When checked out, showed the video to reception girl, she offered us to send somebody to clean the room.What?? or to take a meal for free in the restorant. As for food, the breakfast was as terrible as the room. If you do not eat food with gluten and lactose, then they have nothing for you. Lettuce leaves are offered with sand, they are also not washed. We are still waiting for the promised email from the administrator, on how they are going to make up for our terrible stay with them. Visited this place some time ago and paid for the stay with BW rewards points (no issues with claiming). However, the hotel proved to be a total disaster all round from service via rooms to facilities and breakfast. Despite clearly marking non-smoking for the room preferences, the room smelled as if someone just smoked inside. The front desk staff didn't see an issue there but after firm demand, they did change the room. Room design is bland and outdated (by a few generations ;)). Pool and sauna was extra charge despite this not being mentioned anywhere on the BW page or your usual booking portals. Cleanliness of the pool area and saunas was not very good and both facilities really could use a makeover. Pool is super small and so are the saunas. Breakfast... just avoid. Despite being top tier BW rewards member, I would 100 % not choose to stay in this hotel again...I mean ever.

So we stayed here in 2007, and this time managed to get the same room, for old times sake. Well, not much had changed in 15yrs.. The room was still very nice, but the only difference appeared to be the tv and chairs ! Parking is a bit restricted for a hotel of this size, so if you want secure parking, get in early. Also if you have a vehicle over 2.3m you won't get under the arch, as there is a nasty bracket hanging down. There is NO HEIGHT WARNING. I recall commenting on the breakfast fried eggs 15yrs ago, and unfortunately they are still the same. You can't fry eggs in olive oil, and the omlete version was equally disgusting. However the rest of the breakfast options were lovely. In short its a quaint old hotel.

Kalnų šaltinio vaizdas terasos kraštuose nukėlė toli toli į prisiminimus ir sukėlė teigiamas emocijas. Beje, ten pūpsantys moliūgai - tikri! Patikrinau. Galvojau, kad tiesiog dekoracija . Tikrai gražu, visa aplinka harmonijoje su metų laiku. Ačiū už šilumą ir šiltus gėrimus seminarų patalpoje, nors tuo metu dar nebuvo pradėtas centrinio šildymo sezonas! Buvo gera sušilti, atėjus iš lauko, lyjant lietuviško rudens lietui ☔ Buvo smagu, daug atradimų. Norėtųsi kada nors pratęsti tyrinėjimus. Manau, vien Jūsų viešbučio pastato istorija yra verta atskiros knygos nes yra daug ką papasakoti!

Good location, decent spacious room with nice extended closed glass balcony with chairs and table so you can enjoy street view… Decent parking at the back of hotel and decent breakfast. Reception staff was really nice and welcoming. Overall it was nice stay except one bad experience- while i was parking my car i was approached by person who aggressively and rude way was telling me how to park my car.He did not have any badge or uniform and did not present him as person working for hotel. Then i went to make a complaint to reception and once again i was approached by the same person and he was really rude asking me what is my problem. During unpleasant conversation he told me his name is Remigijus…(do not know his position) I was really surprised that kind of people working in decent hotels…

I was very disappointed with the service. I came with my wife for her birthday for few days. I booked a deluxe room with nice view and a few weeks before I asked the hotel to prepare a nice room, leave a nice wish and ordered champagne. We agreed all the cost. 3 hours before arrival, the day we were supposed to stay, I texted that we were coming, so that they would have time for everything prepare. Upon arrival there was absolutely nothing. No champagne , no note, no decorations. The massive window is in front the wall and the curtains must always be closed because the neighbors in front can see everything. The bed is very bad. two beds pushed together, two blankets. No coziness or romance. We will never stay in this hotel again

Reception personnel appears undertrained. Despite warning signs on severe penalties for not wearing face masks the personnel ignored the protection themselves. Our first room was invided by several large spiders. On demand we received another accommodation , but we found it undercleaned and with multiple live spiders too. By an accident we left a shirt in the room. Our email with request for return was ignored and never replied.The hotel is nicely located, in a quiet area. That is about all positive about it. Rooms and bathrooms need renovation and most of all better cleaning.

Hotel is on very good location. Rooms are outdated with old furniture and carpet. Toilets are clean but old. Some insects all arounds. Roms are cleaned every day but just basic. There is no botle water in the room, only coffee and tea but not replaced every day. Food is basic and always waiting when something is missing. Some food was same from previous meal. Wifi is very good all around hotel. Reception and workers very good speaking english and profesional. 5 stars for them. Spa, swimungpool are not working, so be careful. Notvworth of money

Very dirty rooms! Not been deep cleaned for years. Most of the staff did not even try to notice you. No hello or even eye contact. They seemed annoyed by any request.

We had breakfast included in our stay and for 4 days straight the warm food was cold, and in general not great. There was fruit, but not fresh at all. I'm 99 % sure that it was the same fruit all week. They just got more and more rinkly.

One of the worst hotel in Kaunas. More money minded. My flight got cancel and I requested hotel to change my date as I booked very last minute. Initially lady at reception said, you can talk to manager Tomorrow, when I called after two days the reception started making excuses. She was very rude. Staff needs more training how to deal with customer. I will never recommend to anyone because of the attitude. Poor ….

Viešbutis tikrai nebe 4 žvaigždučių, max 3. Viskas nusidėvėję, sena. Ryškus darbuotojų trūkumas tiek kambarių tvarkyme, tiek per pusryčius. Kambariuose ant visų paviršių daug dulkių, vonia tokia sena, kad nusitrynęs visas dugnas geltonai. Atėję pusryčiauti laukėme lėkščių, vandens, duonos, kiaušinių - beveik visko, o viską pildė viena nusikalusi padavėja. TRŪKSTA DARBUOTOJŲ. Ir tikrai kaina nakčiai per didelė už tai, ką turite pasiūlyti.

Good hotel, but I guess it’s need to be renovated. We arrived with a 11m baby and we needed to lift up the trolley by our selves everywhere… quite strange for 2023… And it’s first time ever that there was no bottle of water in the room…‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️ Breakfast was ok, I was happy that we could offer anything to our daughter, but there was no difference of food on first and second day. Kambariai tvarkingi, su autentiškais pastatų motyvais, jaukūs. Erdvūs vonios kambariai. Galima apsistoti su gyvūnais. Pusryčiai skurdoki pagal turimas 4*. Personalas mandagis, bet ne viską informuoja pagal esamą situaciją. Jei sauna veikia, tai viskas gerai, bet kad baseinas uždarytas, apie tai nutylima. Pasiruošti saunai reikia kambaryje, nes persirengimo kambarys yra bendroje saunos zonoje. Rytais koridorius dunda lyg "riedėtų traukinys" šalia lovos (Greičiausiai personalas ruošiasi išaušusiai dienai). Antrą kartą greičiausiai rinkčiausi kitą viešbutį..

I gave 2 stars only based on location, as it is very close to the city centre and all the restaurants and coffee places. As for the rooms, they seems pretty oldish, furniture, beds, mattresses. The bed was set on some sort of lodges. They are fairly clean.. The heating does not work and I requested another room, but it was the same ... no heating although the knobs were turned to 5, maximum heating. I received an electrical heating, a small one, and I put it next to my bed. Still caught a cold. The receptionists are quite helpful. Breakfast is good.

Nostalgie of the 70's in USSR. Those born in 1960 to 1970 would probably get an emotional sparkle in the eye while staying in this retro-hotel. BIG minus - no heating in the room while outside is +5C. Good location. No mold or bad smell. Rooms clean, but very old. But yet I felt very cold while staying here in late October :(

I was reading about other people expiriences, so I was bit worried what I will find there. Hotel is in perfect location 50 meters from central pedestrian street. My room was very nice,large, good equipped, big bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Saff very polite. Good internet connection. I can definetley recomend this hotel.

Nice hotel and nice location. Most of it is 4*** : quality (not the variety) of breakfast, room size, price vs what you get. The reception girls are 5*. The biggest issue encountered was the lack of imagination (at least for room 220) with the toilet. It was separated from the bath, fine with us, but having to hug a sink in order to use it - awful :) A bit of attention with the cleaning part would bring up the stars on the reviews : spiderwebs at the windows, stained sheets and holes in the towel...All in all decent. thanks

Hotel with lots of facilities, restaurant, sauna business centre, car parking, lots of art, in the centre of kaunas. It could do with a bit of refurbishments, as some corridors had strong odours, room furniture was occasionally basic, with wardrobe a bit worn out. Beds were ok, internet worked ok, although couldn't find an iron or shoe horn or cleaner. There was no information that the sauna was not turned on and the pool had no water. Maybe because of COVID-19, but would have been good to notify customers on arrival.

Personas keistai reaguoja I pastabas. Nemanau, kad gera vieta poilsiui.

Please note that despite the marketing blurb, Not all rooms are air conditioned or very pleasant. I ended up in dark and dirty room behind reception that was noisy, filthy and smelt like a cesspit. When I asked staff at reception to change rooms I got the usual 'hotel full' nonsense and two chocolate biscuits 'as a treat' which was unbelievably patronising. Pros: great location, just a few minutes walking to main attractions; reception staff was very polite and helpful. Cons: outdated rooms, flimsy, cheap, covered in limescale sanitaryware. I had a broken shower tray, dirty toilet and minibar, it took 2-3minutes TV just to turn on. Definitely not 4* hotel, 3* max, and only if they invest at least a little in fixing above listed essentials.

It's old fashioned hotel but in good meaning. They have a very big rooms but equipment waiting for the renovation. The swimming pool is under reconstruction but on site there is no info about this. The parking is for free but with very limited space and it's look like tetris, when you park deeper it's impossible to drive out earlier. Breakfast and location are quite good.

Hotel was very comfy and clean. Quiet rooms but people talking at corridor may wake you up at night. Rooms were big. Breakfast was basic good and there was alot of options. Nothing too fancy. There was abit crowded at the breakfast room time to time. Nice location in old city of kaunas. Only 6 e taxi ride from eirport.

Vieta gera, aptarnavimas malonus, bet... kambary dulkės nevalytos kokius metus, tualete voratinkliai su žmogaus ūgiu (per puse sienos), durys į vonios kambarį turbūt niekada nevalytos, langai purvini, užuolaidos irgi... durys į kambarį labai sunkiai atsirakina, kolidoriuje labai prastas kvapas. Viskas būtų neblogai, bet kaip 4⭐️ Viešbučiui tvarkos labai labai trūksta. Nusivylėm

Good location. Nice hotel and facility with sauna and indoor pool which i really need during long traveling. Try top window apartment. Quiet night. Walking distance from nice small downtown. Try local specialities such is pig ears ( did you know it is mostly imported from Czech? ), zeppelin dumpling with the meat inside, or hot honney bear with orange ( which i really like as is slightly denser than same style of Polish hot bear ).

I booked the room via booking . On booking there was clear informatorom that there is a swimming pool available . When we checked in I asked where the swimming pool is. The recepcionist just said that it was in renovation without any sorry. I chose the hotel only because of the pool so I was really disappointed. The rest like rooms were ok but it istn't worth the price.

Nice hotel in walking distance to almost anything. I stayed at the top floor w excellent view over Kaunas but the elevator only goes to the 4th floor and you have to walk two more floors! WiFi does not work nor the tv channels! Room is comfortable and spacious but bathroom needs better ventilation. Bed is allright but a little hard. Breakfast is plenty and w man options. Coffee machine only works sometimes.

Pačioje Kauno širdyje įsikūręs viešbutis, kuriame galima ne tik apsistoti, bet ir skaniai pavalgyti! Šaunus aptarnaujantis personalas, daug jaukių pasisėdėjimų vietų. Taip pat yra keletas salių skirtų įvairiems seminarams. Tik 1 minutė kelio ir jūs jau gražioje Laisvės alėjoje. Tad atvykus į Kauną verta apsistoti šiame viešbutyje.

I really don't know how the stars are given in LT but it is not 4 definitely.... Breakfast bacon was cold above the tables spyder nets on the lamps. Room toilets really small... Service was just like in hostel not hotel. Will not come back for sure. Suggestion to owners ,visit Radison blue Latvia or grosgovern London.

It was below my expectations. First of all when you enter room you smell a horrible smell of old pipes and cheep refreshener. Other room was only a little better. Old, noisy furniture and very basic breakfast do not give any good impression of 4* hotel. I would say it hardly 3*. I like the brand in other countries but I do not think I will stay here in Kaunas again.

Quite good hotel. Because of Covid-19 virus, the pool and sauna was out of order. Also breakfast was quite poor, table service bread, omelet and some sallad. You could get coffee and juice by our self... But staff very nice and friendly. We had the suite and was good. I can recommend this hotel

Three rooms were used. Poor service. There wasn't cold water in the rooms at all. Means no shower, no wc could be used... How the property accommodate the guests in such conditions remain unclear. Note! The City Taxes of €1 demanded in check out time despite of all.

To me this hotel is the best option for stay in Kaunas. 5 minutes away from the center. The rooms are comfortable, cleaned every day. Rich and varied breakfast.

good not expensive 4 star hotel in center of Kaunas. polite personal, quietly and well equipped rooms, breakfast as usual. free parking. it is good choice for business or family trip. there is a sauna, but it is hard to reach it :-) because for free (as it is promouted) only during from 7 to 10 am. and after 11 pm it is closed…

Stayed here for four days and had a wonderful time. The girls at the front desk are extremely helpful and assisted me with everything I came to them with. The room was large and comfy. Mini bar prices were reasonable, free breakfast was far above average. This is in my top two Best Westerns stayed at and I've stayed at many!

Turbūt turkai sažiningiau žvaigždes dalina. Šaldytuvas neveikia (net įjungus į rozetę ) ,viešbutis aptriušęs, maistas ok, raktai abu neveikia. Tualetas "patogus" sėdėdamas kojas pakiši po kriaukle o galvą ikiši į kriauklę nu ir atlieki ko atėjęs.

Super geras viešbutis! Ačiū už nuostabią, jaukią aplinką šeimos šventei! Personalas rūpestingas, malonus. Kambarys kurį gavom - wow, malonu buvo stebėti vakarėjantį ir bundantį Kauną pro didžiulius vitrininius langus, būti įsitaisius virš raudonų čerpių stogų, privačiai, prašmatniai, patogiai ir šiltai! Ačiū

Spalio vidurys, vidutinė paros temperatūra apie 8. Kaune centrinis šildymas įjungtas prieš savaitę, o viešbučio kambariai nešildomi. 16 šilumos tai nėra normalu. Teko apsirgti po nakvynės.

Very nice rooms and great design. The bed was very comfy and the small shampoos and shower gels smelled amazing. Breakfast was very very good, a large variety of choices and delicious.

Location is great. Rooms are old, but clean. Breakfast was big, but poor in quality. Service - ok. All in all, would not think this is a 4 stars hotel. And the difference in price and quality is inadequate.

++ AMAZING location, free (fast) wifi, free parking, free (plentiful) breakfast, large quiet and well equipped rooms, nice staff. -- Housekeeping has room to improve. One of the lights in my room was broken on Day 1 and immediately reported but never fixed. Parking gets very crowded/chaotic.

I will definitely return. Just top notch service! Room was spacious, well decorated and laid out. Front desk and restuarant service was excellent. I will be in the area every month from Seattle and I have found my hotel for sure. Wish they all could be like Santakos Best Western.

Skanūs pusryčiai,gera vieta. Reikėtų normaliai išsisiurbti kambarius ir nuvalyti voratinklius. Kambarys nebuvo paruoštas laiku.

Old school hotel. It is pretty good. The coffee machine at breakfast needs to be changed. Some windows in the room cannot be opened - weird. I liked the parking in the backyard and the fact that toilet and bathroom were separate in our room. Location is very good too.

Pretty nice rooms and a friendly staff. Pool is small but the breakfast is amazing. We did have an issue with getting a taxi one day as we asked her to book us one. She called them up and said it was booked. When the time came and we had to leave, no taxi was booked.

Very nice hotel close to the center of Kaunas. Room and interior were great, reception staff was helpful but not very friendly ( you felt like you were bothering them). Breakfast had huge variety but quality was lacking ( e.g. Bread was pale and of low quality)

Good place to stay in Kaunas. Free parking, good breakfast. Just bed was not so comfortable.

It probably all depends on your expectations. But while visibly Kaunas is becoming a modern city, the Best Western needs to make that move. The personnel is very friendly and service oriented and the price is OK. However, for the future that won't be enough.

Very nice stay. Front desk staffs are friendly. Basement dinner area is interesting. Great location between old and new town, within walking distance. Our room for two has two separate sleeping quarters, and separate toilet room and shower room. Very nice.

The hotel is pretty average, not 4* for sure. Nothing too special, old style rooms with LEFTOVERS in the mini bar :)))) The only good part is the location so far.

Don't book their single rooms. A shoebox is bigger. No air con, just a fan on the table. Very smal toilet and room is filled with the bed so that only small people can move arround. Lot of noise from music school. Some rooms without access to elevator.

It’s very nice room view and It’s clear to see the ballon. However it needs to take a bit stairs and effort to get here, BTW, Breakfast is delicious. They also have parking lot behind building. It can be better if they can renew the tv and tv remote.

We were having New Years eve dinner here and actually, most of the people from our table were disappointed... The price was above average, but food quality was below average. I cannot say anything about the hotel itself as we stayed in another one.

Location is very good, easy access to parking - which is free, albeit a bit crowded. Rooms spacious and fairly well equipped. Working WiFi. Breakfast was good, a lot of choices and very tasty, with some local specialities. Very friendly staff.

Rooms 30yo, not like advertised. Had to upgrade. 24/7 bar works only by midnight! Pool is a joke. Terrible. Hof hotel in Kaunas where I stayed in last year is a much better choice.

Very nice hotel, room was nice and clean and quiet. The place is at a good location, small walk to Akropolis center. Parking available behind the hotel. I had a very comfortable stay and will stay there again.

The rooms are very spacious n also the bathrooms... Done pretty aesthetically... Courteous n very helpful staff ....helps when you reach the hotel after a tiring travel day... Pretty well situated....

Location is good near city centre. Old building good size room . Staff very cooperative. It’s little feel dark inside need to more bright up. Breakfast was avg . Not as such vegetation options .

Really enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed, the room was spacious and nicelly furnished. Location is very convenient with old town being nearby, and not much noise in the vicinity.

Was very impressed by the design of the rooms and the price. Great quality stay in the central part of the city Kaunas. Walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and bars.

Super hotel in a very nice place - Kaunas old town . Clean, nicely furnished. Very good and tasty breakfast. Swimming pool for for one person but nice.

Hotel is in good location. Have private parking. But the rooms are very old & have some bad smell in the room. Breakfast is ok. Staff is friendly.

My room which i had was big, clean and good with a bathtub and balcony, but the Breakfast could be little bit better ....

I liked this hotel. Personal was friendly. Food were good. Location good. Room was beautiful.
