- If you’re an amateur, don’t know exactly which bike you’d like to buy, do not possess some degree of shamelessness...DO NOT VISIT! Because these guys are Sharks and they’re in the business of humbling folks. The bike store is just a front. - If you’re planning to buy a cycle manufactured by Hero, Hercules, BSA etc (Bikes that regular folks consider entry-level), don’t bother visiting this place. No kiddie bikes either. - What do they have in store (apart from their almost snobbish attitudes)? Formats, Schnells, Scotts, Trek, Giants...I think also Kona bikes. They have accessories by some good brands like Serra, Cateye, BnB etc. The products they have are good, you just need to know what you need and of course, money. - Their mechanical staff is good, they know what they are doing, use some of the best tools out there and seem to be pretty good at what they do. Visit this place only if you know what you want and are willing to make a purchase with almost negligible salesmanship or engagement on the store’s part (The guy attending probably saw my face once, maybe didn’t like it). The sales staff are busy people, perched on their high horses, busy with other stuff. Yet, they were kind enough to take my money and give me a bike! I took note of what they were subtly trying to tell me and bought a second road-bike from elsewhere.

Amid many ameteur bicycle shops in Mumbai suburbs, the BikeShark outlet comes out well in presentation and variety of cycles. However, the excitement turns into disappointment in no time. The owners (they are 3) are just bike riders/enthuists and least concerned about commercial sales and lack marketing and communication skills. I was shocked to see one of the partners (Arun) so engrossed into his mobile, that he didn't even bother to look up and welcome the customer. They frequently sit outside the store with a gang of few locked into their mobiles.... Service of these expensive bikes @ BikeShark is pathetic than sales. All you have to handle is their ego, lack of transparency and unjustified big fat budget. We are talking about bikes of range 20K+. Unlike the old fashioned stores, BikeShark service guys are not friendly to the kids during on-the-go repairs. My son hesitates to visit the store alone, as he was sent back after long wait with no repair but just a blank response. I feel the staff at Jalaram Bike stores were more cordial and responsive to the kids There aren't any options in Kandivali and around to buy high end bikes and henc people end up buying at BikeShark. I suggest all to look for better options, though they may be bit far.

I had a puncture in Mumbai while riding. So I had to go to these people to get it done. First they told me that there is no puncture guy to fix the puncture but they were ready to sell me a new tube installed by a puncture guy. Since I was more into getting things done and enjoy riding, I had to go with that option, them being money minded and short sighted while getting this review. When I reached there, they installed a different tube than the one in my other tyre. So I have now 2 different kind tubes air fillers in one bicycle. This they did not mention. Also the tyre is still leaking air and it not so filling up to mark as it used to. The tube is week. Since they are money minded, I am doubtful whether they installed a old tube . Whenever you will try to make a fool of your customers ,they will strike back. Let other read this review so that they think B4 landing with such people. We have decathlon , bots and so many other places, y to go to such shops who don't care. I am randonneur and BBCH racer. Mind you this feedback is gift for you to better your ways.

I had been in touch with Abhishek that’s what the name is saved as in my contact since a very long time and suddenly the worker says there’s no person name Abhishek. I have been renting cycle before covid practically from the day when the shop had started . Today when I called maybe he did not recognise me or what idk I usually WALK IN there pay the rent take the bike and leave It’s due to credibility but idk what happened today! What nonsensical policies they talked about on call and it blew my brain How a cycle shop has a authority to keep original AADHAR card or any original government identity ? I mentioned I am ready to give a copy of it but original is not possible for me He questioned me madam what if it gets stolen ? I asked for electricity bill with my photo as an option he says it’s not valid ! Maybe it’s not his day today & I called at his bad day but I had a to post this nonsense conversation to know through comments if this happened the same with you

I recently bought a new bike, Trinx M500 Pro from this place and I would say that the place is pretty good if you know what you want to buy. But the attitude of the sales people over here is not customer friendly. I mean I literally had to ask multiple times about the product to get some words out of their mouth. The owner was just busy with his mobile phone and hardly bothered about the customers. I think the products they offer are good but they need to be a lot customer centric and approachable but I guess they have a lot of money to even bother. Anyways, the bike is awesome and they have really good range of high end imported bicycles if you have the knowledge and do not need any support form the sales staff.

Its 2020 and I have been associated with bikeShark for 10 years now. Bought my first cycle in the city from them and I have owned 3 bikes since then, I had left Mumbai for my last two purchases but they didn’t hesitate in transporting the new bike across to the other side of the country. They are bike enthusiasts first and then business men and this makes it interesting as you get the best suggestion and the most detailed after service ever. This is one of the first stores to foster a cycling community and constantly produce athletes. They are always open for conversation over coffee at their stores for varied topics. you can visit as many times as you’d like before buying your bike.

My mtb had a problem with the disc breaks. So 3000rs and 2 days later . The disc break problem persisted infact the disc hub threads got damaged and pedals started squeaking. The repair guy is is rude and told me that Indian brands are not good and we don't take in such mtbs for servicing. My question is why didn't you tell me this before billing me 3k rs? They installed parts without asking me, the parts we of cheap quality and were available online for half the priced they charged me . So yes apart from the staff's rude behavior, my money gone down the drain, and 3-4 rides to the service centre with faulty discs, the place is awesome!!

I had a 29er and I was keen to upgrade to a hybrid for long distance rides, as I am 6ft tall whichever shop I visited very less variety was available. Worst place to get a cycle from , they sell you cycles with high hopes and great promises , but once you do get a cycle , they forget all their promises . Their staff is very rude and only talk nicely when you buy a cycle , once you go for a normal service or repair they talk so rudely and they think that we loyal customers are their pendulum who will always come to them for repairs . The rudest guy disrespected my family and discriminated our family driver . As an experienced reviewer I suggest closing this place or changing staff

Got my bicycle serviced from bikeshark after 8 months of lying idle and the 1st time I rode it post service, couldn’t tell if it was a new bike or my same old bike. Their service and workshop is impeccable. A bit pricey, but I think a good quality bike deserves a good quality service done by skilled technicians. Pleasant experience from this place. Good collection, but customer service is the worst. There is literally no proper response to things you ask them. Like speaking is costing them money or something. This is not an isolated experience. I have visited their store several times for all sorts of things like buying buying, servicing. Same experience every time. I actually prefer to going to other shops over twice as far from my place rather than these guys now.

Has many high end bikes which are very costly. The place is very good and well maintained too. The location is also a prime one, thus making reachability no issue. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing is that they are very difficult to contact by phone because they usually don't pickup their phones. That's a major issue. Besides that, this place is nice.

The sales guy was not only disinterested but his attitude was close to insulting ( "our bike cost over 14000 rupees ") was the first sentence he spoke to us... without knowing that my brother's budget was over 30,000. Cycle quality is good.. but pricing is on the higher side.. plus customer service needs to improve . I took a cycle on rent on saturday 14th November for one day.. I was told to return back the cycle on sunday afternoon.. when I arrived with my bike, the shop is closed. I called up the guy at least 10 times , dropped a text as well.. but no reply at all...

Went there looking at all the positive reviews. Had a very bad experience. Had gone there with an intention to *purchase* a hybrid bike, but the owner or manager or whatever he was was least interested on hearing my budget of 25k. He should mention it on his Google page that enquiries under 50k will be ignored along with the person making the enquiry.

Only if you know thoroughly what you want then only visit the place. The sales representative was not very helpful to guide me as to what would be the best buy for me. Each bike has it's own special features ... But the sales team did not try to explain to us the various features say for the difference in brakes, gears , hanles ,peddel etc.

Went there after a long detour. Time was 3.00 pm and the shop was open. I enter and the man tells me it is closed for lunch time. I just need an inner tube for my 7 yr old son’s bike. I am a customer there so I thought I’ll ask just for the quick transaction, but got refused. Bad customer service. Overpriced shop. Wouldn’t recommend !

Got my bike here for servicing.They told me it will take one day ended up taking a whole week.They didn't have the required parts.There are scratches on the bike and charged around 6,000/- and the bike still doesn't shift properly better go to Pro9 in bandra and buy an Indian bike cause maintaince is easier
