From start to finish, my tattoo experience at Black Gold Tattoo was beyond amazing. The shop is clean, well lit, spaced out nicely, and had a good selection of music playing in the background. My first interactions were with Sashko, who manages the front end. They were extremely pleasant to talk to over the phone and in person. It was very refreshing (and it has been a long time since I have seen it done) to have a dedicated person (and not just whichever tattoo artist was available) to interact with at the storefront. They handled my appointment scheduling, provided me with courtesy calls to remind me about my upcoming appointment, and answered any questions that I had. I was tattooed by Chris, who in my opinion, is not only an amazing artist but also a lot of fun to talk to while getting zapped by a tiny buzzing machine. He has a soft touch with the tattoo gun and the entire process from consultation to the completion of the tattoo was a positive one. I cannot recommend Black Gold Tattoo highly enough and have already booked another tattoo appointment with Chris.

Had a great tattoo experience at Black Gold Tattoo Co! From the welcoming front staff to the consultation and tattoo appointment with very talented artist Ian I always felt welcome and at ease. Ian did an amazing job and I couldn’t be happier with my tattoo! The shop is immaculately clean and bright and everyone there (staff and customers) seem genuinely happy to be there. Would get any future work done there in a heartbeat!

My daughter and I got our tattoos done today and as much as I was NOT looking forward to it, it really was an exceptional experience. Chris Labrenz was beyond amazing. Both his art work and the whole experience far exceeded our expectations. The whole staff were funny and relaxed and made the entire appointment feel comfortable and relaxed. Would highly recommend both the shop and Chris!!

This is my first tattoo at Black Gold but it definitely won't be my last! I worked with Jess and she gave me my dream tattoo. (Literally, she took a picture that I described from a dream and created this beautiful design.) Her work is beyond amazing (17 years experience) and she's a hell of a lot of fun too. A wonderful experience, all around. I wish I could choose more than 5 stars.

I had a fantastic experience with Ian! The consultation was quick and easy. He was friendly and professional. He was patient when I changed my mind about the size I wanted. I would definitely go back to him and recommend him! Black Gold is clean and the staff are excellent. Very very happy with my tattoo!

Had my first tattoo done here with Ian and could not have asked for more. From the moment I called for my consult to completion everyone was so welcoming and inviting. I love the open plan concept and can’t wait to decide on my next tattoo. I will definitely be back for more :-)

My husband and i saw Ian today for walk ins. Tattoos are mint, very clean shop. Ian was great to work with and the lady working reception was amazing and very concerned with our comfort.
