Beware my wife and I used them and it was a nightmare. They did not come on the date they stated and when they did show up one of the movers stayed in the truck saying he did not feel good so I helped. The best thing that happened they cracked my 73 inch TV and scratched my wife’s table, we filed a claim. Please read below buyer beware…oh BTW it took 90 days for them tell us this. certainly understand your frustration regarding the damage that occurred. We did proceed to process your claim and collected information such as comments from the movers, statement, claim form, pictures, and the type of damage found, we found that the damage found is not covered by the limit of liability. Based on the contract and agreement signed the limit of liability does not cover the indicated damage that occurred. The Standard Movers liability coverage does not cover any type of damage to TVs that are not safely and completely wrapped and sealed, crated, or packed in a protective box or container that was not packed and sealed by Black Hawk Moving. When Black Hawk Moving provides packing services Black Hawk employees are trained precisely on how to pack the boxes and use special protection for delicate items to ensure safe delivery without damage. The TV was not packed in a protective box by Black Hawk employees and were not contracted to provide packing services that were offered. Black Hawk employees do move the items with the acknowledgement that without proper boxing and crating, poses a risk of these types of damages to occur. Even when items are wrapped with blankets, damage can occur due to the unnatural physical shocks and movement within the trucks, and movement in general. Black Hawk offers materials such as custom TV boxes, paper, bubble wrap, and all packaging supplies that would be needed if items were not boxed. Any material orders placed would need to be placed prior to the move date to ensure Black Hawk employees would bring the items for the move day and or packing day. Black Hawk Moving would place the order for the specific dimensions of the TV with the vendor providing these materials. Black Hawk Moving does charge additional for each custom sized box to properly package items if contracted to do so. Packing services are charged hourly. Black Hawk Moving was not provided with the dimensions of the TV and was solely contracted to wrap the TV with blankets. We did move the TV that was requested to be moved without proper protection with the acknowledgement that this item is a risk to move without the protection. Therefore the TV would not be covered by limit of liability. The Standard Movers Liability does not cover damage to wood items that are not safely and completely wrapped and sealed, crated, or packed in a protective box or container that was not packed and sealed by Black Hawk Moving. The Standard Movers Liability Coverage does not cover scratches, nicks, chips, dents, and other damage to wood. Even when items are wrapped with blankets, damage can occur due to the unnatural physical shocks and movement within the trucks, and movement in general, and if uncrated can pose a risk of damage to occur. Wood is a delicate substance that can be damaged easily when moving and maneuvering and if uncrated poses a risk for damage

Multiple large boxes of our things “vanished” in transit. It also took them *18* hours to move the boxes that did make it from our house to our storage unit, while it only took All My Sons 6 hours to move everything back out of storage, to our new house, AND ALSO CLEAN AND ASSEMBLE EVERYTHING, all in that 6 hours. Update because they have replied: The move did NOT take 8 hours. That was only day 1 of 2. It took so long (due to them getting there late and then getting the moving truck stuck in my yard) the first day, they insisted they had to bring my truck full of belongings to their private residence in Clarksville before unloading in my storage until the next day, at which point I had to leave for a business trip so I did not get to see them unload. I’m curious how I signed that the truck was empty given I had to leave town. My things were in storage for 7 months until our new house was done being built. I learned my lesson and watched the next moving company (All My Sons) religiously to make sure that they weren’t wasting time. I didn’t leave them unsupervised for a moment, and their truck was empty when they left. The last time I saw those large boxes, they were being loaded onto the Blackhawk moving truck, and after spending the night in Clarksville, they never made it to my storage unit.

These people are an utter shame and should not be in business. I talked with a guy named James and I will put my pride aside and say I swooned by this crooked sales person. He lied about many things to get me to use their company. I was moving my whole house and had a 600lb safe that I was assured they could handle. I was told they had expensive hydronic stair dolly to be able to move it. They neither had the ability nor the hydronic dolly. Long story short..they guys dropped the safe down the stairs and nearly killed one of the movers. I don’t blame the movers because it was not their fault. They were neither trained nor given the proper equipment to move the safe. They told us that it was insured. We submitted all he photos etc and it’s over a year and a half later and I’m still out the $1500 I had to pay to get my stairs repaired. They don’t care about me as a customer or their employees safety. If I had contact with the guy who almost got killed, I might pursue a lawsuit but finding him is probably near impossible. This is negligence in the highest degree.

The first time I hired this company I would have given them a 4 rating but this time was like it was a diff company. They were suppose to come on Monday and I rescheduled for Tuesday afternoon but they put it in wrong and she admittedly put it in for Tuesday morning but then she called and said it would be afternoon anyway .. all good, then they told me 1pm,4pm, and 8pm before rescheduled for Tuesay at 11 then they rescheduled for 130pm and at 230 they show up. By this time we had already taken 3/4 of the boxes up and all that was left was a couch, chair, table n chairs and a bed and 2 dressers and a book case. I had to buy air mattresses for the night they didn't show up. So I asked them to take something off the $400 bill, they flat out refused, they could have at least taken 20 off or anything but no the GM Tony refused to.I let them keep the $100 deposit and went with Murfreesboro Movers for a cheaper price and way less hassle

Worst experience with a moving company. The team that arrived to load up our storage unit was late. They just threw things into the truck and broke a few items. It was only one 10x15 but it took them over 3 hours to load it up. When I called to talk with someone about the broken items, was told to send a email with pictures, which I did. Never heard from them again. It has been over 90 days with a few emails that I sent.....they just ghosted me . The most unprofessional team ever. They should be more selective on who they hired. They don't care if your things are damaged by their workers....they will not respond to you. It is an embarrassment and shame that they do not take care when loading. If you want slow and damaged items go with them but I definitely would recommend other companies. Disappointed it the service and care I received.

We scheduled these guys to come out and move us on Friday. They said they would be out here between 12-4pm. We finally got a call at 5:45pm saying they would not be able to get to us because they had crew issues. They told us they would prioritize us for the next day. Fast forward to the next day. We never get confirmation about a crew coming out. The owner finally calls us back to say that he had a crew coming and wanted to know if we were still needing their services. Of course we did!! It is now 5:51pm and nothing. The owner is not responding anymore. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. They will leave you high and dry and they could care less about leaving you in a bind. I would give -5 stars if I could. Customer service is terrible and just a complete lack of empathy for the customer.

These guys are awesome, I only wish I had found them sooner. I am a 20 year retired disabled army veteran, and these guys are taking care of everything they promised and more Gary and Raven have you will be getting your company a whole lot more business I would recommend them to everyone again I pray that everyone reads this really wanna know that this is a true from the heart review. I live just outside of Ft Campbell and we have just moved into a new subdivision that is filled with military, Blackhawk Moving will be getting rave reviews from us and the highest recommendation possible.

We hired this company and requested three men and agreed to prepay since our move was same day. We were told the amount was $225/hr for two hours and travel fee of $150 for a $600 total. The movers got there and started the clock at 10:45 but had us sign the paperwork to start at 11:00, with one man and one woman. The third person arrived at 11:30, 45 minutes later but we were charged a 3 man rate for that first 45 minutes!! Lastly, we finished the job at 12:45, exactly two hours and should have owed nothing but they tried to charge us an extra $225! Do not use this company as they are either not good at their billing or they intentionally try to “nickel and dime” their customers.

I moved from Delray Beach Florida to Nashville Tennessee and had to move in a hurry I didn't have a clue as to who to call for a moving company, but I had a friend who who had just done a big move an I asked who he used, and he recommended Black Hawk, it was the way he recommended them that caught my attention right away, I could tell that he had a good experience. The next I called Black Hawk where was greeted by a man named Jimmy and he ran down how everything work. I tell you everything he told me happened that way from the truck pulled up and the three got to load it, to the time it was unloaded in Nashville and the truck drove away. Movers showed smelling like pot. They packed heavy items on top high value item furniture, severly damaged a washer (less than 2 years old), dented the dyer, destroyed the inside of cross fit jump box, and ruined a large weighted blanket. They damaged an entire entertainment center by loading in the side. Neither items are functional. This was despite loading instructions and us providing the furniture pads and moving blankets. They still have not addressed or reimbursed for damages. It's been over one month. I would strongly recommend using a different moving company.

I booked an appointment for move and paid $200.00 deposit. I called very next day to cancel and was told i couldnt recieve my deposit back . She proceeded to talk over me and said i can use them anytime in future and it would be applied to move. I moved from dickson tn and company is naahville. Now, i need a move from lexingyon tn, BUT I HAVE TO PAY THEIR DRIVE FROM NASHVILLE AND BACK. This is complerely unethical bci could get local movers and not pay as much!!! I will take these ppl to small claims cohrt!! wAtch put for this company!!! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will OVERCHARGE your car PRIOR to completing the service. They broke so many of my items and did NOT fix them. They charge for basic items like wrapping your furniture.. which is included with every other moving company. And then they don’t tell you there’s a charge for it until afterwards. They arrive 4 hours after the “estimated” time. They also were under equipped. 4 men showed up with one dolly.. I can go on and on but never use them. Go with a REPUTABLE COMPANY!! They are a bunch of scam artist!

Worst service ever! They did not come on the scheduled date or time, they make lots of excuses, they did not bring tools to help me assemble my things as stated in the introduction, they kept dropping my items, the workers are not actual movers not do they seem to understand their assignment prior to taking it, and then I went to finalize my storage unit after the workers finished, only to find broken glass everywhere. The receptionist makes excuses for everything and I wouldn’t recommend their service to anyone!

Black Hawk moving helped me make a move from Louisiana to Dallas Texas during a brutal Freeze! Tonya, who answers the phones, was extremely helpful with keeping me updated & rescheduling since I couldn't drive the uhaul on icy roads due to safety concerns. They sent the guys over almost as soon as I finally arrive from my journey and they were very professional and unloaded everything within a couple of hours. I would 100% recommend them for a move anytime. One more thank you to Tonya who's awesome!

Jimmy and his crew helped us on two separate days, and did a fantastic job. Easy to work with, professional, and skilled at what they do. They even were able to get me in on a same day call; they came right over, and got it done in less than 3 hours. I had some huge, really difficult to move items, and Jimmy and his crew came in and made it look easy. If you need professional movers who care about the quality of their work, schedule ahead of time and ask for Jimmy and Justin! You won’t regret it!

They will charge u for an extra hour if u are moving from central time to eastern .I call that stealingThey said I not correct we started at 930 central time snd ended at 850 eastern time so that is an extra hour charge I have proof what time we left there cause I helped the movers cause we had to be out by 9 and we were running short on timewe started in hopkinsville kentucky ended in lexington Kentucky and hour change difference !!!!!!

Worst moving company. DO NOT USE!!!. Overcharged for move. Never provided final Invoice only estimate. Have proof of time of arrival and departure of movers on ring doorbell. Will not return calls or check GPS on trucks. Broke furniture. Sent pictures and claim form. No response from company. Filed Complaint to BBB. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Dishonest and not responsive.

They were 8 hours late for pickup. Trashed a number of boxes that were prepacked. Broke tables and lost items. They were more than 6 hours late with delivery. Just piled boxes in the living room did not assemble any of the furniture. This was a 4 hour move that took them 9 hours . offered no satisfaction!!! DO NOT HIRE

Anthony and Kevin showed up and loaded everything in just 2 hours, wrapped the furniture, packed the truck, handled everything with care. Jimmy booked the fastest opening to move everything. Really an excellent job by everyone, I can't thank you all enough. Highly recommend.
