I have worked with them to. move my stuff to my storage .. I spoke on the phone with Marcus and I was very clear about my budget.. of course he was very communicative when we started the work.. He asked me to FaceTime him so he can a price for me.. my actual budget was 900$.. after negotiating back and forth on the price ( I have txts saved ) we agreed on 1000 and there will be extra 200 in case I used more wrapping things .. so we agreed on flat rate 1200 maybe less but never more - keeping in mind he sees everything on FaceTime.. I gave him my credit card information .. I was busy and I had my assistant watching over the job been done. I even paid extra 100$ for lunch to the workers. at the end of the day, I got. call from a lady saying that they are going to take 1700 out of my bank account - they claim that ( I KEPT EXTRA PADS ) I was not there to keep them. I was not informed before they charged me nor I was giving the choice to agree/disagree on the charges .. it is like someone comes to your house and drop something that you didn't even request or need or have the choice, and because they have access to your money? they gonna give it you weather you like it or not and going to take your money! I got really upset and I have been trying to contact them none stop and I even asked to speak to the owners, but they keep saying the VP Justin will call me, and he never did. Just because its not tons of money but this again the law and the honesty of the business.. I actually got a txt from Marcus saying he will refund ( 200 ) only.. I was not happy at all, I have txts and contract on flat rate of 1200 and I do not want nor wish to pay for what I didn't agree or request. They say all phone calls are recorded? I hope so, because I already spoke to an attorney and this is what he says ( if someone takes your credit card and uses it without permission, that's considered fraud. It doesn't matter whether they're family, a friend, or a complete stranger. Legally, you can only be held liable for $50, as per the Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA). he also advised to leave a public comment abut it ... So I authorized what we agreed on and the rest is a fraud. So I hope you fix this problem before I move legally with it. I will be happy to submit my txts with Marcus, contact and final charges.

I wish I could have given them 10 starz. They not only move you, they help with the coordination of moving utilities. We had Black Tie Movers, move us yesterday. I had called previously and gotten an estimate. The gentleman that I talked to had me walk through the house and identified the large items and an estimate of how many boxes we had. Based on that he gave me an estimate. Yesterday they called and notified us that they were on their way as promised .Showed up at 8 as promise with 2 trucks 4 men and and started moving us. When they started moving they walked us through the house and identified fragile items which items went in which bedrooms , how long it would take them to do it. They then proceeded to move us. I couldn't have asked for a better crew or more efficiency than this crew was.. They wrapped my fragile antiques they loaded the handful of things we hadn't Rapped properly. They worked fast constantly never took a break never goofed off they just went about their business and you could tell they knew their business well.. It took 4 hours to load They then broke for lunch and showed up at the new home at the appropriate time and unload it. Well, As unloading they put every Box and every item in the appropriate room.. Since I am 86 and can use some help, they even set up my bedroom for me. My bed is an adjustable bed and they set it up so that I could get a good night's sleep. Every item was placed where we wanted it against which wall we wanted it how we wanted things face They couldn't have been better they just did a fabulous job. As far as Cost, the estimate that I was giving was met nearly to the penny and when I say nearly I mean it was penny's UNDER the estimate.. If I were to ever move again which I hope I'd never have to do I would definitely use Black Tie Movers they are more than efficient , more than friendly, more than competent and very considerate of your belongings . If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

Extremely disappointed with my experience! I booked 3 movers and requested packaging supplies plus help packing. The morning of my move, only 2 movers arrived, with zero packing supplies. My boyfriend had to unexpectedly run and buy all supplies so that we could proceed. To move my one bedroom apartment (just one mile away) took over EIGHT hours, I assume since there were only two movers. While the men that showed up were nice, one of them did break my wall accent mirror, only to pretend as if nothing happened. When we called to speak with someone about the errors with our move, we were told we would get a call back to make things right - we never did. My move cost over $1200, and frankly, I have had more professional experiences with independent contractors for almost half that price. I'd recommend taking your business elsewhere!

We just moved to TX from out of state. I reached out to Black Tie Moving to arrange for them to unload our moving truck. Their rates are reasonable and the service they provided was exceptional. Very responsive via text, email, and calls. They provided multiple contact numbers, including the General Manager of our region, for me to call at anytime if there was anything I might need. We had to change our move date a couple of times and this was not a problem for them. The date and time I requested was given without question. Our movers, Vance and Q, showed up exactly when they said they would and finished unloading quickly with no damage to any of our belongings. In fact, I have already booked them for another job in a few weeks. I would recommend Black Tie Moving without hesitation.

I’m the first to admit when I’m wrong and I was wrong to think Black Tie Moving would leave me unsatisfied with the results of my move, the claims representative reached out to me very quickly in response to my issue after the move was completed they apologized for any inconvenience and reassured me they will take care of my issue. They are quickly proving to me they are unlike other moving companies I have used in the past. So far so good BTM backs up their reputation as the top leader in moving companies. As a customer at times we have to be mindful no one is perfect mistakes still exist and can happen but it’s the real A+ companies like Black Tie Moving that will continue to get my business because they make it right.

This is our second (and hopefully final!) move using black tie moving company. Quality employees, if not better, just like during our move 2 years ago! They never fail to meet our expectations. Even during the hottest weekend with a temp of 107 degrees and a power outage in the neighborhood, they worked quickly and efficiently. They moved our belongings with much care and moved them into their designated rooms rather than just dropping it off in the main area. They were very professional and the communication was wonderful! They are our go to guys when it comes to moving and wouldn’t look elsewhere. We would definitely recommend them to anyone else that wants their belongings taken care of! Exemplary star service!!

This is to the owner comments below about the pads that I was charged for without my permission! Google won’t give option replay to his comment. I do not live in Dallas anymore. As it is not my responsibility to deliver to you what you dropped off and changed me without my consent. Your team should get in touch with me asap and I will grant them access to the unit to take them and I will have my assistant be there should need further help! I have requested your staff to put me in touch with you many times but they didn’t! This is not about the dollar. It’s about the principal. Thank you!

Be very careful using their services. They broke my 85 inch tv by mishandling it and pushing it on the side just to they can fit it to the elevator now they say it was not in a box so it is not covered but it is their employees who choose to push it and mishandle it to make it fit an elevator. They also took many breaks during the day but reported just 1 hour break (they did not work for at least 2-3 hours). If you book them RECORD everything !!! video and audio, in TX it is legal to record with one side consent so you are good legally. Better yet, DO NOT USE their services.

Our new building recommended that we reach out to Black Tie Moving to arrange our move in Dallas, TX. Their rates are reasonable and the service they provided was exceptional. They were very easy to reach pre-move via text or call, answering all of our questions. Our movers, Roosevelt, GG, Alex R. and Randre showed up on time to pack and move us - they were friendly, professional, and took great care of our belongings. We couldn't be happier with the ease of our move. We would recommend Black Tie Moving without hesitation.

These guys ar ROCK STARS! Very professional and respectful- never have seen a harder working group. Each person pulling his own weight helping each other. What a team! Mario is an amazing team lead as well… he works with the team and sets the tone and pace. It is 107 degrees here this afternoon and they never slowed down or complained. This is the second time we have used Black Tie movers and they are the best. If we ever move again (unlikely) we would not hesitate to call on Black Tie Movers!

This is the 5th or 6th time Black Tie Moving has moved me or my mother and although each time they have done a great job the crew today of Francisco, Mike and Kevin were the best! They were fast and efficient but very careful with our furniture and belongings. They were also very pleasant to be around, moving is stressful and they helped make the day more bearable. Would highly recommended them!

Over all we were very happy with Black Tie. The packing team were thorough (but VERY expensive, will use an alternate method next time) and the 4-person crew on move day were excellent. 10 hours solid. I would have given 5-Stars but I discovered that the crew were helping themselves to cold drinks from the fridge. I would have been fine with it if they had asked! The bottles were for my kids.

A friend recommended Black Tie to us after doing hours of research. They were super professional and diligent with wrapping our furniture and art. It was pouring rain our entire move and they were still able to keep our apartments dry and clean. Definitely don’t need to find another mover! My move was so easy. The movers showed up on time. Charles, the lead mover, made sure I was satisfied with packing and moving my personal belongings. All three guys were personable. They quickly packed up my stuff, and quickly unloaded at my new location. I would highly recommend Black Tie Movers to everyone. A classy company all the way around.

Got our small office move done in 3 hours, and it went smoothly. Pricing was very reasonable. We would use them again.

Trystan, Devin, Raphael were all exceptional when it came to our (very tedious) double move; five stops all together, one with three flights of stairs; and they were nothing but kind, courteous, and honestly impressive in their abilities to get the job done and deal with all of our needs.
