SCAM ALERT Unfortunately this was the first restaurant upon arriving in Brussels. It gave us a bad taste for every restaurant we ate after. We looked at the menu outside and saw some of the “specials” they had on the board. We walked in a they seated us and gave a menu. First, they only offered us the expensive menu, we asked them for the menu that was posted outside, thats when things went downhill. The menu appeared to be the same but the dishes and prices were not the same. We specifically saw a grilled chicken outside and the new menu only had a fried chicken. We told them we wanted the grilled chicken and they said okay sure. When the chicken arrived, they gave us the fried chicken, we asked them we wanted the grilled chicken and the waiter said, with an angry voice, “That is chicken”. I told them we wanted Grilled chicken, he then grabbed the dish forcefully and brought it back to the kitchen. After a few minutes, he literally dropped the grill chicken onto the table. At this point, we were not happy, we asked for the bill and another surprise awaits. The price for the grilled chicken was not as advertised on the board. We argued over the price and he said the board was a mistake. I requested that he honored us the board price and he said NO. We argued for a bit and he grabbed a marker and changed the price on the board. We argued again and finally I gave in and just paid and left. Next day, I went back to see the “correct” price was erased. Scamming new customers…

We liked the restaurant. Fast and pleasant service, delicious dishes, prices are the same as in the menu indicated. I was pleasantly surprised by the menu (the presence of several languages in the menu). We ordered snails 18 euros/6 pieces and lunch mussels, which were served with french fries (we took one for two and we had enough) 15 euros / lot. I liked everything, although I would add a little more garlic. Нам ресторан сподобався. Швидка та приємна обслуга, смачні страви, ціни такі ж як і в меню зазначено. Приємно здивувало меню (наявність кількох мов в меню). Ми замовляли равликів 18 євро/6 шт та ланч мідії, які подали з картоплею фрі (ми взяли один на двох і нам вистачило) 15 євро/багато шт. Все сподобалось, хоча я б додала ще трохи часнику.

Echoing what others have said here. We were tired and hungry after a long day of travel. We saw a sign posted for steak frites for 15 euro so we sat down, got two beers, water, and two ‘steak frites’. First, they give you a higher priced menu than advertised. Second, the steak had no seasoning at all and the portions were ridiculously small. Neither steak was cooked correctly. The frites were just a small bowl of lukewarm fries. Then, when we went to pay the waiter said cash only. We were shocked. We argued with him and he asked us to come inside where we finally paid with a card. The total was $45 euro. Avoid this restaurant.

This restaurant is terrible. They tried to overprice for us even though they served us such a mean paella. I insisted we didn't order special paella which is 45 euro, we just order simple paella which is 25 euro. I put 25 euro and drink fee on a table and tried to get out of this crazy restaurant. Then, they grabbed my arm hard, and "pay!!". I was like "what a horrible guy". I said like "don't touch me" and " I'm gonna call police". However, they still garabbed me. So I took my last resort which I shout loudly " This is crazy restaurant!! Be careful guys!!" Finally, the owner gave up, and they released me. I felt so horrible and STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND.

Une arnaque ! Le restaurant affiche des prix à l'entrée qui ne sont pas ceux sur la carte ! Au lieu de payer mes moules marinière à 12€, je les ai payées 22 €! Impossibilité de commander une carafe d'eau, il faut payer l'eau en bouteille (5euros). Et surtout, impossibilité de payer chacun son plat par carte bleue, resultat il a fallu payer une tablée de 11 en une seule carte. Les serveurs peu aimables semblaient nous eviter et nous servaient d'un pas nonchalent. Aussi des remarques hostiles envers les français se sont échappées de leurs bouches "Le problème avec les français c'est qu'ils demandent toujours des carafes d'eau!". À ÉVITER ABSOLUMENT !

They have probably learned from mistakes. We were served very well, also the white wine was served ex gratia. The price included waffels which we didnt wanted as we were already full with seafood and fries (btw delicious one). So they gave us instead the take-away waffels and asked for the full price instead of shortening the price what we kind of expected. Still - it makes sence to follow your expenses anywhere.

Si je pouvais donner un 0 je donnerai. Nourriture surgelé, ambiance mafieuse, très cher, aucune préoccupation avec les clients. C'est mentalité arnaqueuse qui s'interesse seulement à l'argent. Les plats spécialités belges sont pas du tout véritables c'est surtout surgelé dégueulasse sans goût. Plus jamais. À fuir

Horrible restaurant, we asked about one seafood’s price, and waiter said u could read it from menu. It is french so I could only understand the price which is 45 euro. After we finish, they said it was 45 euro per person. Very horrible restaurant. The owner is super shady. Be careful!!!

Having haggled the price down to a much more reasonable amount than the ridiculously high sticker price, the food was ok. We got the paella in which although the seafood was cooked well, the whole dish was vastly underseasoned. Wouldn't visit again.

Restaurant géré par des arnaqueurs, nourriture a vomir ! Nourriture congelé sans aucun goût et plein d'eau ! Je n'est rien mangé ils n'ont rien dit , ils n'ont même pas proposé un solution ou si j'avais bien aimé. N'y dépensé pas votre argent...

El peor restaurante en el que he estado en mi vida. Había una rata dentro, es carísimo y la comida poca y horrible. Servicio pésimo, tardan una eternidad estando vacío.

Alerta! Estafa! Menú de 18€ que se lo cuelan a turistas y parece un menú infantil. Sin platos que ofrecían, servicio horrible, comida que nos dió dolor de estómago (ni se os ocurra comer el gofre que ofrecen de postre).

Buena Atencion muy amables y la comida tipica pero rica !! Pero carisimo para lo que comes!

The absolute worst. Horrible service which culminated with the waiter yelling at another couple instead of bringing us our bill after we finally got his attention

Not much ambiance but food is reasonably good.... But expect to be up sold on higher end dishes such as paella with lobster. Look for Simon... He speaks English

Bad food, and high prices. If you do not ask for the prices before you order, you pay double. The worst experience in Brussels. Never again. Stay away!!!
