"One of my favorite grocery stores in Brooklyn"
This place seems to have literally everything from fresh cooked food to specialty baking flours. Everytime my wife asks me to pick up a specialty item for an unusual dish, if I have any trouble finding it then I check here and so far I've had 100% success rate. If this place were local to me I'd be here a lot more often!
Very convenient supermarket for the neighborhood. Prices are a bit on the high side, but not the worst when considering their full array of offerings and the generally nice atmosphere in the store. They have pretty much all the groceries I need here and also make great deli sandwiches at the counter. Give it a shot!
This place has an amazing assortment of fresh hot food in addition to their regular fare. As a cook, the wide variety of meats, cheeses and groceries are top notch. The only downside would be the deli service. They're usually short staffed. So, if you want deli meat, get that first. Overall, a great place to shop.
Terrific grocery store with many great choices. Fresh cheeses, vegetables, meats etc.... Prices are reflective of a smaller shop, but the service is good. Nice bakery section and good produce section. Packaged food has many options. They have a nice selection of house made salads as well as a fresh salad bar.
One of my favorite grocery stores in Brooklyn. Great selection, high quality options. Their prepared food is really good. Prepare to be a little confused by the layout the first time you visit. It's a bit of a maze. Huge bonus: incredible chocolate selection, right before you check out.
Great quality supermarket with hot and cold take out meals made in house and sandwiches. Sushi bar is great and dessert area. Fresh produce. Wish they didn't take away the fish and butcher area. A little on the expensive side but there are always nice deep discounts on some days .
Good option for groceries if you're not in the mood for trader joes and whole foods. Food is priced somewhere in between TJs and WF but their quality control is on point. They also have a good variety in case you are someone who likes to try different brands from all over.
Excellent produce and meat selections. They even carry Jenkins Jellies (go for the Hellfire flavor). It’s an upscale grocery store so the prices are higher. The staff is nice and there are several self-check-out registers. A solid ice cream and ice-pop selection too.
This supermarket makes the sloppiest sandwiches ever food was made with no care everything falling out the bread they also put a ton of salt an pepper which made me feel like I was eating a salt sandwich the meat was not cut it was like they gave me a block of ham
Good grocery store, wide selection of just about everything packed in there. Some items are average price, but some seem to cost more than what you'd find elsewhere. It's possible to navigate to find more reasonable stuff though. The layout
The male manager on duty today at 6:30 pm is the reason I won’t be shopping here anymore. Yes, the location is really convenient, and yes, I knew the prices were higher than any other grocery store in the area, but the line was crossed for
Seriously health department has to come to this supermarket.once again I see the guys putting away boxes or organizing behind the counter where they make sandwiches and he didn’t even thought of changing his gloves. I have complained about
I was treated as a thief today shopping at this location! They asked to check my receipt and bags out of all customers because I'm not the same race as she (manager) is; she just walked away without apologizing after finding me innocent. I
Extremely well stocked grocery store with a great selection of upscale items like cheese, craft beer, hard to find produce, etc. Highly recommend coming here if you want a specialty item. Being up front though, the prices have become quite
Avoid if possible. Feels like a scam because every single item is overpriced but If you have to go because it is convenient then I recommend you to always check the price of each item and take a picture. Almost every time I go, the marked
In my opinion, Brooklyn Fare is awful. Any positives (excellent ice cream section) are outweighed by the negatives. So many negative experiences. Fortunately, there are numerous alternate options, local and national, for shopping within a
I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were. The staff was pleasant, polite and very helpful. The security guard saw me with my arms foll and came with a basket. The ladies at the bakery helped me getting a cheesecake and
Having been in the neighborhood for years I can’t begin to explain how poor this store is. Customer service is nonexistent. A bunch of people follow you around as if you’re going to steal, which is understandable but at least say hi. Your
Great grocery, I’ll give them that. I’ve shopped often for organic food and jeni’s ice cream. But their flowers are so over priced and always a huge disappointment!!!! Two Valentine’s days in a row my sweet hubby got me flowers and sadly
Misleading labels, overpriced items. My family lives around the neighborhood - on a visit I went in just strolling by. Saw a sale for coconut water, but the brand that was placed on the shelf with the sale was a different brand that was
You’re more than likely to see a homeless person trying to steal food in this place than a butcher counter or a seafood counter. If you want refrigerated crab, grab the empty can in the meat area that refers you to the non-existent meat
Love love love the produce, organization, and cleanliness of this store. However the security guard— who identifies himself as the “head of security” who “only works Wednesday thru Saturday”— is one of the most incompetent, inefficient
Brooklyn Fare is awesome! It’s like a sprinkle of Trader Joe’s with a dab of Whole foods but with better produce and great lunch specials. I’m from Queens but I work in the area. The sandwiches, gourmet food, snacks, fruits vegetables,
Great neighborhood supermarket with extensive cheese collection, fun local products like Brooklyn perogies and all you need for your daily cooking! Staff is really nice & lines are never long. Highly recommend you stop in to shop here.
Just like that…from 3 stars to 1 (should be Zero stars). So I went to Brooklyn Fare today. I saw this pistachio baklava that I wanted to try for the longest. It was much more expensive than I thought it would be ($6.99 for 6 little
Love this grocery store and it’s close by the home and the food is really fresh here and the service is always great.the greeter guy holds my dog for me sometimes when I need to grab a bite real quick great experience! …
Pros: Great, eclectic gourmet selection of goods Con: A big one which in my opinion cancels the pro. Their product markdowns/sales rarely reflect at the cash register (they have sales posted and still charge
Several packs of old cheese in bloated packages just sitting with the rest of the cheese. This brand of cheese is shrink wrapped so for the packaging to be puffy means
Everything here is a good $2 than where it would be anywhere else. Insultingly expensive for the same brands you can get at any other grocery in the area.
I live right down the street from here they've, help me as a neighbor, many times. But not a supermarket for the unsavory shopper, you Got'ta go in there
Prices are insane. I only go here if I'm looking for something super specific; otherwise Trader Joe's is like half the price for a lot of normal items.
Used to be good but now just sloppy. I could not find any organic pork or beef on a Tuesday’s 7pm. Everything in meat and seafood section looks old.
Excellent selection and good prepared foods. A little pricy. My big issue is that the packaged produce (mixed greens, arugula, cherry
Not bad for location. Fresh deli and love the juices and sushi. They have a lot of variety as well.
The Brooklyn fare is just that a fare u got to get in the to it's just a great experience …
An excellent high end supermarket serving the neighborhood for more than 10 years.
delivery trucks regularly illegaly blocking the bike lane
A little pricey but they have a large variety of items
Prices are to high there's never any good deals
Nice selection. Fresh produce
