Do not shop here. Christie as I entered tried to take my back pack and tell me it was store policy. Which is for students to leave a backpack. I am a grown adult and have no reason I should have to give my valuables to a stranger. I was treated like a vagrant and as though I were a shoplifter. I will be calling corporate when they open. Why would I trust someone I don't know to watch valuables worth more than their check. Absolutely not. And she said her company makes her leave her bag too. If Christie's company doesn't trust her why should I
So I went here to buy advil got followed around the store .by bord employees then I bought a 5 hour energy. they wanted to see my ID to buy 5 hour energy there is no law on the book saying there's a age limit to any caffeinated drinks what they're doing is illegal I don't understand why they need my identity to buy an energy drink As of right now in Portland Oregon Saturday January 2023 there's no law on the book saying there's an age limit It may be their policy .but it's illegal ill be challenging in court .I'm 60 years old
Friendly staff who are always welcoming and often ask if I need help finding an item. Just keep in mind that some of the shelves are often times empty or missing products due to it being in a high/heavy theft/homeless area. I can see that the employees and staff are trying their best given the crazy situations they deal with daily. Even so, they’re always kind to me whenever I walk in.
Friendly and helpful staff. That being said, this is the saddest and most run down CVS I’ve ever seen. Half the shelves were empty, the front is boarded up, and there are crates all over the store. Looks like it’s about to close down. I don’t get why CVS would maintain a location this bad. I’m sure they blame shoplifting but it cannot possibly be this bad. Just a real sketchy vibe.
This CVS is in what is now a pretty rough part of Portland - the staff was so kind. A woman came in and asked if they were still giving out free masks - the clerk gave her two of the good ones. The photos I'd ordered didn't have a bar code for some reason - they gave them to me for free. A bright spot by Pioneer Square!
Don't go here, go to the Target two blocks down the street that also has a CVS inside that's actually stocked. I imagine this one is probably going to close soon anyway. Went in to look for some nail polish and many of the shelves on the 2nd floor makeup section were totally bare. Went to Target and it was stocked.
I hope the employees in pharmacists get hazard pay here. The whole place smells and is dirty and it's definitely not their fault. They could be cleaning 24/7 and still have a stink of downtown Portland throughout the whole store. It's not their fault. It's just sucks down there now
There is nothing wrong with the store. It's a perfectly fine store to shop at. It's just like any other normal cvs. The only problem was back in June 2021, there was a maskless cashier. If there was no maskless cashier, this place would probably have a decent rating.
This is a weird CVS for an inner city CVS! Ground floor is like a subpar 7-11 style food convenience store. Upstairs is more like a normal CVS but there are stocking crates staked all over, and tons of empty shelf spaces/lack of stock.
Prices were different than what was labeled. It wasn't just in the store on the website it stated one price and can only be bouth in store. Store label matched what was on the site. Yet when purchasing, it was more.
The shelves were almost completely empty. I came in looking for something to drink and all they had were a few energy drinks. There was no water or soda. Shelves throughout the store were just empty.
About fifty percent of the staff are really friendly and helpful and the other fifty percent need encouragement with a cattle prod. Everyone that works in the pharmacy is great. No complaints there.
Shelves are empty all over the store. Often only CVS brands are available. Vitamin racks are empty often. Pharmacy is fine. I often leave without what I was shopping for. A real mess.
Excellent service at this location, I needed to purchase a print from a photograph on my iPhone and the associate walked me through the entire process in a very friendly manner
This CVS blows! One of the employees accosted me, accused me of stealing and, quite aggressively, took all the tea I was trying to buy to the front counter.
If you are traveling to downtown Portland come to the CVS here. They have a great selection of thing you will need for your hotel. It is the best option.
Wow! The pharmacist here was amazing - so helpful in ordering a new prescription for my daughter and her communication was above and beyond. Thank you!!
Horrible. Shelves are empty and virtually no security. People with obvious drug problems and mental issues have taken over this location
In town for a conference and had a need to fill a prescription. They had it filled quickly and the pharmacist was very friendly.
You can’t call yourself a pharmacy if you have literally no menstrual products. Absolutely idiotic wish I could give zero stars
I was in and out and literally 20 min you got all my problems my prescription filled no issues. Way better than the ER.
The staff are nice considering the working conditions. You need an employee to open up the cases. Stock is always low
The shelves were almost bare and I only found half of what I needed. Go to a different store.
I was shocked to see next to nothing on the shelves. Not sure why this location is even open
Google maps shows open until 10pm but went by at 8:30 and they were closed.
I like that the store is near a MAX stop. The pharmacy staff are amazing!
Found everything I needed with Yana, made the shopping trip much easier
Closed before 10pm. Showed up and doors were locked, gates down.
Very nice staff and lots of options, honestly best staff ever
Quick to transfer a refill for me. I’m super grateful!
Prices are double that of Target a few blocks away.
This is like some brightly lit bodega, not a CVS.
This is basically a food mart with nothing else.
Great service. Thank you Quincy for helping me.
Go somewhere else unless you have no choice
Thers drugs in here. And Fritos
Not open during posted hours
The staff was very helpful.
Only half stocked.
No public restroom
Friendly
