If you don't need whatever it is you're ordering right away, and if you don't necessarily need any communication about your order whatsoever, and also, if you don't care about whether the funds you're spending on that item are actually taken from your account so that you don't have to watch your spending very carefully so as not to over spend and end up not having the amount needed for that purchase, then go ahead and place your order! But if you care about any of the things I just listed, source your product elsewhere. Ordered a $2k laptop on 8/5. Confirmation received with order number. Funds subtracted from my checking account. On Sunday, 8/12, my checking acct suddenly had $2k more than it did that morning. The first call was to my bank, because surely someone over there had made a big mistake. When I figured out it was the computer, I had a mild panic attack thinking that my order had been canceled. I start shopping frantically for an alternative. Monday morning, I call in and was told, no, my order is not canceled, it's just that the hold on my funds was released. WHY??? Now I have to watch every penny in order to be sure the order amount is in there for when it does ship. Whenever that is... Now I'm told today that the computer is shipping on Friday, the 18th, but no idea what shipping method or even a tracking number. So something that I ordered 2 weeks ago is finally shipping the Friday before classes start. Will we even get it by Monday? I DON'T KNOW! Absolutely ridiculous way to do business. The least they could do is communicate their fulfillment times. Never again. * Edited to add: The manager's response said that I received an email, but that's not the case. So here's my response to the email that never came: Here's the thing. I've worked in technology channel sales for 25 years. In fact, I used to work for the company that JourneyEd acquired in 2000. I don't know if your fulfillment process is a by-product of contracting with JourneyEd for use of their portal and order fulfillment or if it's the campus store's process. Either way, it's poorly designed and leads to a bad customer experience. I had to contact my friend who still works for JourneyEd in order to even know when it was scheduled to ship. Every bit if information about my order I had to seek out myself - either by reaching out to my friend or by calling the store. THAT is ridiculous. A $2,000 laptop was shipped w/out any communication. It was supposed to have been delivered signature-only, but Fed Ex just left it on my doorstep. What if I hadn't been home? The answer should not be "that's our process." Because your process sucks and you should improve it.

Each time I’ve had to come here I’ve had bad experiences and it genuinely just gets worse each time. The individuals who work there usually are NO help what so ever. When I first ordered my computer here I had the worst experiences just trying to pick it up and each time I spoke with someone, it was some random kid who you could tell didn’t know what they were doing. A few months later after having my computer I go today to ask if they could help me fix my computer. One of the first questions I get is, “Is it charged?”. I received no help what so ever and was only told they could not help me. Honestly that place is hiring some of the most rude and incompetent people ever. Not only was I unable to get my computer fixed, but had no help what so ever. The only thing you’ll ever get from coming here are some rude 20 year olds who don’t actually know what they are doing, and lack basic communication skills. I try to be a patient person, but after several visits of the same experience something has to be said with the individuals they are paying to do quite literally nothing. Please do not go here, if you must then try speaking to an older individual. The older workers actually give help and know what they are doing. Overall, just disappointed with the customer experience and honestly unbelievable that some of these people are getting paid to not actually do their job other than being rude, ignorant, and providing no help. Please do not waste your time, money, or breath on these people.

I took my computer in and it ended up needing a new hard drive and heat sync. They said they had to order a part and didn't give me an update for over two weeks, which in this day and age seemed like a long time for a relatively standard part to come in, but maybe they just have a slow distributor. Wouldn't have been as big of a problem if it wasn't finals week, but you can't control when your computer breaks. The repairs went relatively okay, but my computer came back with a couple deep scratches on the cover. I take very good care of my computer, so the scratches really bother me and I can't fathom why a repair store (who deals with other people's computers all the time) would let not one, but two deep scratches in different places to happen to my computer and then HIDE them under the box that was rubber banded over my computer at pick up. I am very disappointed and will be telling everyone I know to stay away.

Trashy place. I really wish I could give this 0 stars. I had my laptop over there cuz I had a blue screen of death. The first technician couldn't fix it, so I transferred it to another one. The price was a bit too high, but at that moment, I really needed my laptop fixed. I gave it to her. She fixed the blue screen, but for some reason, my battery got messed up. So basically, if I didn't have my laptop charger PLUGGED IN to my laptop, it was gonna die because the laptop battery was that weak. It wasn't weak before the blue screen of death. I don't know if it was a laptop issue from the blue screen or if it was because these guys cheated me. I really didn't feel like giving it to them again. Their prices are also way too high in general compared to other stores. Anyway, I highly recommend to not go to this place if you have an issue with your laptop.

UT students, do NOT take your computer here. I had my laptop in here last summer for a charging problem and a cracked screen. The charging port had been replaced once already with no results. The tech responsible for my repairs ordered the wrong screen size and ordered a new charging port that never actually came in. When I called for an update after silence on their end for weeks, I was told my tech was on vacation for a few days and I would not know anything for 2 more days. My friend also took her computer here when it had problems and when she called for an update, they only started reading back the notes she provided them about what was wrong, and lost her laptop charger. DO NOT GO HERE.

Please use the campus computer store if you want to waste your time and money. Basically, you can buy MacBook at Apple store with the same price. There is no reason that you need to use here. Also, their expected shipping takes almost a month if they don't have it in stock. It took too long time so I cancelled my order but they charged it first then processed order anyway. I need to bring the laptop in order to get refund once I receive it. In fact, it is their process problem but they say like it's my faults haha. If you have a lot of time and get bored then I recommend using this store!

Never had a worst customer service. Bought a Dell Inspiron from them last year, it wasn’t after a month that it started failing, came to them to get it repaired and they never helped me, the warranty didn’t work either since they completely decided to ignore it. today was my last attempt to get it fixed, asked for them to open the record of my purchase so they could see the difference between the purchase date and the first request for service and the record was not even there. The laptop was aprox. 1100, and they are trying to charge me 354 for the repair

This is a surprisingly well-stocked computer store. It's mostly for UT students buying student-discount software and computers (Dell and Apple). However, they also have a good stock of mice, keyboards, webcams, cables, headphones, locks, etc. It's worth checking out if your other options are driving to a Best Buy or waiting for an online order. Prices are about the same as other brick and mortar shops. The service is a bit better. Their website is a little deceiving as only a portion of the products shown online are available from stock.

The staff is nice and they try to be helpful, but I have been disappointed by their quality of work. I am a busy student that depends on my laptop for most of my classes and extra curriculum that I do. I took my laptop there to get it repair (the screen would freeze), they told me it was going to take 5-7 business days to repair, it has been over a month with, what feels, no progress on the repair. They did let me borrow a laptop in the meantime, but for the work I do, I wish I had mine with my software and files.

My 11-inch macbook display had broke and would have cost over $300 to fix. Seeing as how i couldn't afford that or a new laptop, the store manager and team were so generous and gifted me with same laptop for free from what they personally owned. They really try to help us college students because they know what its like and have been in our shoes. I am very appreciative for what they did to me, they really do their best to help us fellow students out. I strongly recommend coming here with any laptop issues.

Waste your time at this place. False advertising on at least 2 matters No in store student discounts as advertized You can do the dicey, time burning mail in rebate and maybe get something back in 2 months. Plus even with the discount you are out full list and could get a better deal on Amazon without the ripoff rebate scam. Also no Lenovo units as advertised, only high priced models at full price. Plus, boss man ignores your statement of what you want and goes for the upsell.

  • Sarah Wilson

It has a lot of essentials for students and discounts to go with them. The staff is friendly and knows the basics. The tech team isn't the best though. I turned in my computer because of some RAM issues and they forgot about it. I had to email them 3 weeks later and they returned it to me same as before. Go to wherever you have your warranty to get things fixed. But as far as supplies goes, they've got good items.

  • Matthew R Heideman

The Campus Computer Store represents the gold standard of computer sales customer service. The staff will go above and beyond to make sure that you are a satisfied customer. Even in a supply chain shortage and through manufacturer’s shortcomings, Ray and the team at CCS were willing and able to make things right. I highly recommend making your next computer purchase at the CCS.

I have only had the best experience with Campus Computer Store. Andrew has always been very kind helpful and knowledgeable! I cannot say enough good things. They really took care of fixing my macbook and communicating the process as they waited for parts to be shipped. By far the best customer service. Much easier than going to the Apple store.

  • Emma Zawila

I wouldn't recommend this for repairs -- could be an exceptional case, but after a few months of a repair done by the store, my computer was broken with the original issue it had before the repair. When I brought it in, they said I shouldn't have the problem again as there was a faulty cord, which was replaced with a reinforced cord.

  • Katherine Karp

I gave an ambitious explanation for a piece of my computer charger I was missing. Even with my poor description and failure to bring in the charger, the campus store was able to find a used version of the exact piece I was missing and gave it to me! Such a great store with all kinds of products and outstanding customer service.

  • Kim Hsun

Cannot recommend the customer service in regards to repairs enough! They've fixed my Beats and my laptop under the one year warranty for no cost when Apple had been trying to charge me 900 dollars! They're also incredibly reliable and helpful, and I always get my laptop back faster from them than I do from an Apple store.

  • K Wood

Would give zero stars. Went to buy air pods and they were marked at $150 then when we checked out the air pods were more expensive then the sticker price. However, they could not honor the sticker price. Very bad costumer service very poor attention to detail.

  • Kristen Cox

Very knowledgeable staff. They spent the time to understand my needs and explain various Solutions to fit my needs. I spoke with multiple people and everyone was professional, courteous, knowledgeable. A great asset to have on campus!

  • Bri Bri

Bought something from them, which supposedly included a warranty, went back to the store said its not covered. I had issues with the product 1 day after purchase, went back to them nothing, now a few weeks later its practically dead.

  • Patricia Standring

Website doesn't say anything about not being able to repair certain types of laptops. And that information would have been useful before wasting my time going into the store. The staff was courteous, though.

  • Brayden Trinkle

Great service, but it advertises things that aren't exactly there so I won't want to give it that. I have a Dell computer but there's more of a selection of MacBooks than for things like Alienware

  • Emily Nejad

Shopping here was such a lovely and enchanting experience. All of the employees are so amazing, especially that one with the Edward Cullen name tag. 10/10 will definitely be shopping here again.

  • Rocio Nairi Garza-Gomez

Came in to get my battery replaced. They had it done in a hour and provided me with excellent customer service. I was able to bring my own battery replacement and only pay for the labor.

  • Ben Reid

Lied to me 2 times about delivery date of iPad for Christmas gift. Was assured I would receive it before Christmas. Nope. Now I have VERY little time to get this for Christmas.

  • Phuc Dinh

I had an enjoyable and smooth experience buying the adjustable laptop and phone holder. The staff are very nice and helpful, and they help me with the shopping experience.

Authorized to sell apple product but won't take back the returns if you break the seal, even if you opened in front of them. Great service! Keep it up!
