Will never, ever, again use Xpresspost. I needed to send legal documents to my lawyer so I took them to Canada Post in Hamilton Friday Feb 24 for 'next day service' to Mississauga. I paid extra for a signature hoping it would help ensure proper delivery. When the lawyer messaged me two business days later, I promised to look at the tracking, and found to my horror that it was in the process of being returned to sender. It wasn't until too late on Thursday March 2 that it showed up as available for pick up at the post office so I went Friday morning March 3. The worker at the First Place location on King was rude and dismissive, as well as unhelpful. She insisted there was nothing she could do about the fact that it had been correctly addressed and it was not delivered. Apparently I had to go back to the post office where I had sent it to talk to them. To add insult to injury, I had to pay a surcharge for Canada Post's error and incompetence in returning the item, just to receive it, so I could resend it. So I walked over to the UPS Store, and discovered in so doing that the only address visible anywhere online for that lawyer's office was the exact address I had given. There exists no suite number, as the Canada Post worker at the First Place location had claimed, so there was no way that it should have been returned. It cost me less for guaranteed next day shipping with UPS and I am much more confident it will actually be delivered. Not only will I never, ever use Xpresspost again, I will be sure to let everyone I know not to use this service.
Numerous Amazon packages delivered to this drop off point and every time I attempt to claim, I hit a snag with the clerks. Usually dismissive and rude. Today: I get my usual amazon notification stating "Use this code to pick up your parcel" and to bring valid photo ID that shares the order name. I scan my code and am then told for ID PLUS a piece of mail with my address. Absolutely nowhere on my order does it state I needed to have a piece of mail with my name and address. This was not a failed delivery, but an order placed DIRECTLY TO THAT DROP OFF POINT. Personal address should have nothing to do with this transaction. No other drop off point I have used has required this. I did manage to leave with my package after a calm debate and the usual rude dismissal.
My package was directed here for no reason. The delivery didn’t bother to come to my unit or gave me a call to follow-up whether I was home. I had a package to handover to someone who was travelling outside the country. I was so time sensitive with this package. I agreed to go to this location to pickup the item and they were closed. Google hours are incorrect. Management is careless. Manager I spoke to over the phone sounded like she don’t care and she can’t help me at all being a manager. Everyone here are careless. I would prefer any other post service but not this moving forward. Truely upset with the situation and the post office and cx service people. I would have rated them in negative if that was an option. They are not worth of anything.
Had a package redirected here for probably no reason at all. I stopped by on my way home from work to pick it up and they were closed! I called Canada Post to let them know and also rectify the situation because again, they brought my package here for no reason and I can't pick it up now with the reduced hours. The people who run this post location obviously never bothered to tell Canada Post that they reduced their hours 7 months ago! Google maps hours are wrong, as well as the email I got when my package was dropped off here. The agent on the phone didn't care at all to follow up about this.
Natalie is very professional and considerate. I made some mistake in delivery service but she would simply step up and help me when she was 0% responsible for this. I won't detail it here so people don't abuse her kindness. I was especially amazed because it was her first time serving me. Thank you very much for your hard work!! and too bad 5 stars is the max I can give.
So the incompetence and horrendous customer service continues here! Went to pick up a package and apparently they didn't get it and when we requested to contact their manager, the incompetent clerk said "there is nothing I can do". Get some new employees that actually belong in the customer service industry and aren't standing around clueless!
I needed to send a package and the person at this branch was extremely rude to me and other gentlemen. She seemed so angry at the world but she took her anger out on the customers and the drawers at the tables. It was very sad because we were nice to her and did not deserve this treatment. Except sometimes having to wait a few minutes for someone to come to the counter, I have no negative about this office. At least a dozen times I have used this without issue in the last 8 months. From Amazon packages to money orders..... just waiting 5-10 minutes or would be 5 star. Let them scan tracking, show drivers license and away I go.
Rude and not professional. Wanted to send some docs and was told a word “patience”. When I asked what do you mean by that. The next question was: “Do you know what word “patience” means....?” I just expected to hear how long (approximately) it will take to deliver the letter... No line-up at this location.
I still don't know why this place is allowed to have a Canada post office they are so incompetence they cannot seem to get it together
