Be careful with this store location. I bought a spot cleaner for curbside pickup from them that was defective and leaking dirty water from the bottom. When I asked to return it, they said they cannot take used product for a refund so I would have to get a replacement or store credit. So I got a replacement off the shelf. When I opened the replacement I realized that the first cleaner I had bought had been missing two attachments and was packaged differently than the new one. So what it looks like is that the store had sold me a used and defective product in the first place. So... Beware of curbside pickup and look at the packaging of your purchases. If the packaging tape looks the least bit suspicious, don't buy it. No disrespect to the worker who did the curbside. He was friendly. The returns staff are understandably pretty strict. And a note to us consumers: Please don't return stuff that is broken without clearly showing them that it is broken so it doesn't end up back on the shelf. Thank you Amazon for posting a pic of the same item with all attachments shown, although your price was higher!
Thank you, Britney and Nathaniel. I have been looking for saucers for my newly transplanted plants, and I was unable to find the saucers I was looking for, although on the website it says they are in stock. Nathaniel spent time multitasking, helping me and other customers. He figured the saucers could be at the back of their warehouse, and he looked and found them. He was great and an amazing person. He also helped me look for grow lights for my plants. When I was looking at the grow light box, I could not find the Noma phone number or customer service information. Britney took her time to give me the phone number and the product number. Noma Customer Service was not able to understand and help with my inquiry about their own product; however, Britney stood by me while multitasking, helping other customers, and finding out the answers to my inquiry. Britney was great, very helpful, and absolutely an amazing person. Thank you, Britney and Nathaniel. My plants’ grow lights and saucers have been processed and ready for me to pick up.
I would of given this store a four star based on the lady that helped me in the Party City section but unfortunately I was later greeted by an inconsiderate, sarcastic rude individual in the back of the store. My family and I were looking for a Shopvac, it looked like the store only had one left. That one box was already opened so we checked if it had all the parts. This individual accused my family of opening a box that was already opened and implied that we were stealing. The manager justified the accusation with, they had a lot of theft that day. I was so livid that I opened my bag to prove that I did not steal anything. I am new to the area and I am extremely disgusted by the behaviour of this employee. You cannot go around assuming that people are stealing or assume people opened boxes. This individual made this store lose a $400 sale because of his despicable behaviour. I am so disappointed with this experience that I will never go back to this store after that experience. SMH.
They call themselves Canadian but they take your bags at the door, have visible security as well as secret shoppers (probably the only "customers" you see straggling around). They make you feel like a crook before you even walk in. This is the only big retail store to do this and it makes me so uncomfortable. I'm not 16 shopping with my friend I'm an adult trying to spend hundreds of dollars at your store. The best part is the super unsafe dark parking lot, because why spend money on security for their customers in the parking lot when they can spend it all on loss prevention, let your customers get jumped walking to their car but god forbid a purse or bag is in the store!! I used to love shopping here, now I can't wait for them all to close.
Employees are friendly and helpful. the website is well maintained, and stock is up to date. I did have a little trouble finding an employee, (we're talking mere minutes to find one at most) but not worth taking a star off for that. I can't reasonably expect an employee in every aisle at every moment, that's just ridiculous. I asked an employee for help finding an item and they found it for me. when I got home I was curious so I checked the website and saw the stock had gone down from 2 to 1 which is nice that they keep it updated efficiently. great experience. I recommend checking their website for clearance items, you may just find a great deal.
I reviewed this location 10 months ago and gave them one star because how disorganized and cluttered this store was. I walked in there today for the first time after 10 months because the CT close to me has closed down temporarily after a fire. I was impressed with the change in this CT store. It’s organized and clean. The only reason I’m not giving them full five stars is because many many items in their seasonal and gardening areas are not priced. Too bad CT app is not working so I didn’t know what’s on sale but maybe I’ll go back to this location in the next few days if the app starts working again. For now, I got what I needed
Called ahead to see if they had an auto part that I was having trouble finding (they were my fourth call), gave my vehicle make/model and year, I was told there were two items that fit and what aisle they were in. Arrived at the store, located the items and neither one fit the model of my vehicle let alone the make! Went to the parts desk at which time he actually bothered to look it up and was informed that they don't carry that part for my vehicle period ... colossal waste of time! The whole point of calling ahead is to confirm that they have the part BEFORE driving there and going into the store. Pure laziness/incompetence.
Customer experience is less than appreciated. What company in 2023 of this size and capital, tells customers they have to go back to the original store to obtain a refund? I’ll add: on a product that was sold with missing pieces in the box. Went to another Canadian Tire store (thankfully not too far) and had no problems having our refund completed. This was all due to the store we first bought from being too far away and then product being “sold out” in all of them, locally. Got the refund, went to Home Depot all is fine now! Note to self! 100%!… And let their stock answer commence and go!….
Ample parking, everything is back in stocks. Be aware that many isles are obstructed, by boxes, items and ladders. Many items have no price tags, and it is difficult to find an employee for help, even when they do come, they try to walk away before you're done asking them questions. The security at the entrance is nice, however he smokes at the entrance, while asking you covid questions. Look for clearance items at the front of the store, be sure to read the labels to see why it's on clearance. Best deals are in the middle isles and front of the store.
Stay away ! Went there for corrosion free undercoating. They lifted the car and superficially coated the undercarriage. I do this undercoating every year, I got it done at another place and they were meticulous in removing all the underbody panels and sprayed all exposed metal, Just the way it’s supposed to be done. But , those guys at CT, did it superficially without removing the under panels , it was a waste. When I confronted them, the guy said , he did not remove the under panels because “that’s not the way he does things” I wasted money and time.
I had a really good experience with the Canadian tire here in the plaza! The staff went out of there way to help me when my car shut down! I was really flustered, emothional and bit frustrated with my car but all the staff were professional and very calm. It really helped me feel better and not judged! When my car was getting fixed it wasnt that expensive (which I thought it was going to be) and even though I didn’t know much about engine and battery stuff- the staff were very knowledgeable and were great help! Thank you Canadian tire team at Nash!
Store shopping great Garage Mechanics are unexperienced friend car fell of lift as it wasnt secured ,they lost the bolt on another friends oil release ,they wrote down wrong vin nuber when i was certifying my car sold my grandson wrong bike helmet for motorcycle also sold him wrong battery for bike the older guy that over sees this department needs to retire he also asked were I parked my car in the lot its not # lot i suggested he come out & look would never ever recommend this place to my worst enemy
Staff behaviour here seems hit or miss - some days very polite workers and other days very rude/condescending workers appear to be working. Prices are good when items are on sale, but online stock counts rarely match the actual in-store stock. You will be asked to remove your backpack when entering if you have one, and if you forget they will track you all over the store and speak to you rudely while acting like you did it on purpose even though you've already apologized. Women with large purses/totes are allowed though. Go figure.
Came here about a month ago to get some work done on my car. So grateful I chose this location. Austin was the customer service rep that helped me. He made me feel at ease, worked with in my budget, and took extra time to go over what was wrong. The team did the work very fast and I've noticed that a problem with my transmission mount being loose seems to have been fixed at no extra charge. I can't believe they just did that for free. The Mechanics are trustable and kind. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you!
The help desk staff is helpful, I have no problem with the people who work here... But the products are very hit and miss and of course the absolutely awful return policy means you lose your money no matter what. Being "refunded" not with your money back but with a card that restricts you to buying the same garbage products you returned is very dishonest and disappointing. I go to Home Hardware next door for everything now, they stand by their products.
I was helped today by a tall young man named Michael in housewares. We both looked on our phones for the item I wanted but it didn't seem to be there. Michael looked and looked and so did I. I was about to give up when he found it pushed way back. He brought them all forward and organized the row. It's great to see someone care about the look of the store and care about the customer. Kudos to his parents. Great service at this store as always.
I always tell my wife to take the cars in to Steve N (foreman)whenever there are issues with the vehicles and I am not around. Steve has proven himself to be honest and trustworthy over time. I don't have to worry about my wife being taken advantage or being mislead. Steve explains things thoroughly and does not create issues with the car in order to bill you more. Highly recommend you pay him a visit and see for yourself!
Went looking for decorations. we wanted some gold ones we saw some on a tree and took a couple down to see if they had any stock as nothing was on display. Got reprimanded by the store clerk. They had not taken out any for sale only for the tree, she was unwilling to see where they were either. Anyways, went to Barton everything was out and we bought all of our items from there. No more Queenston visits in the future.
Mike (the manager of the sporting goods section of this Canadian tire) is absolutely amazing. Fantastic customer service and always goes above and beyond to help out. I had an issue with my basketball net and he was extremely helpful in resolving the matter. The people at the customer service desk were also very helpful. This Canadian tire has a really great team. Keep up the great work!
My mechanic used to be in Toronto since the move to Hamilton so I started going to Steve Nighswander at the Canadian Tire near by. Steve is friendly, helpful, trustworthy and I can always count on him giving me an honest diagnosis when my car has issues. Anyone needing a good and honest mechanic I would highly recommend checking Steve out at Canadian Tire. Keep up the great work Steve!
Great selection of kid bikes - we were able to get a proper bike and helmet for our teen. Love that they had budget bike brands, as well as the more reputable Raleigh bikes (at higher cost of course). The customer rep that helped us was knowledge and friendly, and he even thought of accessories that we hadn't, like bike lights. We'll keep returning to this store!
I bought an item and opened it which was sealed with plastic shrink wrap. And I found out it's not what I want because it doesn't say in its description. Didn't even install or tried it. So the next day I returned it to this location for a refund but instead they are just giving me a store credit because the packaging was already opened.
Low stock of things in the engine cleaner and oil stabilizer section. It seemed like too small a selection for a Hamilton store. Also, when I asked the auto section if they had the high mileage fuel system cleaner instead of checking the system she said whatever was on the shelf was what they had. Not a good customer service experience
Came here to find flex seal spray and paste. This store is well laid out, I had never bought this product before. As soon as I entered the layout was clean and well signed. I maybe spent five minutes maximum from entering to cashing out. On previous trips staff have always been helpful. This location is convenient, clean and helpful.
Amazingly fast, and slick curbside pick-up system. Most hardware/home necessities stores are taking 2 days minimum to process orders. I have placed many orders over the past month and have never had to wait longer than a half day, which is more than completely reasonable during these times of curbside pick-up only. Keep it up!
My experience was positive at this Canadian tire location. It's a typical store having all the regular features. I found my items easily on the shelves as they were located in the online store. The store is clean and well organized. Moreover, I found the staffs friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend this place.
I usually just go when items are on "sale" as normally they are overpriced but I live close by so it's very convenient for me. They staff in the auto parts center were very helpful and friendly. I regularly stop and get a hotdog outside of canadian tire but I think they just raised their price over $5 a dog. Not good lol
This score should be zero stars. I was recently in this store to purchase a lawn mower and weed wacker. I asked 4 times for help. Pushed the button 3 times for assistance and waited almost an hour for no one to show up. So I told customer service on my way out. And made my purchase elsewhere. Terrible store!
Im not from this area, Went to the auto shop with a flat tire, had my wife and child in the car and was told they were too busy to help me with the flat while I watched 4 employees standing around in a circle watching one employee work. Absolute garbage. Worst Canadian tire experience I've ever had.
Came here to get keys cut - ended up spending $30 on 4 keys and when we went home and tried them, every single key did not work, they didn’t even match up properly to the master key. I don’t know if it was user error or the machine itself but I do not recommend buying keys from here.
This place has everything you need. I had recently needed and obscure car part, and of all the CT locations, this one had it. The rest of the store looks like is has a decent selection of household items. The parking lot has some electric car charging station too.
I was told I needed a new tire by their technicians and quoted $450 - I went to a local tire shop who repaired it within 15 min for $30. Please get a second opinion if you feel you're being ripped off. Very unimpressed, I was a loyal customer until today.
Staff was very helpful. The person I asked for assistance from admitted not knowing where what I needed was, new employee, promptly pointed me to the manager who took me to the two locations where what I needed was. Manager also pointed out
All the staff were super friendly and helpful, despite me running in there 10mins before the store closed. The store was clean, prices were on par with their competitors, and product was relatively easy to find. The store is comparable to
I would like to give a special shout out to PEGGY who went well over & above this morning (July 19 2022). I went into the store to buy 20 totes that were on sale. I am 32 weeks pregnant and had just got out of the hospital due to severe
Like most Canadian Tires these days, there's about 1 sales associate on the floor. Honorable mentions: $2.99 items locked up and an impossible to access bathroom. I cannot wait until this entire chain gets wiped out by online retailers.
This location is noticably of lower quality. It's a very disorganized store with multiple open products on shelves, feels cluttered, and product quantities online are regularly inaccurate. It has been on more than one occasion very
Exceptional customer service experience at the Canadian Tire Customer Service Department, thanks to Mya I believe is her name. Glasses with red hair. Her professionalism and dedication truly stood out. Mya's assistance was not only
It's ok. They moved a bunch of stuff around for some reason but it didn't make the place any better or worse. All in all, Canadian Tire is a necessary evil for some jobs and they do just enough to not be too annoying to deal with.
Always great experience. All the staff is very friendly but specially mike is outstanding as he always take care above and beyond. Always take some time and provide the help we need. Definitely best location so far.
The staff knew multiple departments and offered extra help. They were very helpful and seemed to enjoy working together as well. Everything I needed was in stock and I was only distracted by a display once . …
The triangle rewards does not give you a discount on gas nor does the MasterCard rewards, you are forced to spend them in the store, get PC matercard get 18 cents off gas with optimum and rewards at Esso
I received exceptionally courteous and quick customer service from Julia when I returned a defective appliance. Store manager Lori was also very understanding. Thank you for the positive experience!
Careful purchasing dog treats!! Went in to purchace Zoë Super Bars treats but both bags were expired from 2019. As well as Greenies from August 2020. Stick to Pet Smart for dog food related items.
Unhappy with the staff at the returns. The girl was not customer friendly and had no patience to explain the process. I went twice to do the returns for the same item and it was not done.
Worst customer service experience ever. Tried to make a simple return with receipt in hand and was treated like a criminal. Not the first time treated poorly by associates in this store.
Good location. Close to my home. Always has stock...so always get what I need. Customer service lately needs some work. Staff today weren't as friendly. Over-all good experience. Thsnks
I'll gladly switch my 4 star review for a 5 star IF You swap your aisle pirates who push credit cards or whatever for actual staff. Wondering aimlessly for assistance is annoying
I was visiting family in the area and wound up with a flat tire… the staff was amazing and got my car in right away and had me back on the road within an hour. Thank you!
This place will never change with prices showing specials at things that regular price shows 17.99 before and special for 34.99 how can that be that qas yesterday deal
The store manager Laurie is fantastic. Absolutely amazing customer service at the return desk. You’ve made me a repeat customer at this location that is for certain!
I Love canadian Tire, the worker are very friendly,Always there to Help when Help is Need .so please Always visit canadian Tire and experience it your self.
Service was great. The price I paid was high, but I expected it, so there's that. I'll wait and see how the repair turns out long term, but am satisfied.
This location has very helpful staff who are well trained and knowledgeable. Good inventory, well stocked. Bonus-I can bring my dog inside the store.
I think I'm going to stop shopping at Canadian Tire until the get rid of the dam credit peddler at the door. It's not 1970 lose the pushy salesman.
I went today and many things were 50% off! This is their 'lowest price of the season sale', so get in there and pick up all your crafting supplies
My son had a problem with his tire. Gentleman got it repaired quickly and at a reasonable rate. I think he should take his car there from now on!
Had a wonderful experience here, after a terrible one at the Rymal road location. Never go to Rymal Rd CT, they're a bunch of clowns over there.
$159.00 to get four bolts replaced on the car. What they charged me was the hourly rate for break repair. Please don't use this garage. …
Great place to shop but everything is locked away. Can't find an employee with a key and when you do you are escoryed to the sales register
Would leave 0 if I could. Really disappointing customer service. Associate was condescending and laughed at me when I asked for assistance.
Wide variety of merchandise from pots and pans to vehicle maintenance to smelly candles!!.I always find a good clearance deal here …
Hello everyone, in this shop you can find stuff for your home like construction tools, paints, home renovation and fishing stuff.
The more you avoid helping customers and forcing them to check themselves out at the self-checkout, the more I will use Amazon.
This is a decent Canadian Tire, not like one of the bigger ones but it serves the purpose. It also has a gas station with it.
This is one of the best Canadia Tire stores. Friendly stall, helpful. We drive by one CT store to get to this one.
This store needs two hot dog carts. Looking for anything is like being on safari it's big.
Great staff, excellent selection, fair prices, generous loyalty program, good sale prices.
You have a lifetime experience of the joy and happiness. Come and witness the miraculous.
Easy to find what I'm looking for. Canadian Tire is a great store. Great prices.
Found the staff very helpful in locating exactly what I wanted to purchase.
Although I had to go to 2 stores, I was able to get the item …
Very spacious and very easy to navigate and the staff was very helpful
Never gone there and they didn't have what I needed so that's a plus.
Great place for the tires you need. Good for cat litter as well.
Fantastic and helpful staff! Especially for finding auto tools!
Typical Canadian Tire...great deals helpful staff
Bigger and better . They got what you need
Good stock friendly helpful staff
