"Modest in size, but with quality exhibition collection, and good to learn more about an important figure of our local (and national) history"
Beautifully restored house and very well curated museum. It was very interesting and it is an important part of South Australian and Australian history. It contains items dating back to the first colonisation of South Australia. I hope this lovely museum will remain well looked after for future generations.
Went to the Charles Sturt 228th birthday celebration. Victoriana Society members all dressed in costume, a salute by soldiers in period dress and a nice afternoon tea. Museum has been done up beautifully

The schedule of opening times is incorrect. The Museum is only open on the first and third Sundays in the month. We had a completely wasted afternoon 30/12 for ourselves and our overseas visitors having traveled down from Adelaide. Thanks very much!
Very lovely day spent at the museum learning about Charles Stuart. The tour guide was fantastic and it was really responsibly priced considering the amount of work that would go into maintaining the house and garden. Thank you Margaret.

Drove almost an hour to get there on a Sunday it was supposed to be open. It wasn't. There was no note when would it open again. The walk along the lakes and the drain was very pleasant so the trip was not a total waste of time.
Looking forward to the reopening of this historic character property, with welcoming grounds.

I learned how important Charles Sturt was in the early years of South Australia. I was not taught about this at school, pity as was board with American history.
Worth visiting the volunteers were great

The quiet and picturesque area in which this Museum is set is the best part. Lots of beautiful wildlife!
For such a small place, its rather expensive. These places were donated and should be free
Not always open when you'd expect, however great for some history on the Grange.
I was a very interesting experience
Good view, green grass, nice place

This is an excellent museum.
