I am so disappointed. Sadly my review is similar to another review from a few months ago. I wished I had read it before going to this location tonight. The young lady at the drive-thru intercom repeated my order, but did not put it into the system correctly. We were told to park after paying for it, by a gentleman at the window. When they brought it out I checked it and the receipt and let the lady know that the girl repeated my order and still rung it up wrong. The manager was the one who took the order, came to the car with a stank attitude, and did nothing to fix the order. She said verbatim, "I am taking orders for drive-thru and our call-in line and I am the manager." That was the response I got when I asked for a manager, and she confirmed that she repeated the order. She was pressed for a $.50 upcharge and a $1.07 ranch fee, and I told her that was never the issue. Mind you the order was already $44.45 and if I was that bothered by an upcharge I would have never asked for the items. What bothers me is, how can you be a manager and not be able to multi-task??? That is awful. I use to love this location but I will not return again. Poor customer service and management, just awful

I absolutely love this place. Never had a bad experience from day one and I've been eating here since they opened. My kids and husband love it as well. I ALWAYS ordered the #chicken pilly(all the way) with ff. My husband loves the 2 hot dog w/ ff, double cheeseburger, beef and chicken Philly and calabash shrimp plate. I've always ordered the chicken Philly and my husband recently convinced me to try the calabash shrimp plate. I LOVE IT!! We both ordered the calabash shrimp plate one night and had so much left over from the amount thatwas have to us! We could have shared a plate. Well worth it!! We have never had a bad experience and food is ALWAYS HOT AND FRESH!! We have been to different chicken kings and there isn't any other like this one!!!

Lord have Mercy, this salad was good. I decided to try it out becauseof another review and I was not disappointed. They are going to be so jealous when I pull this out for lunch tomorrow! This was one of those nights I just didn't feel like cooking and I came here for the first time and I am so glad I did. They were friendly with a nice tone while ordering at the drive thru, they repeated the order before handing me the meal to make sure it was correct, counted and handed me my change and reciept without me asking for one. Got home and was satisfied from the first bite to the last. What more could I ask for as a customer?! If they are consistent like this, I can see why they're in business. Thank you for a great experience.

They has fallen off! Drove 15 miles to this location and got a fish sandwich and a cheeseburger for my wife. Get home and to our surprise, THE BURGER WAS RARE!. So I call to report it to just get a credit for the meal and the 1st thing this little rude manager tells me bring it back? Really? Well I need some proof! I'm calling in after driving 15 freaking miles for the same meal! My integrity not good enough? No problem! I've been a Chicken King customer for over 10 years and it's sad to say this will come to an end. Your people act as though all complaints are invalid and that's a shame that you pass judgment on your customer base in a premature negative manner!

This food is SOOOOO good. You won't be disappointed. The first time I had the Gyro. It was fresh and the tziki sauce was unlike anything I've ever tasted. It was all full of flavor. Last night I ordered the 4 piece dark. Nothing prepared me for the deliciousness I was about to ingest. Don't get me wrong, I love Bojangles, even KFC. I promise you they hold no candle to Chicken King's fried chicken. There is no comparison. I had no idea that had fried fish. I will be trying that next!

I'm not a huge Chicken King fan, but my husband really likes their food so I'm it's just personal preference with me. They have a really good variety of menu items to choose from. Customer service is A+. Everyone there is always super friendly & kind. It's a little more than other fast food places, but it's worth it, in my opinion.

It’s a yes for me, No pics because the food was hot upon arrival..shout-out Mrs. Kim from TryCaviar… and smelling delicious, my children's kids meal, were great portion’s, my fried chicken chef(I requested fried chicken instead of grilled), my salad ended up tasting like I ate a steak never thought I’d brag about a salad but it was rather delicious the ranch dressing tasted homemade(I’m not sure but it did)again great portion for the price my chicken tasted fresh and not frozen, my cherry cheesecake was delicious and my Arnold Palmer was on point like my grandma made it, do try them out you want be mad the prices are right why not???

We ordered a chicken tender meal with coleslaw and fries and a side of fries. When we got home, there were no chicken tenders in the to go box. My husband took the container back and they accused him of tampering with the food basically claiming that he had ate the tenders. Why would anyone drive all the way back to the restaurant for that. They claimed to have checked the food before giving it to us but there was no sign of the chicken tenders being in the box. They finally gave us more chicken tenders but didn’t return the fries and coleslaw. Very poor customer service. This location has lost two customers for good.

I returned to the drive through window to tell the restaurant that there was hair in my food. A woman standing in the kitchen wearing no hair covering with long hair tells me That she only has men cooking so she has no idea how hair got into my food. Her hair is obviously shedding around the kitchen or the kitchen is not being cleaned properly. She offered me a partial refund and didn’t even want to do that. I will never come back.

Man I got to tell you these wings are so good that it feels like it have been made with love and compassion. I don’t really know why there’s so many bad reviews about this place just of the food being bad or the way didn’t cook it right so what they know what they have done, and just go talk to them and see if they can fix your problems. But overall this place feels like home.

My review is based on the customer service of a beautiful young lady named Cora. I ordered over the phone and ended up not being able to get away to the store in a timely manner. Cora, recognized that the food was no longer hot and recooked it to make sure that I had hot food. She was very upbeat and happy, gave great customer service! It was my first time ever going to the restaurant due to a really bad experience at another location. While I don't see myself being a regular customer, if I were to go back, it would be because of her!

I've only stopped here the once, today. The staff seemed very friendly/kind which is 5 stars on that side. I only ordered a medium sweet tea for my preschooler. When I poured it into his cup this is what it ended up being (pictured). You might need to zoom but it's maybe 4 or 5 fluid ounces of tea from a medium drink? I get that sweet tea has ice but there was almost no tea there. So I can't review the food since I didn't have any- But service was great. They just need to fix how much ice they're using.

Rode by there many times was always busy decided to try it WOW !!! Fried chicken is awesome tasty pieces are large chicken strips are amazing 1/2 pound burgers rock if you drive by and don’t stop in you’re missing a great spot

Paid 11+ for chicken liver plate..I was dissatisfied when i tasted the livers..no flavor no salt. And dry and the combo didnt even come with a drink...I have bought livers that will have you keep wanting to eat them.and i couldn't even swallow the livers that I bought from chicken king for them being to dry.. I don't think I will be going back for more livers..sorry chicken king..get it together.

First time ever experiencing Chicken King. Overall the service was pretty good. I love that they sell crinkle cut fries. The portion sizes were just right and the chicken was not too greasy. The fried batter was different than that of KFC or any chicken place I've been to, but it wasn't bad. I ordered a four count meal with a side of fries. It was delicious. I would go back. I'm interested trying a chicken sandwich. Also, their sweet tea was awesome.

Drive-thru service, quick, food was hot, and seasoned well. Ordered a pork chop sandwich, friend chicken gizzards, and a beef hot dog. Anyone that eats chicken gizzards must do so out of nostalgia because those are the toughest things ever- serious jaw work out! I ordered because I was surprised to see it on the menu and it reminded me of my granny as she would often cook this-tried a few and that was good enough for me.

Visit location on W T Harris Blvd yesterday. First time seeing the server who helped me today. She was very friendly and helpful. I got the 2 piece fried croaker dinner with fried okra and Cole slaw. The Cole slaw is awesome. I love their fried okra. I always get it. This was take out. I got dinner. My cost was $14.00 . Parking is never an issue for me. There is another server that's on duty sometimes that's very nice.

The service here is Horrible. I know it's the Era of coming. But most people is vaccinated. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot the owner was saying you can't park there. Then when we went into the restaurant it was blocked by tables you couldn't even go to the counter to order. Now most people are vaccinated. But I do believe they are not, I will never come back to this establishment again. So so unprofessional.

I placed a very large order. Verified the order with the cashier. Not only was I missing my personal order, but the presentation of the food was horrible. A Manager assured me that they would make the order good upon my next visit and they never did. Don't waste your time or money here.

I love this place with the menu variety. There aren't too many places that offer breaded okra and popcorn shrimp as side items. The burgers are not overcooked and the buns are toasted, just the way I like them. The club sandwich and fries is almost more than you can eat. And the chicken and fish sandwiches also are delicious.

2 wing dinners order, 2 wing dinners and 28 dollars threw out uneaten. Got home and the chicken was breaded good, pretty color, but bit into first wing and awful color. I think they breaded spoiled chicken. Shenanigans going on and really should be closed. Had a score of 93, the person up front seemed to want more to dance than work. Close it down, just left bathroom, thought I was dying.

Food was cold but tasted decent after it was reheated in the oven. Service was absolutely trash. Waited 45 minutes for an order I called in. The manager Brian lacked concern and professionalism. Make this place your last choice to order from after 8pm or just in general based on the manager.

Food was great..been coming to this location over 2 years never bad experience. UPDATE: April 17th 2023 I hadn’t had chicken king in a while stop by and was given the smallest leg quarter in place of a chicken leg ..returned food and was given chicken that was inedible. However the manager (a chocolate queen ) was nice and gave a refund for items untouched .

Placed an order for wing and when I received them they literally still had feathers on them. When I called the store the manager stated that it’s just feathers and we’re ok to eat. Clearly they didn’t properly clean the chicken. I was truly disgusted and will never spend my money here again.

This is the 2nd time I went. First time food was amazing. Well seasoned and juicy . I got the party wings which are just regular chicken wings. Second time was a Saturday night. this was my first time here , & the chicken and fries were good. the tea was bomb ! the coleslaw and roll was nasty, running barbecue sauce, the ranch tasted weird as well. my boyfriend got the chicken livers he said they were good, just prefer them to be cook little less. but overall i’ll just stick to my louisiana fried chicken :)

I go here off and on. This last time I went, the chicken Philly was sub-par. Lacked any flavor whatsoever. I would go back and give them another shot, though. They are usually 4 stars.

Food is very good. No problems there. Takes too long to get your order though. One cheeseburger comber-15 minutes. Only other problem...$1.85 for a small drink, and NO refill. Screw that. I'll buy .79 drink that's twice the size from the store across the street.

Never had anything that wasn't delicious there. Good size portions,friendly service and they even have drive-thru! Always a bonus in my opinion. Call your order in and pick it up at the window or, nice clean sit down inside. A great low cost place to eat.

The worst food ever. The pork chops was under cooked and swimming in grease. The wings had feathers and hair on them I asked for vegetables and they sent coleslaw smh. Never eat from here. At this point I'll just cook

The servers used to be great. Not sure what has changed but the floor and counter by the fountain drinks was completely sticky, wet. The servers were yelling and using profanity while customers were present.

Food is good overall. Only a few things I order. Menu doesn't show it but there are other sides (collard greens, Mac n cheese, etc). Service overall fast Beware when using a card....they upcharge 4%.

All I ever get from here is the shrimp Po boy. It's delicious! Lots of shrimp toasted bun with lettuce and tomato. Served with fries. The food is made to order so, there is a wait but it's worth it
