Hello, I lodged in this hotel on 20th November 2023 to stay in for about 3nights and I had complaints immediately about the bedsheet and pillowcases but I decided to ignore this because it was late. Only for me to return on the 21st from work and the bedsheets and pillow cases were still the same as when I came in. Note: they were already dirty and I expected that house keeping would have changed them. I made a complain on call to the receptionist and got a very rude response. I still ignored. Someone came to change the sheets after about 20mins which was still fine. Only for me to ask the guy about the pillows and he told us here are no pillows. I went down to meet the receptionist in person. He ignored and kept me standing for about 30mins with no word. I raised my voice and told him he was Keeping me standing. He said he what do I want him to do. There was nothing he will do and he will like to see me do my worst. I asked for the manager and he told me I should find him myself that he had no business with that. Telling customers to do their worst takes balls. Unless he owns the place. Or his father does. Lack of home training and professionalism. Please it will be nice to remove mad and rude animalistic people from this hotel to serve as ambassadors. Because this to me is very poor service and makes no sense at all. All he needed to do was tell me in a nice manner and I will leave. But he preferred to be unfortunate. Luckily, one concierge guy helped change it. I thought I could get home away from home treatment. The state government recommended this place else, I won’t get this treatment and let it go from anyone. I’m very sure the 4 star rating isn’t real with all this nasty treatments. Will I ever use this place? NEVER! Animals within. Mannerless Unruly illiterates.

It’s a beautiful and good looking Hotel in Kano but today 07-04-2023 at 10:16pm I have experienced a very bad treatment and disappointed from the staffs at duty and the condition Inside the Room. 1-Fleet too much that I couldn’t resist to remain inside the Room (Room 8079), I had to go out to look for FirstAid medication at any nearby pharmacy but all were closed, why because it threatened my health. 2-Attempted to call the receptionist but the telephone is not working, had to go down and talk to them, even with that complaint, the receptionist did not attend to me, I went for the second time to report to them again, they acted “oh! I have forgotten Sir,” this is rubbish, my health was Threatened but they don’t care to help me. I don’t know if I died what would happen? 3- Before I went to report at the reception, No security is there nearby and the desk was empty. 4-Too many Giant Mosquitoes inside the Room. 5-Receptionist are not friendly and I felt my N30k for the room was wasted. Note: Customers are very very important, they should be therefore be treated nicely and friendly. Nobody would like to come back if had same treatment. I’m Dr. Uwaimir AD

The facility is good but lacks proper maintenance and management. The service by the staff, it's terrible. You'll check into the hotel and there's no towel, no soap, nothing, you'll ask for it but no one will attend to you, in my case, I literally begged for it from 3 different room portals and even the reception, they kept saying, they will bring it. 3hrs later, I just took a shower without soap and used a shirt to clean up. The worst experience is, light went off in the middle of our training, and the only explanation they have is, they are servicing the generator. We paid for this facility, we booked for the hall for 3 days use, and are aware of our coming 2 weeks earlier, and the best time to service their generator is when our session is ongoing? They should rethink their management. Plus the hotel facilities is not PLWD friendly

The hotel is despicable. The room was dirty, reek of offensive odour and the sheets were dirty (there were strands of hair on the pillow case...see picture). I insisted on a change before I could stay. Phone didn't work and that makes it difficult reaching the front desk or calling for any services. The television remote control was broken and the one for the air conditioner didn't have batteries. If I hadn't stayed in better hotels in Kano, this would have been a huge negative experience that could stereotype the city of Kano. Today I moved to the main building and occupy a suite (see pictures). The rooms, toilet and other facilities are much better here than the extension. The air conditioning works fine and television is big screen with over 10 channels. Well, hope this makes up for the nasty experience at the extension.

This is a terrible place to stay. It is supposed to be a luxury hotel, and built for that taste, but it is not living to that expectation. The hotel is dirty and smelly. The pillows smell terribly. The rooms and the bathrooms are unkempt, with the odour of a dungeon. I had to request that the pillows be changed, but the process was akin to applying for a job in a government organisation. I had to go down to the reception, and follow up with several calls. Then two hours later, my wish was granted with wet pillow cases. The beddings were not changed since only God knows when. I eventually had to use my bedsheets and pillow cases. The staff try to be friendly, but are clearly untrained. This place is simply terrible and dirty.

Beautiful hotel and food for a great and modest price. I like this place, the receptionist needs training as they are not excited to see another guest, but I have serious security concerns which I called the management and no one responded, the water pressure is also poor at the second floor level, taking a shower is a terrible experience. Be fully security conscious when you are here please.

The Hotel is just okay. The management needs to do more to make it more appealing to guests. The room I stayed was spacious but was not properly lit and the single window could not be opened for the morning air. The amenities in the bathroom needs to be upgraded or at least made to function as it should. The restaurant is also pricey which would encourage guests to eat out resulting in lost revenue. The cleanliness of the rooms are also just above par. I saw cockroaches in my bathroom! A lot more can be done to improve the place to make it more befitting and pleasing to guests. One take away is that it is located in a peaceful and quite part of town. Your experience may be different from mine.

The Everest and so comfortable place for every one to come and enjoy the comfort-ability like ; * Have peace of mind * Have rest of pressure * Have re-leaf of stress etc. This place will make you fill like you are in abroad or a big mansion house with good luxury that will wipe away your tension and calm your blood pressure down. Its place for business people to have a cool meeting or conference meeting for the good future of the organization. It is also sweet for an events like; * Dinner party * Birth day party * Bridal shower * Reception for family and friends. All travelers will really enjoy this ( chilla luxury suites ).

I enjoyed most of my stay except the complementariness. My room was denied the usual daily water bottle, and tea bags. When I reminded the receptionist about it I was told the store man has just left. l felt a little bit disappointed on receiving that type of answer. I expect a hotel of China's class maintain a 24 hr service for its guests, for every important function of the hotel, no matter how unexpected or little. The following morning I expected to find my dusty car washed, so I came out ready to tip the car cleaner , but found it as I left it. Maybe such service isnt available in Chilla. l thought.

Good quality for what can be found in Kano. Being a young single lady lodging there, I came across a lot of creepy stuff. A man probably followed my colleague (female) and I all the way to our rooms and tried peeking into them and talking to us. One of the cleaners kept calling us 'baby girls'. And just generally, people staring at us. Apart from that, the staff were really helpful and nice, and I had a view of the gate and all the horses strolling by. There's a polo club not too far from the hotel. The food wasn't awesome but it was okay. The beef platter is definitely worth the try.

I booked a room to stay at this hotel. When I arrived, they told me they don't have my booking and the room I booked was unavailable. This came as a shocker because the person that took my reservation noted my name, phone number, etc. Where the guy documented all the information is unknown. The receptionist that was around when I arrived was so rude. He boldly told me I could stay in a more expensive room or go to another hotel. Imagine that!!! Wonderful service indeed.

My first time actually. Loved the parking lot and how organised the environment looked. Cars have protective ports from harsh sun. Security personnel are quite professional and friendly. The room I took was quite spacious, well maintained and cosy. Cooling was quite functional and room service was good. Food tasted nice and was happy with it. Didn't notice any swimming pool, bar or club to allow for more relaxation. Gift shop has basic needs a traveler will require. I guess there is more room for improvement. Will like to stay here again.

The hotel was okay. The Deluxe rooms (I think that's what they're called) were really spacious and had a spacious bathroom as well. The internet here did not work at all. In addition, none of the rooms come with complimentary breakfast, so if that's a big deal for you, this hotel is a no no. Although smoking is prohibitted in this hotel, a lot of smoking happens in the rooms and this can be smelled from the corridor. All in all, the hotel was quite comfortable to stay and is in a good location.

Kano 4Star Hotel Well furnished interiors! The beds are super comfy, you'll sleep like never before! All rooms are finished neatly with TVs, ACs and Fridges. Some rooms also have Saves. They have state of the art bathrooms with functional hot and cold running water taps! To think of it, their prices are very affordable. Chat me up for a 15% discount.....PS: I know the managers Wifey.....don't tell! You can get a room for as low as 15K per night! Very true....ask me!❤

I never knew I had special skills in mosquito hunting, Chilla revealed that. it was very painful how my first Kano experience was scarred by their poor room service and maintenance, room was dusty after being told it has been cleaned. Rooms look nice but the facilities aren't being maintained properly. The water heater in my room was not functional and I went through so much stress trying to get them to fix it. They eventually moved me to a different room with a working water heater, but with a broken mirror. Their refrigerators are beginning to rust as well. In my opinion, this hotel is too expensive. They don't offer enough value or a good-enough service to charge what they do.

Place is good. Wifi is very unstable. Rooms are big enough, but the maintenance culture is absurd. 8 days and not once was my room swept. They just empty the dustbin, make the bed and mop the toilet. Workers are very loud once it is 7am,you can't sleep till they are done going round the rooms. Not enough room cards, sometimes, you get a key. Bad management and lack of maintenance will surely ground this hotel in no time.

It is an awesome hotel strategically located in Kano city with an unprecedented proximity to all the institutions and recreational centeres in Kano. The ambience is second to none and the staff are courteous beginning from the security at the gate.

Really cool hotel. Spacious standard rooms with fully functional utilities. I liked the general look of the place. Decor is tasteful. I however thought they could've done better with the bedding. A routine replacement of sheets will do good to the already beautiful room. Also a functional elevator is a must do. Will come back again though.

The building and rooms are fantastic but the service was very poor. They seem to be very new to running events. The food came late each time. Their response rates to requests or complaints was very slow. Housekeepingnwas horrible. The manager never sjowed up for our events. They seem to lack people with professional hotel experience.

Nice location in kano. Central for people who dont stay and wanna have a view of this city. Setting of the room is very good. Food hmmm be careful what you order. Their plantain and chicken sauce is on point. No alcohol if you wanna have a taste of that. So prepare for it as well. Over all not a bad hotel and staff quite courteous

Customer service is poor and horrible. I regretted staying there. I wonder how one pays so much yet facilities ain't working , and all you get is unfilled promises . Had to look for another hotel and checked out after two nights.

A magnificent hotel within the 3 range star hotels. Good security, friendly staff, spacious reception, amazing rooms and lots more. There is free wifi and their meals are nice. They also cater for reservations. Price ranges from 18,000 and above. They have shuttles for rides to airport and around town.

The first time I stayed here was immediately it was newly opened. Everything is brand new. Two months later, I visited Kano, lodged in this same hotel and it improves. Excellent services and the rooms are very spacious with wide screen television. N35,000.00 per night is a bit expensive.

In terms of facilities, it has spacious rooms with necessary things to make you comfortable. But there's only one power socket in the room behind the couch. Also, the female receptionist needs more training, she is not helpful at all, meanwhile other hotel attendants are well behaved.

Very fantastic Hotel, good ambient temperature, the hotel staff are very kind and respectful. It has a nice location with enough car park and the light is very steady. Infact is a good value for money

Newly renovated/ constructed hotel in town, most of the time difficult to get room as prices are reasonable considering to others . In standard rooms you don’t get mirror in bathroom which is something unusual so for me I had to shave using mirror in room .

Chilla Hotel is an amazing place. The accommodation is superb and of high quality. The workers there are very nice and polite also. They have an amazing restaurant. Laundry services are super fast and neat. Overall, you just have to experience it yourself.

Chilla happen to be one of the best tourist hotel In Kano, and at the centre of the state, is 12 minutes away from the airport, and 2min away from supermarket. they have the most dynamic and happen to be the cheapest hotel and at the same time been luxury

Chilla Luxury Suites is an excellent and a luxurious hotel one can relax in. Always busy as a lot of customers do patronise the place very well indeed. In fact, Chilla is a great place to be, just pay a visit and you won't regret it, mark my words.

While the structure is still as impressive as ever, some of the room features have not been maintained properly and I had to change rooms 3 times to get a good fit. Food and Staff Service are still very good though.

Located centrally at the Kano GRA the property is clean with nice staff ready to assist. The rooms are moderate and well kept same as the surrounding. However, it lacks green areas and outdoor events facilities.

New and nice hotel in Kano.. Clean and big rooms, well appointed. Neat environment and fairly quiet. PS: If you are allergic, ask for them not to spray your room with air freshener as it can be quite powerful..

Friendly atmosphere and the staff are upbeat. However, in the deluxe room no socket/charging point but the fridge one. What's more, the wifi isn't working in some of the rooms especially the extreme ones.

Brand new facilities. Friendly staff. Clean beddings. Secure. However, the vegetable and fish served with my lunch were not really super. But that was about the only minus.

The environment is serene, rooms are...ok. Breakfast, delayed but ok when served. Internet connection fast (not available at the new wing, 8085-80-). Worth visiting again.

Chilla luxury suites is a great place to stay in kano. Had the privilege to meet the manager and he was very nice and friendly. I'll definitely come again.

Chilla Suit is very nice for vacation, Seminars and Workshops. I enjoyed staying there for two days, and I appriciated the hospitality of their personnel.

Spacious standard rooms. The red velvet carpet on the corridors are awesome. Proper security arrangement and compound not congested. Overall it was fine.

An averagely okay new Hotel in he heart of Kano. More work needs to be done although. Services here are far below average. New rooms but poorly built.

Chilla should be one of the poshest hotels. It's so regal. The hallways, the walls i.e painting. The rooms, so nice really . Can't deny.

Their services have really improved. Big rooms and clean environment. Very large parking space and excellent customer service

I would say from the outside it's looks like a 5 star hotel but my experience with them is a bittersweet one. Poor management
