Aweful. Online menu prices dont match the actual prices. Nobody speaks good english so ordering was hard. They told me 10-15min for a pick up and then called me 13min later n said "when are you coming get your food you need hurry and get" mind you i was in the parking lot. Then i get my food paid with my card, reciept said i paid 24.40. I get a text saying my card was just charged 29.26. So they got me for almost $5. When i called to get it taken care of the guy didnt speak english so he jus kept saying "what u want order". I asked to speak to one of the other 3 people that i just saw in there and he told me "nobody here". Pork egg rolls had no pork. Chicken had no flavor. All around disappointed. Will not be going back ever.

Ordered from doordash, and the doordash person was pleasant and got here pretty quickly, but the order was completely wrong. We ordered combination plates with the fried rice and the egg roll and they sent white rice with no egg rolls at all. I called the restaurant and the guy working there blamed it on me, but I clearly clicked on the order under the combination plate with both of my orders on the door dash website and didn't do anything reconcile the situation or offer to fix the order. Poor customer service! Then the lo mein was chunked together as if it had been sitting out or something! I will not be going back to this restaurant ever!

Food was delivered quickly and the price was fantastic. Beyond that, my egg roll was filled with nothing but cabbage. Mmmm fried cabbage. The crab rangoons were pretty awful as well. Fake crab meat (if there was even that) in a 1:50 ratio with the 50 being cream cheese. We got shrimp lo mein as well and, while the noodles were cooked well, there were practically NO other veggies in the entire dish. Just noodles and awful, frozen, overcooked shrimp. Overall, the food was mediocre at best. If, however, you are drinking, have little to no money in your pocket, and are really craving Chinese food, hit up China Taste.

I use to love China Taste till today....today I called in a order as normal and they take my card information order was paid over the phone. Delivery guy get here and ask for my card I didn’t have my physical copy today so I showed him my card from my phone. He tell me that he can’t accept that and proceed to walk away without giving me my food that I already paid for over the phone. When I asked for a refund he tell me NO. I had to end up calling the police out to my residence and follow them to the store just to get my refund. Never again will I deal with this type of customer service

This place used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant, I rave to everyone about it. The last time I ordered here, and it will be the last time I order from here, I ordered beef and broccoli, they only gave me broccoli. I called to complain, and the guy argued with me that it is what I ordered! It wasn’t. The food is extremely greasy now... I don’t know what happened to this place, but it’s not the same from when I use to order it over the last 5 years. The prices are all over the place. Too bad, I was a good customer, and I’ll miss the quality of food that they no longer serve.

Rice ok but makes me wonder i ordered boneless spare ribs and while eating took a bite of one and immediately spit it out it definitely was old and has been sitting, the smell and taste I almost threw up. I did notice the fried chicken wings were sitting out and I still gave it a chance after eating he wings I realized they'd probably been refried numerous times smh meat was super dry. Since they are 7 minutes away I almost drove back but they most likely wouldn't do anything for my complaint so I figured a review last a life time and might turn future customers away

I can't speak for the food, because we didn't even get that far. HORRIBLE customer service. Screaming into the phone, talking to multiple people while on the phone with you. Then when I asked for clarification about my bill charge, the man became so defensive and started screaming at me. Really?! I asked nicely and was unaware of the additional delivery charges since it's not advertised on their menu. I quickly canceled the order, and he hung up on me. I will follow up if my credit card still gets charged.

Despite their middling rating and a fair amount of alarming 1 star reviews, I thought I would take the chance and find out for myself if they're any good. So I called and was immediately screamed at, "Hold on one second!" Guy put the phone down and I got to listen to the kitchen staff scream at each other. For 5 minutes. Guy never came back, I hung up. Just stellar customer service. (That's sarcasm.) I might give them another chance someday, but it's unlikely.

My spring rolls had shrimp in them which was not disclosed on the menu. They were also very greasy, they put a napkin in the package to soak up the grease but it didn't work. My ma po tofu was slimy, my rice dry and my fortune cookies were stale. This place is disgusting. I called to tell them about my experience and they didn't care at all. Go somewhere else. Anywhere but here. Truly awful Chinese food and I wish I could give it ZERO STARS.

I order Beef and broccoli Mushroom egg foo young The beef was chewy and the sauce was a tad but salty . The egg foo young was huge which was great but they used white onions instead of green onions , the onions were not thoroughly cooked through , the muahrooms were not cooked enough . The sauce was bland . The lady took my order was very kind which was the only upside . I would not recommend this place .

So my husband loves this place, he said it's the best neighborhood Chinese spot that's local. I really don't care for neighborhood Chinese restaurants.

Poor customer service. I requested no carrots and no celery in my dish. The guy who took my phone order wanted to argue that it wasn't how I requested my order. Then proceeded to tell me they would come pick up the bad order and then return with the correct order which leads me to believe they would've simply picked them out and done something possibly worse to my food. I won't be back.

I recommend this place 100% because of their food. I've been around charlotte for years but to be honest I don’t like Chinese restaurant around here. Because they food is tooo oil and the chicken wings not well seasoned,so I stop buying Chinese food because of it, but today I have no choice so I bought it and tasted the food it was yummy I fell like I went back to Illinois

This is a very small physical place period but the food is one thousand percent fantastic. If everyone has been pleasant and kind including delivery people. I have not had anything bad here yet and the Pork egg rolls are fantastic. Light crispy and delicious. I now have our new favorite chinese delivery place.

If I could give no star I would. I found long black hair in my food and they gave me issues with giving me a refund back. They were rude and kept hanging up the phone! Food wasn’t even touched! The delivery driver had the audacity to tell me to pick around it! I wouldn’t eat here even if it was the last place on earth. Why treat paying customers that way!?

Dinning atmospher is like an empty, the food is dry and hard to deal with, service was ok do to no service, have to stare at my phone, now that we know how dry the kitchen/@mospher is won't eat here. Chiken definitely frozen!

If I could give no stars I would. Rude, got our order wrong twice then tried to say they couldn't refund our money. The shrimp fried rice had old rubbery shrimp in it, food is left out open on counters, dirty, and the chicken in the low mein made my family sick. Do not spend your money here. CHEN FU in Matthews is better. Tastes fresh, and clean!

The Shrimp fried rice is EXCELLENT! The Crab Rangoon portion size of 10 large pieces/order is wonderful. The filling is not so great: no crab meat. I warmed them in an air fryer and the filling completely liquified... no lumps of crab; the only clumps of vegetables were shredded carrots; and not even bits of seasoning.

Most of the time is a takeout, the food is good the same day but if anything you have leftovers they will be hard for next day, so that tell me the food quality is not the best, is ok for same day. I wish the atmosphere was more modern Chinese, old style Chinese is getting outdated.

Ordered the lunch specials (choice of meat, rice or noodles, and egg roll) and paid $20 for it. They forgot our egg rolls, and my rice with my meal. I order food last night. Order the chicken chow mein it was so good. Very hot and fresh. The crispy noodles hit the spot. The young man on the phone so nice. The lady that deliver our food was awesome ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. The sad thing is they are better than the buffet. I even have their number save in my phone and their menu.

The lady who took my order was real rude. I normally only get wong tong soup from them nothing esle. I decided to try some honey wings. The honey was super thick and the wings taste dry with honey poured on it. They were disgusting. Plus the place stink! I will continue to order from China jade! I was given this place a chance.

The guy delivered my food then took it away because I paid with a visa gift card after he rudely fussed me out in my breezeway of my apt :( most humiliating experience ever and to top it off the food was a treat for my kids so it was horrible explaining that they can't get the food.

For fast Chinese food delivery this place is good. The meats are good quality, not like others that taste fatty. Their shrimps are huge. They dont drown out your food in a whole bunch of watery sauce although they could go a little lighter. This is the only Chinese delivery I get in this area.

Honestly horrible. I called letting them know that the rice they gave me was spoiled or on the verge of being spoiled. It smelled sour. And they did nothing no apology. It’s the 2nd time the food was extremely bad. Not minor mistakes but bad enough to make you sick.

The cashier don't even know what he's doing. 3 times I repeated him I was going to have chicken wings with special fried rice, and he gave me just rice small for almost $10 dollars. I won't never go back there

Probably the worst Chinese food. The crab Rangoon tasted like the wanton was old. It was so hard i could barely chew it. My son said the same thing without me even telling him. The bones less ribs were gross too. Tasted old as well. First and last time. Ew.

I've gotten sick twice after eating there and tonight my wife got really bad food poisoning, i've been throwing up all night. Don't go there and even worse don't order take out. and I ended up in the ER for dehydration due to vomiting over 15 times

Have been ordering from for years but will never get food from here ever again!! Dumplings were like big rubber balls with some kind of "mystery" meat. Pupu platter was aweful!! Shrimp toast was mushy! I swear they changed ownership.

Being a Brooklyn girl I can happily say this is a New York style Chinese food restaurant. On the downside, peas are always still frozen in the fried rice and the language barrier makes ordering or asking questions difficult.

Me and my co-workers order from here on a regular basis. The staff is friendly, delivery is super quick. The food is really good. There are Chinese restaraunts that are closer but we find this one to be the best.
