Multi story mall in the middle of the city. Many vacant store fronts (it appears to be about half empty). We went on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded. There are a few decent restaurants, but no big box department stores. It has a theatre, arcade, and mostly small shops. You have to pay $7 to park for 2 hours, so we will not return to shop here. I will be surprised if this mall survives the decade. They need to reimagine this space. (Perhaps some office space, apartments, or a farmers market could revitalize this lovely facility). The Greenwood Park Mall is significantly nicer with many more businesses and parking is free. I don't recommend the Circle Centre Mall.
Big mall. Make sure to plan out some of your shopping money for those parking garages. Is there one connected directly to it? I don't know, because I had to walk through a bank one time, then cross the street. Anyways, they have cool places, and all a mall needs from me is variety. One place that stood out to me was this mini golf place, which was also in like a neon setting but it was fun. With good prices too. I don't know what it was called but..it'll be just about the only one in there I think.
This mall is the worst. After I parked I tried to take the stairs and an alarm was going off with people sleeping on the stairs with sleeping bags THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I ran out called security and took the escalator. I will go out of my way NOT to stop here. When I left the mall the alarm was still going off in the stairs 2 hours later. THIS PARKING LOT IS NOT SAFE BEWARE. No security at entrance and the escalator going up was out of order. Time to shut this mall down.
Completely ghetto ghost town. I was here in the 90's before downtown Indy collapsed. Now it's depressing and shocking to wander thru this shell of a has-been mall. Borderline scary, really. For a place that used to be a vibrant place to shop, it's disturbing to see it has crumbled into a vacant, rundown, empty horror movie set. Avoid. Don't be the last one put when they close the doors and let it finish the self-destruction sequence.
This shopping center is located right in the center of downtown Indianapolis. Circle city inspired the design of of this circular multilevel building. Enjoy the limitless views of the city while shopping. Limit your shopping to the stores that are there while enjoying the art placed on several empty stores. Good luck parking! Have fun consuming
Pretty depressing seeing a place that was so popular and busy as a kid turn into a run down half empty building. I brought my daughter with me for some early holiday shopping and was unable to shop for really anything at all. It's not anyone fault, I don't think, it's just the time we live in. I wish this place was as lively as I remember it.
Mall is huge, but hardly any stores open. Look online before you go to see if your specific store is there or if it is open. DO NOT be fooled into thinking this is a nice mall that you can leisurely spend all day shopping - IT IS NOT. Food "court" is small and only a few of those were open (even though I visited at noon during the week)
We attended the Wes Montgomery 100th Birthday celebration 3/4/23 . The Arts Garden is 2nd to none for weddings, corp. or private events. The most unique architecture is almost like a glass greenhouse. There is a balcony and private catering, and it is connected to the embassy suites hotel as well as the Circle Center Mall.
It was once a great place to go shopping. Now it's just a sad shell of its former self. Most stores are not worthy of being in a storefront, more fittingly they should be kiosks that mostly get ignored. The bureaucrats are slowly, completely taking the mall over to continue stuffing their pockets.
Went today. Most of the stores were boarded up and vacant. My tiny 1 floor mall has more stores than this 4 floor mall. Best part was riding the escalator. I'm glad I didn't drive the almost 3 hours just for this mall and was already in the area anyway. Wasn't worth the money I paid for parking.
Will always be a 5 star expérience to me. So many memories...if you were able to shop here in the mid to late 90s, you know what Im talking about. Or if you were lucky enough to hit up Gatorz and the other clubs on the top floor in 2000-2001. Might just make nostalgia trips every so often
Good stop while exploring downtown Indy. Still a pretty thriving mall given how malls are doing. Walked all the levels to see what was lol in there. Actually pretty nice to soak up the air conditioning in there since it was a 90 degree day. Did make a purchase at the souvenir store.
This mall seems like it was once happening, but is just so,so now? There were quite a few stores with no business in them. Very few customers between 4:30 - 6:30pm on a Friday. Stores seemed small compared to other mall locations I've been to. All in all, just okay.
We were on vacation at this mall, I did not like it at all, when we got in the elevator inside someone peed many shops were closed. Someone lost cannabis on the floor. A young girl stole a mask, I was shocked, I will not come to this mall again♀️ …
Circle City mall is not like it was when he first got built. I used to work there it was great. Now there's barely anything there and they have the nerve to charge an arm and aleg for parking. I think it should be free parking until they get it back together.
It used to be a great mall, there are about 2-3 large stores. I looked at the directory to see what was left in the mall after a friend told me it was no longer great. I needed shoes for a wedding and there weren’t many places anymore that would’ve had that.
The mall was very big but had very little traffic. The stores were stores that you would find in a small community mall. I expected the mall to have more upscale stores since it was located in the heart of downtown, but maybe I was expecting too much.
Very huge mall with 4 floors a movie theater and glow golf they only got 4 stars because of the sugar factory the punch bowl social and the comedy club because most of the stores are vacant and closed we only made one purchase at this mall
I was in town for a five day day seminar and figured it would be nice to get a little tourist shopping in but I found was just completely below standards I’ve been to this mall years ago and it was great lots of great shopping but now it’s
I went here for lunch while at a conference at the convention center. It's convenient to get to even in bad weather, with the skywalk. There's a decent selection of restaurants, though if there's a large convention going on the lines are
Great place to spend some time, both by yourself or with others. I walked around for a couple hours by myself when I first got to town, then went on a date for a few more. The arcade and cinema on the top floor is great!
Like most malls nowadays, they have security everywhere to keep the thugs in check. Kids are supposed to be supervised, but parents still use the mall as a babysitter. Not many people shopping. A few food choices.
There are not enough places to dine not enough decent stores. All of the mall's here Have went downhill dramatically... It's really hard to find anything you like. And even harder to find anything in your size.
Hadn't been here in years! Definitely not as many stores as there used to be. Most of the stores I visited had poor customer service. Everyone seemed annoyed to be working. Several fast-food options available.
Clean, nice mall but not as many store as there used to be which is expected. I got my steps in and the kids had fun looking around. Great spot downtown and they still have the movie theater which was cool.
We had not been to the downtown mall in a long time. It has changed alot. It's still nice but there is so much that is just empty. The arcade is nice. They need more in here to make it a destination though.
You can eat drink and shop in Indy downtown in this mall. Number of shops are there for shopping with dining places. 3-9d shows and theater are on upstairs and well maintained. Not crowded unless a weekend
Is a good mall not the best but you have anything like Macy's and another brand, you have a good restaurant and fast food court, so is a good, the parking is free you don't need pay anything...
We went to the arcade we also went to hooters downtown. Pretty good evening. The arcade was fun. You buy so many credits and they load it on a card. We got the 200 for 20 bucks. Not to shabby.
Poor store selection. Furthermore, all of the family restrooms are locked to prevent homeless people from making it their living space - making it EXTREMELY difficult on people with children.
Since when do malls close at 7pm.on a Saturday night? Call me an old school 90's kid but was very disappointed I wasn't able to do a little browsing between our play and dinner reservations.
Expected more being downtown. There's hardly any stores in this mall. Sad to be downtown and had so much potential but is going down. The only good thing in her was seeing restaurants.
Four story indoor mall. Many small restaurants (mostly on 3rd floor), although you'll likely pay more here than somewhere a few miles away from the city's "centre." (What's with the
All the of a mall that make money-- food court, restaurants, small niche shops like Hot Topic, and none of the department store dinosaurs or current big-box anchors. Perfectly fine.
I don't know what happened over the years, but it just seems to be the hangout place for teenagers and it barely has any recognizable stores. This mall needs a total upgrade.
Haven't been downtown to the mall in ages. Went specifically to the SHE Store lots of reasonably priced one of a kind items. Lively environment with a dj and drinks.
Very pretty structurally but of course ALOT of the stores are shut down. it's very sad. It was also disappointing how there were a couple escalators not working.
It's nice for a mall. Lots of items to look at. The food court is good to. Sadly many items close around 6pm. Arcade has a lot of near games like vr and racing.
The biggest mall I've ever been too. It covers all of downtown and has a plethora of inclosed walkways that connects everything downtown together. Enjoy!!!
Very pretty mall, full of sunshine. About the only store really worth going into is the games store. We picked up some Yahtzee dice and score sheets.
What a beautiful building but so empty and so much wasted space inside. Indy needs to kick it up a notch and take appreciation of our beautiful city!
Great place downtown Indy. The glass flower garden is lovely spot to set and watch traffic taking a min from the 3 level floor walk threw the mall .
The mall has yet to recover from the pandemic. It takes about 10 minutes to walk through it to see the stores open. Not worth the cost of parking.
I think I like this mall better than I do the other one. It was just something about the way it was designed so as always I will be coming back.
Best two stores are Circle City Souvenirs and Go! (Calanders, games and toys). Cool building. But the place has no energy.
Lots to do here. we ate in the Cafe area. It is a clean mall. It has security stationed throughout.
Beautiful building. Paid parking. Wheelchair accessible. Variety of stores. Clean public restrooms.
Sad that the mall scene is gone but the mall is beautiful and enjoyed walking through it.
All malls open only from 11am to 6pm. Very quite. Not too much to talk about.
