My goodness I don't know where to begin. I guess let's start off by saying how grateful we are for being led to Karin and the Circle of Life home for cremation services for our son who had passed away. From the moment we walked through the door, we felt the positive energy and knew we were in the right place for our son. Karin was absolutely an angel, I truly believe that she has been guided to this path in life to help people like us in the most sensitive, raw moments. Karin was professional, caring, patient and helped us create a beautiful lasting experience for our son. Karin was very involved and made this difficult time easier for us which allowed us to focus on healing and being with family. There are many things that Karin did behind the scenes such as phone calls, preparations, logistics, etc. Every level was done with the utmost care as if our son was her own. I cannot express enough how grateful we are for choosing Karin and the Circle of Life. Thank you.
I can't believe I didn't think to leave a review of this place until now. It's been over three years since my late wife Lorraine's passing and I still remember how amazing and wonderful Karin was when she passed. We were greatly concerned about how we were going to pay for everything but Karin was such a blessing in helping us get everything squared away at a time when the last thing we wanted to worry about was money. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and we dress our dead in ceremonial temple clothing before they are buried. I remember Karin saying she was deeply impressed with the respect we show our dead as she saw this process and had never seen anything so beautiful before and was so kind and so good to us. I'm sure she was listening to Lorraine's influence on the whole process from the other side.
Karin and everyone were very authentic and kind. We felt welcomed and sincerely taken care of. I found Karin through a resource list through hospice, and I had called a few other places. Karin took the time right away to help answer my questions and even answered the questions I did not think to ask. My mother and sister met with Karin right after my dad died and they both told me that they loved her, and the space. Emma, their dog, added an extra warm touch. Our service for dad all fell into place as Karin, her family and staff, took such good care of us. Our family and friends are still sending us thank you notes for such a lovely “send off” for dad. I highly recommend them. I am truly grateful for them, during such a difficult time.
Karin and her staff at Circle of Life in Dundas were absolutely amazing in helping me formulate and organize the plans that I needed to arrange, following my husband's recent death from cancer. From the time I walked in their front door and was greeted by Emma, who wagged her tail and guided me to the boardroom, I felt that I had made the right choice. Karin's knowledge and experience was accentuated by her level of compassion, kindness and professionalism, right through to the planning and arrangement process, to our final meeting when I picked up my husband's urn and ashes. I highly recommend Karin and her staff at Circle of Life and I am truly grateful for all of the services she provided to us!
Our family reached out to Circle of Life Director Karin Schuett and team soon after my mother passed. Karin’s professionalism and compassion in guiding us through the decisions and next steps eased the pain and burden of those most difficult first days and weeks. Most impressive was the accommodations made for my mother’s memorial utilizing the beautiful gathering room Karin and her team set up for us. Our family is grateful for all the kindness shown by Circle of Life staff and Karin in particular. Their careful and considerate planning allowed us to celebrate the life of my mother in a way we hoped for, and that Karin helped us realize.
Our family met Karen and began our planning for our moms passing over 6 years ago when mom was diagnosed with a life limiting disease. Karen came to moms home and walked her through the process of planning which she wanted to organize . Two months ago our mom passed. Karen provided us with outstanding guidance and care. She and her staff walked us through every part of the overwhelming processes with professionalism , warmth and patience. I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation enough for this remarkable team of people.
From the moment we first spoke with Karin on the phone, to being greeted by the gentle Miss Emma at the front door, we took comfort in knowing that the Circle of Life was the right fit for our family. Professional services coupled with compassion and reassurance. Karin's knowledge, patience and support was truly appreciated. She helped us plan for the simple, dignified and meaningful arrangements we had hoped for, as we navigated through the heartache of our loss. We highly recommend the services of the Circle of Life team.
Our family has reached out to Karin and her staff at Circle of Life twice and both times we received the highest level of professionalism combined with the utmost compassion and understanding. Karin led us step by step through this painful process and we felt confident in her expertise. Any questions or concerns were responded to immediately and Karin anticipated our wants/needs before we even knew we had them. Circle of Life has given us warm and comforting memories of our parents' final care.
Karin at Circle of Life has provided us with the care and compassion a grieving family needs when a person they love has left them. We know Adam was treated with the utmost of dignity and care. Our needs were met in the most thoughtful ways, and Karin assisted us with the many tasks faced by those left behind. It has been such a comfort to have Circle of Life look after us during this sad time of loss. Shirley & Lara Gaffney
I cannot express in words how truly grateful we are for the service provided by the circle of life. They went above and beyond for my grandfathers viewing and cremation. It has been a tough few weeks but they made the process so easy and were readily available for a phone call whenever need. Thank you thank you thank you
