Remarkable! The Greater London Area headquarters may be casually nicknamed "The Onion", but the design is anything but ordinary. The £65 million building is designed by Norman Foster, who has tried to keep the exterior surface area as small
City Hall, in the London Borough of Newham in east London, is the headquarters of the Greater London Authority , the regional government for Greater London. It replaced the previous City Hall, in Southwark in 2022. The building opened in
Incredible!! Memorable!! City Hall is a distinctive building on the south bank of the River Thames in London. Designed by Norman Foster, it's the headquarters of the Greater London Authority and features a curved glass facade and spiral
Visited the new City Hall at The Crystal in the Royal Docks. A testament to London's evolution, it's not as bustling as the old City Hall (near Tower Bridge) but offers a modern, sustainable twist. Intrigued by its history and the Royal
One of the most photographed constructions in the city and a top contender for the best non straight lined building in the capital. Architects must have enter a competition to find the least square product of the drawing board.
Still an interesting shape, however the area around has now moved on too (is 20years since last visit). Looks to be under maintained, so not in the best condition. Sad that it's not being used for something, and is stood empty.
Super cool and modern building! A perk is that the cable car is available just in front of the building and the area around offers quite a few activities and restaurants. Also the area seems to offer water sport ♀️ …
If you like modern architecture you'll love this beautiful modern building. It's captivating in its simplicity. I live in the area so I'm happy that the London mayor has chosen east London to
Lovely seating area when on a quick lunch break in the city. You can see the sites of Tower Bridge, London Bridge in the background. Plenty foodaries around as well or being your packed lunch.
Brand new, large and shiny. A bit far away from the beating heart of London but just a stone throw away from cable cars across the Thames if you want to make an outing out of it!
I attended a youth event. Easy to get to. Nice clean building. Welcomed by two white male staff on reception. Friendly and professional staff. Some more diversity would be good.
A short walk from London Excel Center, on the Elizabeth line. Expect high security, airport style. We were only in the foyer/media room. Lots of meeting rooms. Very polite and

The mayor moved from City Hall in Southwark at the end of 2021 to its new home in Royal Victoria docks. A large, reflective building in a sparse, bare surrounding.
I found the aiir too clean. I prefer a much richer mix of car and diesel fumes like they're making at the new Silvertown road tunnel.
A great place where I used to live and I just to another side. For me this place reminds me lot memories. ❤️
the 2nd spot. Go downstair to south bank to see Tower Bridge -> City Hall -> HMS Belfast.
Cafe very complicated to get in very limited menu All served in disposables.
