When I met Dean I was 17 years old and I was incarcerated in Hamilton,Ontario.As we first met he explained to me the seriousness of my charges and how impactful the consequences of my actions could lead me. Jessica was amazing but they waited until like 2 days before my court date to even inform me of my different options and the two weeks before that scheduled meeting they ignored any requests i had about what exactly we were going to be talking about. Jessica on her own is brilliant and compassionate but I wasn’t happy ultimately with my service and wish things had gone differently or been planned better to accommodate my next steps.
