We were satisfied with the service, and the food was tasty in general. However, we were extremely disappointed with the lack of value for the price we paid. In particular, we were very surprised at how little food we received for the grossly-overpriced, $14 trio-dipping appetizer. Two of the three dips were tasty but there wasn't much food on the plate for that price, and there was nothing extraordinary about the contents of the plate that would justify such a high price. The entrées, though tasty, were pricey, too, but we felt least satisfied (I almost want to say "most ripped-off") with the appetizer. About the trio-dip appetizer, the black bean dip was nothing to write home about, flavour-wise, and there wasn't much crostini or many nachos for dipping. We were also disappointed that the dips were served in leaves which were inedible due to their bitterness. The barbecue chicken pizza was fine, and the beer was rated highly by my fellow guest. I would not recommend this restaurant to others, and we are unlikely to return. Bottom line: average-quality food items at a casual restaurant should not be so pricey!

Large portions for breakfast and was also very tasty. $8 gets you 2 eggs, bacon/sausage, home fries, and toast. Usually the norm for breakfast food but it was prepared really well. The coffee on the other hand was gross. They need to get better coffee! [EDIT 1] At first I went back to this place because I was satisfied the first time. The second time for breakfast the service was atrocious and very slow. Took us over an hour to get our food! Most of us just ordered the two egg special too! The food arrived cold and the waitress didn't inform one of the people that part of their breakfast was missing. Terrible place. Not going back again for breakfast.

Took a client to brunch. Our server, Alicia was a nice girl, took our order straight away. After a 20 minute wait, food arrived and I found that my Benedict STILL had a shell. I brought this to her attention, and she mentioned this was the second time it had happened. Spoke to the manager, who was very abrupt and did not accept responsibility for the poor food. Paid full price for both meals. Very disappointing. I would expect much more for such a place. Never returning...

Just okay, the last time we visited, on a Saturday. Not busy, went with family. When we got there, they told us they didn't have a kids menu. I know they did, in the past, since we've been there before. Ended up paying $3 for a glass of milk and $13 for a plain burger, no sides for a child. I guess they don't want people with younger kids. But it's Westboro! Really?! There are better places on Richmond to go to.

Stopped in for late lunch. Order was taken promptly. Coffee was old, limited menu options, no drink menu. Music loud and inappropriate for time of day. Fifteen minutes after ordering food, waitress asked to confirm order. Five minutes later was asked if we would sub ingredients from our order because they did not have it on hand. Cancelled order and left shortly after, but waitress comped coffee and was nice.

Nice enough place with massive selection or craft brews... Had the aristocrat burger, very dry and over cooked.... Wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked and it said it had pickle on the burger, I'd say more pickle than burger that's all I could taste! Decent beer and friendly staff though

Went in at 4:55 pm, place stunk like a seafood slaughter house even with windows open. Waited at bar for 10 minutes. No bartender No severs around. Walked out after waiting around for 15 minutes. Went two doors down to the competition who had staff actually working and greeting guests.

Very quiet. Bar staff were most interested in spending time with the kitchen staff getting drunk after work. Burger was good, but very small for the price - about the size of a MacDonald cheeseburger for $16.

The food is pretty standard pub grub, but the beer it what makes it stand out - all craft beer! The staff are very friendly and the place is a great laid back spot to watch a game on one of the many TVs.

  • Doug Charlton

Staff turned off the music and changed the TVs to put their game of interest on the screens and speakers. Food was alright, but pricey for what it is. I could do with a less fancy plate and more food.

  • Andrew Bergeron

Service was excellent though the food wasn't great. Fries were limp, some undercooked, and the bun for my sandwich was pretty dry. That said, there was a good selection of beer to wash it down.

Had breakfast there on a slow Sunday. The eggs were cold and bland, the home fries were dripping in oil and unedible. The bacon was either barely cooked or black. Would not recommend.

  • Tanner

Service is ridiculously slow, and they weren't busy at all. The only thing good about the experience there was the host who went around chit chatting with people

  • Dino Cule

Really good selection of craft beer and many TVs for watching sports. Free Wi-Fi and no patio, but they open the windows when it is nice outside.

  • Andrew Nice

Good food, good service and kid friendly. I really enjoy their breakfasts, and the staff is very friendly. Great place for a drink or food.

  • Jonathan Enright

Great spot to watch the game! Service is very good and the cooks are top notch. The beer selection is one of the best in Ottawa. CBG!

  • Sean-Patrick Malone

Good place to catch the game and drink a flight or two of craft beer. Enjoyed the pizza for dinner and eggs for breakfast.

I found the breakfast club distasteful and my hashbrowns cold. I don't suggest this place, as it gave me an upset stomach.

Although I have yet to eat here, it's a great place to have a few pints with friend in Westboro.
