I have been buying shoes from Crispins for over 20 years now. If you are (un)fortunate enough to have larger size feet than the high street cater for, and want an extensive selection of stylish shoes, all of which are available in your size, to choose from then this is the place to come. The staff are endlessly patient, not to mention delightful - nothing is too much trouble. Their mail order side is also excellent - not living in London it is difficult to get to Chiltern Street on a regular basis and whether I have placed an order on the website or rung the shop the result has always been the same - speedy delivery and an excellent returns policy. I don't really like writing reviews and seldom do so but I feel Crispins, and other independent retailers like them, deserve all the support from their customers that they can get in what is going to be a difficult time ahead. It is about time that quality of product and excellence of service should be celebrated. (PS Please can you stock more shoes with removable insoles?)

I have large feet so buying shoes has always been a nightmare until I found Crispins many years ago. I enjoy going into the shop as the choice is huge with many different styles and price bands but all of them are so well made with wonderful leather or fabrics. The staff are so helpful about advising on sizing and which styles may be a better fit for my foot shape and they seem happy to run up and down to the stock rooms selecting different shoes for me to try on. As I live at a distance from London mail order has been a great help and the Crispins website is easy to navigate. If I require further advice about a shoe on the website the Crispins team are happy to answer the questions. The shoes are well packed for posting and the return system is simple. It is well worthwhile being on their mailing list as you are advised on offers and new stock arriving etc. My feet would be bereft without Crispins!

About 33 years ago a friend suggested I try Crispins Shoes because I'm a size 8 / 42 with slightly wider than average feet and I found it extremely difficult to find shoes that I felt comfortable in in most Hgh Street shoe shops. I've been shopping there since because Crispins gives me so much choice in flat shoes, heeled court shoes, boots, casual shoes and dressy shoes. Most of my favourite shoes are from Crispins. Customer service is second to none, even when I arrive in store 20 minutes before closing, as I've done a few times the staff are always friendly, patient, extremely professional and courteous. When I order online, my order arrives promptly and well packaged. Crispins is highly recommended for ladies that wear size 41 and above whether you have narrow, regular or wide feet.

Loving fashion and having big feet is a double curse. No outfit is complete without the perfect pair of shoes. I had struggled for many years to find shoes that would fit me. Eventually, bespoke shoes became a possible option, but unfortunately, I could not afford the high price. Every pair of shoes I has brought ( there have been many) has been the best quality and has lasted for years, in fact, I think they are indestructible! They are well worth the money, I always find a style I like, and there is something for everyone. I no longer have to just wear uncomfortable, frumpy and unfashionable shoes! The staff and customer service is always the best. I used to find shoe shopping for larger feet unbearable (at other stores), but it is always a pleasure to shop both in the store and online. I can't sing the praises of Crispins enough!

A lovely shop in an elegant street. Staff are helpful and friendly (I have also benefited from their helpfulness when ordering by phone). The shoes are beautiful, though some are on the expensive side. I have long feet, and it is great to be able to walk into a shoe shop knowing that there will be plenty of styles in my size. My only gripe is that at one time Crispins specialised not only in large shoes, but in narrow ones too. This appears not to be the case now, and as I have slim feet the choice of styles suitable for me is much more limited. Lace ups are no problem, but ballet pumps and 'dressy' shoes just fall off. Shame.

Crispin shoes is genuinely the first place i look for shoes. I'm a size 9 (a real 9 ..a 43 not a 42!). the quality and variety of choice is second to none. As someone who really loves fashion, i used to be disheartened about the choice of styles available to women with larger feet, but since discovering Crispin Shoes i really dont have to worry. Yes, some of the shoes are pricier that elsewhere, but i really do think that you are paying for real quality and for me that's worth the investment. It really is lovely to have shoes on that dont look like big slabs on my feet, but shoes that are considered and flatter the foot!

The only store I've found to have a stylish collection of shoes from sandals, boots, casual and dressy. Very pleased to have a range that fits my slim feet as often the assumption is longer feet are wide but if you do have wide feet, you will also find a very wide range of options. Shoes are expenisve but there are multiple sales throughout the years and vouchers that are sent out vua email. The customer service is also incredible. I have been building my collection from them, I am obsessed and thrilled to have discovered this gem.

As someone with size 10.5 feet it's hard to find shoes that fit well. I've been shopping at Crispins for a few years now and every time I go there the staff are so helpful and I leave with at least one new pair of shoes. I fell in love with my first pair - in fact mum bought me two pairs - of brogues in 1982, aged 13 that were turquoise and camel. A revelation to find shoes that fit AND that looked better than anything else my friends had. Very disappointing customer treatment. I'm a loyal customer since years and today I went to buy a pair of shoes. I asked if I could use the sale voucher but they told me that it was expired last week and they couldn't be flexible. What they didn't mentioned that this morning they sent an email to their customers to offer £20 off for a google review. As a loyal customer I feel cheated and I do not feel that they appreciate my business.

Plenty of size 9s, 10s etc, and even 43.5, my true size! You can almost always find something gorgeous, even if you don't really need them :) The staff are unfailingly helpful and the postal service is fast and reliable. I have been coming to Crispins for some years and cannot fault the attentive staff and the choice of fashionable, but comfortable shoes I've bought there. Now, I shop mostly online and have always had good advice from the well-trained and patient staff. I don't find the shoes too expensive because they're well made by people who understand feet and, especially, the need for fashionable, comfortable shoes in large sizes.

I was delighted to discover Crispins after struggling to find shoes that I really liked in my size. Crispins sells beautiful, stylish shoes. The quality is always very high, and the selection of styles on stock is broad. I shop at Crispins largely over the web. Delivery is always efficient and on the one occasion recently where I had to return some boots (because they didn't fit) the refund was processed immediately.

As a lady with large feet, it can be really difficult to find high-quality shoes in large sizes. Crispins are a real gem in this regard. Crispins is really the only place I can find shoes that fit my long narrow feet. Staff are always very kind and helpful and no amount of running up and down stairs to find different pairs of shoes to try on is to much trouble.
