Se soggiornate a Meknes dovete fermarvi qui! Sono stata in vari ostelli in giro per il mondo, ma questo è sicuramente il migliore in assoluto. Innanzitutto è bellissimo e molto curato, ovviamente in perfetto stile marocchino. Ma a parte questo, l'accoglienza è fenomenale. È stato un peccato fermarsi solo una notte, se avessi potuto avrei prolungato il soggiorno. Hussan e Anouar sono gentillissimi e ti fanno sentire a casa, come se foste amici da sempre. Ti offrono il the non appena entri e fanno tutto il possibile perché tu viva un'esperienza più autentica possibile. Con semplicità e umiltà ti raccontano e ti fanno conoscere la loro cultura. In più, parlano bene italiano, francese e inglese. Non vedo l'ora di tornare a Meknes, per stare di nuovo lì. If you're visiting Meknes you have to stay here! I've stayed in many different hostels but this was absolutely the best one I've ever stayed in. First of all, it's very beautiful and well maintained, obviously in perfect moroccan style. Other than this, hospitality is phenomenal! I was so sad I could stay one night only, if I could I would have stayed way longer. Hussan and Anouar are really kind, they make you feel like home and treat you like you've always been friends. They offer you tea as soon as you enter the hall and they try to make your experience as authentic as possible. With simplicity and humility they tell you all about their culture. They also speak french, english and italian very well. I'm looking forward to come back to Meknes, to stay there again!

I stayed in 12 hotels all over Morocco, but this is the worst! I arrived in the evening at 12:30 guided by a local guide after an unpleasant incident with a motorcycle. I asked the price for one night at the reception and the guy there told me that a room costs 400 dh (approx. 40 €). I agreed and went to get my luggage. When I returned with my luggage and wanted to pay, I was told that I did not understand well and that the room actually costs 500 dh (€50). I asked if they have hot water, I was told yes, I paid without commenting on the price and went to the room. I mention that during all this time I had no battery on my phone and I did not have the possibility to search on any website. Not only was there no hot water, there was no water at all! I charged the phone and at the first search on booking, the room I was staying in and for which I had paid €50 actually cost €18 for the same night. It was not the fact that I paid triple that made me leave there, but the fact that they had no water at all until morning! I asked for the money back, the guy at the reception called the "manager" who told me that I can stay in the room if I want for only €25. At 1:15 at night, I took my bags and left there! I wouldn't want to stay in this hotel even for free! I do not recommend at all, absolutely sure the note in the reviews is fake! Ask his friends and employees to give the best reviews!!!! In general, I do not recommend the city of Meknes in Morocco! It is full of people who just want to take advantage! -from the window of my room on the 1st floor you could see a cemetery right across the alley

Je prend un temps pour remercier Hamid et Hassan, nos hôtes, pour notre séjour de 2 nuits et 3 jours à Meknès Leur accueil, leur hospitalité, leur flexibilité sur différentes situations, leur ouverture, leur conviviabilité, leur bienveillance et leur référence méritent d'être soulignés à la hauteur de l'hostel de 5 étages. C'est un endroit dont je recommande beaucoup au Maroc.

Muy buena ubicación. Buena comida. Salón con preciosa decoración. Lo mejor, el trato familiar, siempre dispuestos a ayudarte y hacerte mejor tu estancia. Estupendas vistas desde la terraza. Volvería sin duda, ojalá. Si vas, no dejes de visitar el hamman que hay en la esquina, una experiencia inolvidable. Gracias por todo Mohamed!

Voilà un commentaire juste, qui n'est pas rédigé par un guide local et qui va contredire tous les pseudos avis positifs que vous avez pu lire. J'ai séjourné à travers tout le Maroc et utilisé plus de 15 logements.... Celui-ci est le pire de tout ce que j'ai pu voir, FUYEZ VITE !! Accueil indigne de l'hospitalité marocaine, Dar ultra bruyant et sombre, chambre affreuse, aucune propreté, WC pas nettoyés, le linge de lit donne pas l'impression d'être changé entre chaque client. Que dire du petit déjeuner, si ce n'est que c'est une honte!! J'ai eu droit à un pseudo pain perdu avec un thé imbuvable. Enfin si, le responsable le boit avec plaisir, il est même la tête dans le *** et en pyjama ce servir sans gêne dans la théière à ma disposition.. Vraiment dommage de devoir mettre au minimum une étoile car c'est déjà beaucoup trop. Gardez votre temps et votre argent et oubliez l'idée de réserver ici, tout le reste serra que mieux.

Très mauvaise expérience. Personnel de l’accueil très moyen, peu clair, il nous a loué une chambre sans nous préciser qu’il y avait une panne d’eau générale depuis quelques heures (ce n’est pas de sa faute mais le minimum est d’avertir). Pas pratique d’être 4 dans une chambre sans douche ni toilettes. Chambre 4 personnes, joliment décorée mais limite niveau poussière, pas de bonde de douche, il y fait très froid, tapis serpillère carrément dégoûtant. Aucune excuse de la part du personnel par rapport à la panne, on a ressenti une indifférence totale par rapport au fait qu’on loue une chambre dans une auberge sans eau. Quand on a demandé une remise vu la nuit qu’on a passé, le « manager » s’est montré agressif, il a levé la voix très vite, pas d’écoute « tu paies et tu t’en vas ». Un conseil : choisissez une autre auberge ! Avantage malgré tout : belle terrasse et beau bâtiment!

Mal organisé. la première fois j’ai réservé chez eux ils m’ont pas averti que il ya un mariage dans le Riad beaucoup du bruit en Plus il y’a pas des serviettes dans la chambre et manque d’entretien et de la propreté , pour la 2eme fois j’ai appelé l’accueil pour réserver la chambre il m’a confirmé qu’il est disponible quand j’ai venu il ma dis qu’il est réservé sur Booking a une autre personne et ça ce n’est pas du tout de la professionnel je ne suis pas le seul que j’ai des réclamations sur ce Riad il y’a d’autres personnes Marocaines et des étrangers qui ont des réclamations. je le recommanderais jamais parce que il y’a des autres Riad qui ont un bon accueil et service et repas.

Very easy to find since it's closed the "Bab Tizimi Kbira", so you can quickly drop your lugagges before entering the Médina. Very nice place, nice people. Très facile d'accès depuis la gare Al Amir Abdul Kader, Avenue El Moukaouma il y a des bus qui vont vers le centre ville (du côté Est, côté droit), le bus ne vous coûtera que 4 Dh et vous descendez à la porte Bab Berdaine. Facile, rapide et pas cher! Pour ceux qui veulent visiter Volubilis, le bus 15 en face du café Stable (à côté du rond-point) va à Moulay Idriss, à côté de Volubilis, très bon plan pour 7Dh !

Resté qu'une seule nuit mais j'ai apprécié celle ci Acceuil chaleureux, petit dej' buffet à volonté suffisamment fourni (mais je n'ai pas spécialement un gros appétit le matin) Le lit était confortable, douche chaude et Avec de la pression cependant l'espace dortoir est assez grand et pas spécialement aménagé partout avec des rideaux pour les lits, un peu de bordel dans le dortoir car des travaux d'aménagement était prévus

We were moved to a different room with three beds. It did not smell very nice, there were bread crumbs, hair and eggshells in the bed. The towels were dirty (replaced on demand), the bath was not very clean either..

Wij kwamen laat aan en belden vanaf de parkeerplaats of er een kamer voor ons was. De eigenaar haalde ins meteen op. Toen hij ons reisgezelschap van 4 zag. Bood hij meteen een extra kamer aan waarvoor wij niet hoefden te betalen. Hij vroeg of wij al gegeten hadden en toen wij ontkennend antwoordden, nodigde hij ons uit om met hem te koken. Hij maakte een heerlijke tajin klaar. De bedden waren schoon en wij hadden een douche en toilet op onze kamer. De eigenaar is zo vriendelijk en gastvrij, dat je als westerling er even vreemd van opkijkt. Maar het is echt en welgemeend.

The hotel is gorgeous with its traditional design. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The location was perfect and close to transportation so it's safe enough, and also very close to medina and other touristic attractions. There is no hot water though, hence the three stars for Rooms.

Ein wunderschönes und dekoratives Riad mit großen Zimmern und einem ansprechendem Dorm. Tolle Dachterrasse mit Blick über die Medina. Die Mitarbeiter sind liebenswert und stets bemüht, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir durften nach dem offiziellen Checkout noch mehrere Stunden bleiben. Das Frühstück war der Hammer und sehr üppig! Wir empfehlen den Aufenthalt dort zu 100%

Es un lugar precioso, muy tranquilo y muy bien situado. La atención ha sido muy buena, concretamente Hamid y Salim son muy atentos y nos han atendido durante nuestra estancia facilitándonos en todo momento lo que necesitabamos. Tuvimos la oportunidad de hablar un buen rato con ello y de aprender muchísimas cosas de esta ciudad y de su cultura. Volveríamos 100%!!

I got in late and the owner had fresh cookies waiting for me for free. He upgraded me to a private for the same price and was very helpful up until I left. The building is gorgeous on the inside. Custom woodwork and tiles all over the interior. The rooftop view is a real treat also. The location is right in the heart of the medina also. Wonderful spot.

En lugar muy familiar y agradable. Tanto la limpieza como el personal tiene un 10, te ayudan y te facilitan todo lo que necesitas. Las vistas son una pasada, los atardeceres en la terraza inolvidables. Lo recomiendo 100%

Beautiful Riad in a quiet part of the medina. Everything was clean, breakfast a bit limited due to Ramadan. Amazing views from the rooftop. Staff very nice and helpful with good English. Would stay again.

Buen Riad en el corazón mismo de Meknes, especialmente útil su ubicacion tan céntrica! El riad es precioso y tiene una gran decoración, es una gozada tomarse un te en ese salon con el dueño que es muy simpatico. Si vas por Meknes es una parada recomendable si quieres disfrutar de esta ciudad tan autentica.

The dormitory was full of smoke due to the fire they were doing in the center of the house so I ask for another room and they gave me one pretty nice. They even invited me for dinner twice

ho cenato insieme al mio ragazzo presso questa struttura. il servizio è stato ottimo e il cibo buonissimo. il prezzo è uguale a tutti gli altri luoghi, ma da loro il cibo era davvero buono e non scontato. Consiglio vivamente, il proprietario è estremamente gentile

The owner seems to be a nice guy but he is actually really dishonest. Other guests i later met in Rabat shared the same experience. Watch out.

Dès l'arrivée on se sent comme à la maison un endroit chaleureux pour passer un séjour à Meknès dont on se rappelle. À choisir sans hésitation quand on a dégusté le repas vraiment servi avec toutes les saveurs du Maroc. Merci à toute l'équipe du riad.

Awful experience, there's no hot water in the shower, no towels in the room, and they ask you for money for using the kitchen although it's included in your stay, I don't recommend it

Beautiful ryad near Place Berdaine with great hospitality. The friendly staff made me feel very welcome. Lovely breakfast and fantastic views from the rooftop terrace.

Mojaloco, el dueño todo un personaje. Excelente lugar para un par de noches, hacer base en Meknes y recorrer todas sus bellezas de alrededor.

Alles fein. Hier würde ich wieder herkommen. Ein tolles altes Haus. Bewachter Parkplatz ist nur etwa 150 Meter entfernt.
