My brother James & I just purchased a 3rd Gen USB Focusrite 18i20 recording unit from Derringers after we had to return a previous purchase of a Focusrite 4i6 unit because it just wasnt big enough to use with the amount of mics we need to record with, due to my brother not researching properly before he purchased, however, Derringers music graciously gave James a store credit return on the 4i6 unit straight away, as it was immaculate unused and still in the box, and within 3 days of returning and re ordering the larger unit we have the new one here today delivered already, and boy we could not be happier, i cant believe it got here in only 3 days from Adelaide to Melb thats OUTSTANDING service. They kindly rang my brother straight away when they received the wrongy ordered unit back ,and then got us the new unit in 3 days!!! 5 stars all day long for that Derringers, we are really happy with your prices & service absolutely from David & James in Melb. Its great to be able to TRUST a business to look after your needs & interests as a consumer, thats what COUNTS to me. Thank you!!!

Got what I came for and the price was good however the customer service was lacking. I entered the Pro Audio store, 3 staff looked up at me but I was not greeted. I felt like I was intruding. I wandered the store looking for the item, none of the staff offered any assistance. I went to the counter to ask for help, seemed like I was interrupting the sales guy. Got what I came for in the end however there was no conversation or discussion about the item or alternatives. I left the store a little underwhelmed. Have spent a ton of money at Derringer’s over the years. Expected a little better.

A few weeks ago I had a rare visit to the City, and while I was there I went to the Derringers City store and with Justins help I purchased a Mini Maton. A great little guitar , and after playing it at home for a week , I found the strings 13- - 56 a bit too heavy for my poor 81 year old fingers . So I took it in to Derringers , Forrestville and talked to Fin, and he re strung it for me with 11- -52 D'Addario . It now plays like a dream, so I'm very happy with the service from both shops. Well done guys ! Now I hope to keep playing at least till I"m 100 ! Many thanks Peter

I had excellent customer service from Sam today at Derringers at Forestville SA, who I'd spoken to yesterday on the phone. I wanted to compare the Yamaha P125 and the Roland FP30X keyboards. I chose the Roland, as I loved the feel of the ivory coated keys. I also bought a metal sustain pedal, and a doubled braced adjustable keyboard stool. Sam gave me a great price, and carried everything out to the car for me. Thank you Sam, and the rest of the team.

I've been buying and renting from Derringers for 35 years now, with customer service being at a consistently high level across that time, either in person or via online sales. They've also been willing to negotiate over pricing to match or better prices found elsewhere, and go out of their way to accommodate special requests or gear queries. Highly recommended if you are in SA, or even interstate.

I was so reluctant to purchase a strat online. After reading the excellent reviews I ordered it and had it shipped to me in Victoria. The pricing was the best I could find anywhere in Australia. The sale was processed and confirmed so quick and delivery was insanely fast. My order arrived in perfect condition. I’m beyond happy and will 100% recommend this shop to any musician!

I’ve had my eye on a particular telecaster for a few years. Not only did Derringers have the (from what I could find) the last one in the country - but it arrived at my home in Melbourne within 2 business days (!!) with free shipping. On top of that the price was several hundred dollars less than other stores. Will definitely buy from these guys again.

Absolute legends. There was a bit of an issue with shipping the kit because of it's weight. The crew did all they could to keep me updated and make sure the kit was on it way ASAP. Derringers Forestville is by far the best music shop I have ever been too. The staff there are very friendly and helpful and seem to know just about everything that there is. Highly recommend derringers Forestville for whenever you are looking to buy any new instruments.

I got what I went for, which was good. The young dude in the guitar shop called me buddy multiple times which I'm not a huge fan of which is why I'm only giving it three stars! Prepare for staff and customers to try to make you feel small and you'll be fine!!

I recently bought an electric drum kit (Roland TD-27kv) from Derringers drum shop. Not only did Jerry from the Drum Shop help me select the most suitable kit for and answer all my questions on multiple occasions, but he also gave me the best price nationally.
