"I've been waiting for a legit coffee shop to open in the neighborhood"
"I live a few blocks from dia del cafe, and in terms of coffee quality and taste it far surpasses its neighbors"
Wonderful coffee shop. I'm shocked it took me this long to try it. I had the ice oat milk miel & canela latte, which was sweet and delicious. I also had the turkey / pesto panini. Both were so tasty. The outdoor and indoor seating options were great and the atmosphere was perfect for a quality hangout. I will 100% be back again. More
Delicious coffee and a great atmosphere! It was my first time trying and I will be back. I got the miel y canela latte (hot) and it's honestly the first latte I have really enjoyed - I'm usually a black coffee person. Decor is so fun and the owner is super nice!! Please support small business by going to this place! …
This place is an amalgamation of style, culture, fun, business and neighborhood. I love it here. The iced Mexican Mocha is the kind. We are always treated like old friends when we roll thru DDC. Give them. Try. Coffee and pastries and art and good music. Sit outside and enjoy Normal Heights!!
I've been waiting for a legit coffee shop to open in the neighborhood. I'm not a fan of the roast that most of the other shops offer but I really like James Coffee. Tony the owner and Jose the barista are amazing and the cafe has a cool vibe. This is definitely and new neighborhood stable.
I live a few blocks from dia del cafe, and in terms of coffee quality and taste it far surpasses its neighbors. My favorites are the miel y canela latte and the neblina latte. The service is happy and joyful to boot, so this is definitely my friendly neighborhood coffee shop of choice.
I recently checked out this coffee shop for a short work meeting. I was happy I did. The service was great and the spot was super cool. I enjoyed the e vibe and the coffee, and food. If you are looking for a cool coffee shop I’d recommend swinging by and checking this place out. More
I walked in and was immediately greeted, I enjoyed the attention to detail in the design of the place and felt very welcomed! I ordered the Miel y Canela Latte as well as some wedding cookies, and they were both outstanding in flavor! I will absolutely return in the future! More
Wonderful place! I worked for a decade in a little coffee bar and this place brings back great memories. Small, quaint shop serving high quality drinks made with love and care. Tremendous customer service! Really nice staff. Had a great Mexican spiced mocha. Highly recommended!
This place is amazing. The coffee was great, the pan dulce was great, the owners were great. Awesome place and lucky to have stumbled upon it! They're relatively new to Adams Ave and sure to be a favorite of the community! My friend and I
Exploring all of the little cafes in the area and this is definitely new in my top of favorites. Service was fast and friendly. Tony helped me out and made me an incredible drink after I told him it was my first visit. I am picky when it
If your looking for a great place to study, meet up, some pan dulce, and even say what up to Tony the Barista. Come here. Really great place to do work on the laptop. The neighborhood is nice. The art work inside is beautiful!!! I found
The coffee here is AWESOME! Absolutely without a doubt better than Starbucks and the best I’ve had from all of the smaller mom and pop coffee shops around here. The atmosphere is great, the people are nice. I really enjoyed just sitting
I’ve come here several times and everyone is so friendly and kind. This feels like (because it is) your neighborhood coffee shop. I highly recommend it for great coffee, yummy pastries, and friendly service! Special Shoutout to the team
Dia del Cafe is so good! The owner is very welcoming and the coffee was delicious. I got a Horchata Latte and Mexican Mocha latte and it undoubtedly some of the best lattes I've ever had! I also got a fresh concha and an apple turnover,
Update: just came by YET AGAIN on a Tuesday morning, at 8:35 AM. Open sign is on, door is locked. Hours on here said they opened at 7:30. Pretty unprofessional! This was my last attempt. Sticking to Twiggs and Black Market from now on.
Such a cozy place.. felt like I stopped by my tio's and he whipped me up some lunch. I enjoyed a mazapan latte and a hand & cheese panini (can't forget the jalapeno). Great service, great food, beautiful environment. More
If you want drip coffee this is not the place for you because they dont have any. The Horchata Latte tasted like cinnamon sugar water... not in a good way. Perhaps it was that I was expecting something creamier.
I wanted to visit this place so long but finally I did it on 9/30/23. After lunch with my friend, we decided to walk along the street. Then I saw the cafe I wanted to visit.
The coffee here is so so good, I get one anytime I’m in the neighborhood. Prices are very fair and staff is friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. More
Cool little spot. When you got the munchies good spot to hit up or while you wait for spot at barbershop grab and go. Parking might be little difficult. Affordable.
Got a chia latte and my fiancé got a horchata latte. Both were fantastic. Great little indie coffee shop. One of the many incredible gems of North Park! More
Great vibe.. creative craft coffee like you’d find in a stuffy hipster shop with a rad cultural twist - skip sbux and spend local
Loved the atmosphere and vibe of this place. I also happened to really love my sandwich (bacon egg and cheese panini). It was
One of the best coffee spots around San Diego. The coffee is amazing and the owner is so kind! Nice place to sit for a bit.
Nice coffee and concha, I enjoyed the atmosphere here. I feel I was in vacation in Mexico.
