Stood in line for an hour and 15 minutes even though management was available to move around freely, they would rather watch the older and obviously newer cashier struggle with the hustle and bustles crowd who's last option was the Dollar General store because all other competitive retail stores closed early. One employee closed her line and left over 20 people just out there in no where land. Still waiting patiently and cracking jokes along side me with no room to be socially distant so politely mind your mask buddy!!! Lined around the corner and up the aisle's. The people were patient As a former manager of the popular chain I was very disappointed to see people walking out with only one or two items which could have been addressed better than it was. I was really feeling like I should open a register and help out. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service not addressed this evening. So much for what the people call "Holiday Spirit", as it was lacking this particular evening. Customer service never showed up. See you in the funny papers DG Market!!!

Rough place. Barely good for essentials. With products especially packaged for their stores. What may appear a bargain, really a ripoff. Maybe the only redemption is cleaning products are a smidge cheaper than your average grocery. Definitely not the place to shop for healthy alternatives. Soaps and the like shelved under lids that are alarmed when you move to get what's inside. Apparently, everyone is a criminal. However, the day I was there, some guy crammed things in his pockets and dashed out the door. Setting the alarms off. Not a single employee did a thing about it. There were also these kids in the car park selling candies for a supposed school function, for $2 when their box and the individual candies themselves were labeled $1. When a man pointed out this discrepancy, the children got a bit violent. The security car in the car park just appears to be a decoy with it's obnoxious flashing lights. Never moving.... Maybe this places' appeal is just waiting to see what happens next?

First of all, this store was a mess!!! The shelves were all disheveled and there were clothing items all on the floor under and around the racks. I was in there between 5 and 6 PM which is peak time for people shopping on their way home from work...they only had 2, yes TWO checkout lanes open and BOTH cashiers were cutting up with people either finished shopping or waiting in line...my cashier was so busy talking to someone that she rung up an item I was purchasing 2 of 4 times...rather than take the two extra off..she asked me if I wanted to go get two more so that she didn't have to take them off my ticket!!! SERIOUSLY!?!? If I had wanted 4, I would have put 4 in my basket!!!

Stood in a line where cashiers machine "froze" according to cashier who coversated w/ friend she had, apparently not seen in some time. After that freeze cashier had to rescan items, a long w/$5 Saturday coupon, machine froze again. Cashier kept pressing one specific button repeatedly locking up system yet again. By this time remove my items from belt & went to another register. At that register there was another "freeze" so then went to yet ANOTHER register to finally make my purchase and leave Only took 20 minutes to shop for items, took way over 45 minutes to complete my transaction.

Really bad checkout lines, is been going on for over a year, they lose two or three hundred dollars from me monthly because I don't want to stand in line for 20 minutes. I go to other stores with less lines. I said something to people many times I've heard people complain and washed people get on their phone and text this problem, I don't understand how you think you're saving money by having one less person at less than $10 an hour when I walk out and put $30 or more of groceries back on the shelf and walk out of the store

I worked here as a stocker the boss and his little supervisores are disrespectful he would tell me I hope you don't last at AutoZone so I quit working here the customers bathroom never works the whole store is trash I'm shocked that health inspectors don't come and shut it down my last time working here I found a roach in the grocery department I let them know about it but nothing happened the workers are disrespecting they wouldn't even let you work but I had it so know I'm working at AutoZone making big money

I can usually find what I want here. I find this Dollar Market at the Thompson Lane location off the beaten path if you're going by bus. I don't like getting my fresh food here like vegetables or some fruits. But it is good for staple items like bread, milk, eggs, etc. I mainly come here because it is close. The store is easy to get around in and most of the time. I have used the bathroom here on several occasions, and mostly have found them cleaned with plenty of toilet paper and paper towels for hand drying.

This DG specifically has the slowest and longest checkout line's I've experienced. They only have 1 or 2 checkout lanes running, max! It doesn't matter what time you go, its always like that. I've seen people cuss, throw items & storm out. I've put items back & left too. A couple times Ive stood in line for 30 minutes! The employees are rude and just act like they don't care at all. Its in walking range from my house, but I try to avoid it if possible!

Okay I love this location because it's the only dollar market that's close to me that sells the baby frozen scallops. it's a cross-town from where I live but if I want those scallops this is where I have to come to it's a dollar market so it has more store like items than regular dollar stores fresh produce is awesome here and the prices are very affordable now sometimes the lines alone but when you add it all up I guess it's worth the wait. Hello everyone,this store is very friendly and they where there masks it just the customers that go in the store with out there and it is not right for those who wear their masks,if the store manager and security should tell those who don't wear the mask should go there is parents and there kid's don't even wear their masks that is not right,so please you all if the workers wear their masks we all should wear them to save lives okay,

Lots of stuff. Very organized but not enough registers. I stood in line talking with other people backed all the way down the aisles. Lady at the register was very nice and knew what she was doing. She apologized several times for the wait. They have 6 registers but only had 2 open and the store was packed. I saw several people walk out and leave their stuff. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Get those ladies some help...

Dollar General is a great place to find affordable items and great deals in general. My wife and I are committed and loyal customers. Even when in unfamiliar regions, we will go out of our way to GpS the nearest DG just to take our business there over the dollar store competitors. Their diapers are very affordable and if great quality. Also, they are the only brand of diapers we have found which our son is not allergic to.

Horrible treatment! I'm very tired of going to this garbage called a "store". Some cashiers at this store need to learn something called RESPECT! R-E-S-P-E-C-T! This is the second time that I visited this store and was treated poorly. Who ever owns this needs to hire employees that don't have a baby fit when they are supposed to do their job! Uneducated adults that act like kids with their little smart attitude.

It was right at the beginning of the Covid pandemic with people going hoarding crazy so we won't fault the condition of the store but normally the store is clean and well stocked and the employees are friendly and helpful. The grocery section, specifically the freezer and refrigerated section, offer some great finds and hidden gems for prices less than their grocery store competitors!

This is a small grocery store that has all the basics at a great price. They even have some fresh fruits and vegetables. As long as you are not doing grocery shopping on a large scale for specific items, this place is a great choice for your basic needs. It is, also, located right at a major intersection on Murfreesboro Road making it easily accessible.

Fresh vegetables are a joke.. they can't hire anyone because of the pay rate is too low. Associates are loud and many refuse to help consumers in wheelchairs. Store needs a really good cleaning. Debit card reader constantly out of order. Whole store needs to be reorganized and security added since this store has a high theft loss.

I am very disappointed with this place! They have Mt.Dew 4 for 10 and they had 1 six pack on the shelf and I ask if they had any in back and he said the Pepsi truck is here, so he goes and ask he comes back said no there isn't any on truck. That's BS if the truck is there to stock then where is the Dews???

Horrible!!!! The cashier's are yelling over the customers in line at each other. The actual facility leaves little to be desired in the cleanliness division and utter chaos in all directions of the store. I have never seen clerks talk so sassy to their customers. Not impressed. Won't go back ever!!!

The market stores offer a lot more selection of food items among other things. I am able to get most of my goods there When using the app digital coupons. Very easy to use after signing up. Once I'm at the store all I have to do is enter my phone number to get the coupons. Works great.

Some good values, need more employees, most the time there is only one line open at the busiest hours and a line that goes thru the store. Also need a bench outside for people to sit cause a lot of customers use taxi service to get places and have to wait outside for long time periods.

It's a Dollar General Store, with what you normally find, but Also a Market with milk,eggs, pizzas' roast, steaks, can goods, bread, tortillas, chips, ice cream, sodas' , detergents ,its like two stores in one.A large size store, which would have you say, wow they got all of this here.

it works dishonestly here. I saw the price tag there was $ 2 And they charged me $ 4. I bought two berries, one for $ 2, the other for $ 1.5. And they charged me $ 8, this is very dishonest, it is considered a theft. I was here. for the first time and this will be the last time.

asked for assistance and was all but blown off by the cashier cause she was too involved in her own personal conversation and couldnt be bothered by me asking her to check a price for me when this employee was at a register that was open and was suposed to be serving customers

Every time I go in thinking I have coupons there is something that doesnt get taken off. I quit shopping here because of that. You take the time to go online clip your coupons and don't get your discount. Items are oddly placed. Hard to find what you are looking for.

Well shopping trip was a total bust. Nothing was in stock nor was there prices or sales posted and they didnt have not 1 penny item and it was a Home store which was the only thing good because I've been driving 40 mins to the only other closest Home Store

They have abundant parking. The store is generally stocked well. Prices are fair. Staff is friendly enough. However, this place can get slammed! I mean not moving for 10 minutes in line. It is often so bad that people leave their merchandise and walk out.

The staff is always nice, great location and always clean and organized. There has been a few incidents where a particular staff member was been very unprofessional in his behavior but as soon as it was presented to managers they resolve the issue.

It’s decent when it comes to the items they have in stock. However, in previous times I’ve come across situations that involved disrespectful employees. An attitude over a question about the price. There are more professional ways to respond.

It was horrible. The refrigerated orange juice had soured sitting in the cooler area. It was the longest store visit ever the few lines that were open were long and they weren't moving fast at all. Every line needed manhandled assistance!

We are supposed to wear a mask to enter this store. I don't have a problem with wearing a mask but i feel like the cashiers SHOULD also wear a mask. A cashier didn't have one on and sneezed all over the register area. YUCK

Ms Sandra always has a friendly smile and welcoming presence. Just look at how neat her shelves are. She said " If it looks like my cupboards at home then I'M Happy". Walmart has never Rolled it back to me like that. Abide

Cashier didn't know job function and no one was willing to help her.(training issue obviously) Store wasn't kept up(products faced) kinda chaotic... Not impressed. Aldi is cheaper and offers better products IMO

One of my favorite dollar general to shop in Nashville. The employees are friendly and helpful. You are required to wear a mask and to social distance while shopping in the store during the covid-19 period.

I love this place cheap on there food only downfall is they only have 1 handicap grocery buggy and i have to have one cause I'm unable walk around and shop other than that it's a gd place

I love coming here. Just for the fact that they have Mexican products and that one time while I was going threw money problems I ended up not having enough money a cashier helped me out

They are not enforcing local mask mandates. Even the woman whose name badge identified her as the store manager was not wearing a mask. As a high risk person, I will not be returning.

Either long lines with no cahiers or the credit card machines will not work. Just left attempting to pick up a few things. I left with no items and a headache.

Out of canned ham and does not sell beer. Little bit more expensive than Kroger and doesn't have a big variety but still easier if you just need a few things

I had an extremely long wait based on the number of registers open. The employees were very friendly, however, and the store clean.

I had to pay 50 dollars with 80 cents and I gave the cashier 60$ and only gave me 1 cents?!?! ( it had to be 9 $ with 2 cents?!!!!
