Honestly run. They have a bit of everything, but that's not why I'm writing this first Google review. I'm writing to share a quick story about how the owners have contributed to the kindness of the neighborhood: A woman came in buying several sets of plastic plates, cups, and napkins--the way you would when you're planning for a family picnic or party. The total came up to be more than she felt comfortable paying. The female proprietor asked the customer, "How much do you have?" implying that she would work with the customer to find a price that she would feel comfortable paying. The customer insisted, "No, that's all right. May I remove some of the plates and napkins?" And as the female proprietor updated the purchase total along the way, the customer apologized to the owners and other customers like myself who were patiently waiting their turn to pay. After a few rounds, the customer paid for her items and had removed almost half of what she originally intended to buy. As the customer walked out saying 'thank you' and apologizing to us all, I saw the male proprietor catch up to her just outside of the store. He discretely gave her the double set of napkins she put back and said for her to please take it. Such goodness of heart. Thank you.

I’m new to the neighborhood.. I’ve gone into stores and haven’t gotten a good vibe or welcoming energy.. plus everything is OVERPRICED!! BUT This small Discount store is a hidden treasure .. my son and I walked in and the people there were so pleasant! We were able to get dish detergent for under $2 which is major in this area , a twist mop$6, broom $4 and a curtain rod $4.. with tax $18 .. I will be back for the curtains, bathroom mats and cleaning supplies oh even a nice plant ! 10/10 experience for me alphabet city gem !

This place is the best, they have everything and their prices are very affordable. I recently moved to the block and only wish I had known about them sooner; I would have saved myself a lot of miserable trips to nearby Target. Highly recommend if you need soft home goods, brand name cleaning supplies and hygiene products, tools, or other miscellaneous around-the-house stuff.

They usually have it! Sometimes the workers may not even know what they have. I mean that in a good way, just shows that they have the works here. Only discount store left in this area, im here often & it still amazes me how go in there for ONE thing and leave w 4 lol These owners have been around for yrs!!

Great for household products (detergents, dish soap, trays, containers, coffee filters, batteries, stationary, some hardware, sweatshirts, picture frames, paper towels, etc.). Open 10:00AM -8:00PM.

I’ve been going to Dollar Plus for years! I remember when they were on Avenue B in the middle of the block. I love this place and should’ve been wrote a review. Great people ❤️❤️
