"Very very rude doc Amal Hassan with a terrible approach towards her clients"
I have been a patient of doctor Hassan for 14 years. I don't even know where to begin. Here are just a few of my issues I've encountered: I had depression in my early 20s and she completely dismissed it claiming it was all in my head. I had cyctic acne a long my chin and jaw line from the age of 20-28 to which she said it wasn't bad and i shouldn't be worried. She never even looked at it other than from across the room and I told her I was too embarrassed to be in public without makeup on. She provided no blood testing, no treatment, just a lotion that I told her several times did nothing. I have had severe migraines since I was a child. I told her about a medication that worked for my other family members, but she gave me something a bit different. Later I learned that you cannot take that medication and birth control together. She prescribed this medication knowing I was on birth control that she prescribed me. At another appointment I asked her if she had heard of any new migraine breakthroughs to which she replied, "no, normally people don't get migraines after puberty". And finally last year I injured my shoulder. I could not lift my arm without pain and it had been a month since I could sleep on that side. She got me an ultrasound but nothing appeared. It was still extremely painful but she dismissed it and said it would heal eventually. MONTHS later, there was no difference. I went to the walkin to get a requesition for an MRI. I had a tear and a cyst and I'm finally going through proper treatment. Overall, she doesn't believe what you say, she can't even be bothered to get out of her chair to examine you and she is unfamiliar with common medical conditions, medicine and how they interact. I see her only when I absolutely have to. Maybe once a year. Her hours are awful and her wait times are over an hour (with an appointment). I go to the walkin for most of my needs. They are way more helpful and considerate.
I have never met a more empty headed doctor. She wrote a prescription for me with the wrong name on it. Her staff was rude and unhelpful when the pharmacy tried to confirm that the prescription was for me. The office left the pharmacist on hold for over 10 minutes which left me standing there waiting for her to correct the prescription for even longer. Long story short, I ended up going to a walk in clinic as I wouldn’t trust this doctor with my life.
Dr. Amal Hassan has been my family doctor since I was a child. My entire family, including my own children now see her. Her reception staff is the worst it's been in years. I call and leave messages and I never get a call back. I always have to keep calling till I get a live person to talk to. It's so ridiculous. I'm looking for a new family doctor now since she's so hard to reach. Just ridiculous.
Me ,my wife and my kids have been a clients for doctor Amal since she started her clinic in 2005 , she is very professional , acknowledgeable and honest person, take time to listen and solve issues and cares a lot about her patients , I never thought ever to move to another doctor until she resign. thank you do doctor Amal from your clients Mahmoud and Haifaa.
Very very rude doc Amal Hassan with a terrible approach towards her clients. She insists repeatedly on shifting file to her to just consult(to know the doc and then make a decision to make her family doc) and makes face on hearing another family doctor's name. No one's gonna SHIFT to her when she says she wasted her time on us. TERRIBLE.
Extremely rude and unprofessional, speaks in a humiliating and dergatory tone, refuses to listen to anything at all, she acts as if its bothering her to see you, and she deliberately spends no more than 2 minutes with patients. I dont think ive ever met a more rude doctor. She goes out of her way to make people feel unwelcome.
Asallamu alaykum sisters and brothers. Doctor Amal Hassan is the best doctor . She is my family doctor from last 16 years and we never needed to go to any other doctor God bless her
Rushes you out the office Does not clearly give any information when you need a x-ray or anything at all and horrible customer service do not recommend
The give information by phone then they chang it when you get there . The reception staff not helpful at all . I wasted my time and money to go there .
My family and I have been going to Dr Hassan, for over a decade. She is great, very professional and compassionate with her patients.
Waiting time is way too long and Annoying...she end up seeing you for 2 minutes..So Annoying..!!
She told my sister to drink a lot of water to get rid of her cold. I'm no doctor but WTF?
