I am not and have not been particularly pleased with the services received from the front desk. But today's call was particularly bad. The front desk representative I spoke with insinuated over and over again I was lying. Essentially calling me a liar. I had a virtual call with Dr. Fadwa for 6:10 pm on the 24th of August, by the way, this was an appointment booked in July. Despite being on vacation I logged in at least 5mins before my appointment and waited on the call for more than 10mins before dropping off. Today when I called to reschedule the appointment, the front desk representative insists several times I did not make my appointment because there is a no-show on file. She goes on to run me through the company policy of not attending to patients outside of Canada even though this appointment was to review test results I took in July and how I would have to pay a 60cad policy for not making my appointment. So my question is do I get paid when the Dr. does not show up on time for appointments or is this a one-way policy? Because after going back and forth, the lady made it look like she was doing me a favor by waiving the 60cad and rescheduling my appointment. Appreciate some clarity here because I must be missing something. ==================================================== PS Dear Dr. Fadwa, Thank you for your feedback. I want to believe my point must have been missed out in the feedback I provided. My point really is not about finding a new doctor or targeting you for no “reason”. My issue remains I was called a lair several times and policies I was not aware of were thrown at me on a take it or leave it basis. This for me especially being called a liar is disrespectful. It would have been best for the front desk representative to simply say even if it was in a flat tone “This is what the policy says, take note for future instances. However, I will reschedule your appointment”. In the years we have spent with you as a family, I can count the number of times I did not show up for an appointment, there are days I have stayed online longer than the allotted time. So please let’s both focus on the issue. The front desk representative was totally out of line to have insinuated, let alone call me a liar. This is the issue, and it is not okay.

Her receptionist is extremely rude, arrogant and ill- mannered. She keeps talking, without letting you speak, you can not talk to the doctor for two issues, you have to come again for the next issue, which takes at least 2 weeks to book another appointment. The doctor has over 1000 patients and cannot give enough time and care to her patients properly. Her receptionist made us wait 1 hour when we had an appointment saying there are walk in patients as well and when we did a walk in she said there are appointments and made us wait till the end. When I went to raise this issue to her, she became very rude, authoritative and even crossed her limits and told me I'm going to deal with you later and started talking to someone else. I don't know how people with such behaviour and attitude get recruited at sensitive places as clinics. I'm going to make an official complaint to Collaborative Healthcare and the Ministry of Health because a doctor should have a limitation of a number of patients they take on instead of giving patients bad service. P.s. I posted the comment on Collaborative Healthcare Network and the response I received was outrageous and even more surprising because by not condemning the nurse's behaviour, the Doctor endorsed it.

Though 'competent' I find this Doctor unfortunately allows her ego to undermine quality care. Refused to acknowledge forgetting to document and send a much needed referral to a neurologist. Instead the Doctor refused to make an amendment to my file and would not fast track my referral either. Too egocentric and insecure. Don't be fooled by the fact she teaches at McMaster. Being hired to teach doesn't necessarily make you great when practicing with patients. I would not recommend her at all.. In lieu of Dr. El Said's response with false claims against me I have decided to edit my review. Dr. El Said: you and I both know your allegations of "repeated no shows" and staff harassment are completely false. You closed my file because you did not want your record tarnished by admitting fault in failing to document our appointment appropriately and refused to make an amendment to the file for this reason. As a helping professional who belongs to a professional college you should be ashamed of your actions. I have all the evidence I need and will allow the college of physicians and surgeons to take in from here.

I would like to start by saying that I am very displeased with the services at this location with Dr. Hadid. I originally had an appointment scheduled for April 30, 2022 which I had to reschedule because he was not going to be in the office. When we showed up for our appointment for May 14, 2022 at 1:40 p.m not only was he not there but the receptionist/admin could not tell us what time he would be there. The appointment was for my husband, our newborn and myself. We waited for 10 mins more after speaking to the receptionist/admin and then we left because for a first impression this is not professional for a meet and greet of a new family doctor or in general at all. The fact that I would be charged if I missed my appointment was also ridiculous as the Dr. wasn’t even there on time and had multiple appointments. Another couple who had a premature baby was also upset by the lack of professionalism here and had also decided to leave. So disappointed

I will not be a patient at this clinic, although I’ve heard wonderful things about the doctor herself. This decision is solely due to my quick interactions with the male receptionist. He hung up in my face three times without letting me finish my thoughts or sentences. He was hard to understand, mumbled and didn’t speak up. He rudely told me he wasn’t accepting new patients, although I have personal request from the dr. that I’m on the waitlist. Second time I called back he said he would check and hung up. Third time I called back was to tell him to say goodbye properly and have some common courtesy with basic customer service etiquette. He said ‘oh goodbye’ and hung up for the final time It’s a shame because I really wanted that spot with the doctor but unfortunately, I would not want to deal with that type of service with every interaction. Big big big shame!

Dr Elsaid is our family doctor for almost 3 years. She is highly competent and professional in her approach. She goes extra mile for her patients, you can tell that she puts her patients first and how much she has increased her availability during the pandemic i.e. highly appreciated. Over the time we noticed that due to her professionalism her demand has increased, but this doctor still has the best interest of her patients at heart. One of the best doctors in town...we strongly recommend.

Dr. Elsaid has failed me and my children time and time again. She has not seen my children once in person since the start of the pandemic. I've had to wait hours and hour in ERs just to check my children for minor symptoms like ear infections. Even with a negative covid test, this doctor refuses to do in any person visits whatsoever. This doctor is engaging in unethical practice. You only need to read other reviews to see that this type of behaviour is typical of her.

Dr. El Said is very pleasant and funny, caring, extremely knowledgeable and up to date on everything and very professional. She has been looking after my family for about 5 years now and we been beyon pleased with her care. She listens to her patients, does not rushes and provides clear informations and exceptional care. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great family doctor.

The worse family doctor ever. She is never available. I can't street on this more but she is NEVER available. And if you ask for another doctor they will give you an appointment after two to three weeks. If you tell me you need to consult a doctor asap they will tell you to go to the emergency even for minor things. Highly unprofessional and pathetic service.

There is absolutely I sense of urgency when you call the office. I have been suffering from a torn ligament for almost 3 months now, and I have not been able to schedule and appointment to see the dr. When you call the number it redirects you to the website and WhatsApp. You keep getting bounced around to just get an appointment

To be honest, I've had mixed experienced throughout the years but things seemed to be getting better recently. I am rating the clinic one star higher than I planned to because the receptionist Sam (I think that is his name) has always been very professional and helpful.

She's never available. If I call to book an appointment, I have to wait 3 weeks to a month minimum which is absolutely ridiculous. The other thing is the receptionist is so incomptent and something as simple as faxing a prescription to a pharmacy can not be done right.
