We took our vehicle to Eccles after service recommendations from another shop - Eccles did their own evaluation and found a completely different issue - it took a little time as it was a labour intensive job but turned out to be a few thousand dollars less than the original estimate of work we had from the other mechanic. We are more than happy with their honesty, communication and the work they did. It's a bit out of the way for us to go there, but we will be doing our servicing there moving forward. Highly recommended!

Brought vehicle to Eccles after reading a post in a community group about how great they are and how they give back to the community. For our needs they were able to service our Volvo for less than half of the dealership cost yet what they offered felt so much more. From the pleasant service to the follow up digital report and further follow up call I felt like all my needs were met and then some and they have earned my trust that our vehicle will be well taken care of. They have a new customer for years to come!

I use this auto service exclusively. They have looked after my car and my parent’s car for many years. They have excellent customer service and expertise when they first begin to work on your car. They are assessment is very detailed and clear on what needs to be done, and they always provide several options that are based on safety and economy. I am so thankful to have them as my community Auto Service. They know what they’re doing and how important it is to provide such excellent service.

Not my first time here and most certainly won’t be my last. Scott and the team have always treated me fairly never trying to sell me on a service or part I didn’t need. Car has always been repaired in the time frame given and as quoted. It’s extremely hard these days to find a decent, honest shop. I’d say this is one of the last few good ones. After taking my car to 2 reputable mechanics that were recommended to me by friends, one who said he heard no noise coming from my car, the other charged $245 and car still noisy. I went to Eccles in Dundas. I went there as I had seen them thru CHCH interviews. They determined the problem and showed me the problem. Please don't waste your time going other places. BTW, I was treated with respect. That means a lot.

Talked to Anne, agreed to have brand new tires mounted and road-force balanced for $190 tax in. Made an appointment, drove 40km one-way for this. When I came in, was told the price is actualy $350, and that $190 is for already mounted tires. I was clear that I needed tires mounted from the beginning, both in my online request and over the phone!!!

After an inspection of an exhaust issue, I was given two options. First to see if it can be welded, second to replace the affected section with new parts. I could have easily been told that there was no way to repair the problem but to replace. The staff was able to repair the problem with a huge cost savings to me. Thanks Eccles!
