Title: The Agonizing Wait: A Disastrous Dining Experience Introduction: In today's fast-paced world, we expect efficiency and promptness in all aspects of our lives, including dining out. Unfortunately, my recent encounter at a popular restaurant shattered these expectations as I endured an excruciatingly long wait for my food. This review aims to shed light on the dismal experience I had, highlighting the unbearable wait time and its impact on my overall dining experience. First Impressions: From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was met with a bustling atmosphere and a cacophony of conversations. The ambiance was pleasant, with warm lighting and tasteful décor. My initial enthusiasm, however, quickly waned as I noticed the chaos that unraveled around me. Tables seemed understaffed, and servers appeared overwhelmed, frantically running from one end to another. Little did I know that this disarray would be a harbinger of the painfully prolonged meal that awaited me. The Dreaded Wait: As I settled into my seat, I anticipated a swift service, eager to indulge my senses in the culinary delights promised by the restaurant's menu. Little did I know that my excitement would soon be replaced by sheer frustration. The wait time was simply unbearable, stretching far beyond what any reasonable person would consider acceptable. Minutes turned into an hour, and an hour into eternity as I watched other tables receive their orders while mine seemed to be lost in the abyss of inefficiency. To add insult to injury, our server rarely made an appearance, compounding our frustration and leaving us feeling neglected. The lack of communication from the staff only deepened our exasperation, as we were left to wonder whether our meals were being forgotten altogether. The Impact on the Dining Experience: The prolonged wait time had a detrimental effect on the overall dining experience for me and my companions. Our anticipation turned into annoyance, inhibiting our ability to fully enjoy the restaurant's ambiance and engage in meaningful conversation. The atmosphere that initially seemed inviting now felt suffocating, as the prolonged wait heightened our impatience and dampened our spirits. Additionally, the prolonged wait cast a shadow of doubt on the quality of the food itself. We couldn't help but question whether the excessive wait was indicative of a lackadaisical approach to food preparation or a disregard for customer satisfaction. As minutes turned into hours, our expectations plummeted, leaving us disillusioned and skeptical about the restaurant's ability to deliver on its promises. Conclusion: Horrid service.

Good value for money with the meals but food was average. Upon ordering, we asked if the crumbed chicken had any spices, etc. We were told "No, normal. No spice". The chicken had pepper in it and it was way too much for the children to eat. So kids struggled to eat those like popcorn chicken thingys The crumbed pieces were exactly souther style flavour and got overwhelming after a few bites as the seasoning was bit too much. Grilled chicken was ok, very underwhelming with flavour. The thing was the highlight was the chips dipped in the gravy. Gravy was yum. Service was ok, quick and efficient but feel staff lack people skills. Server who bought the food to the table just popped it down with bit of a rude attitude "here's your food", no eye contact, no time for us to say Thank You and just turned away to gasbag to a fellow worker about their personal life. Overall, its ok. Won't rush back anytime soon. However, we may have a better experience at another store.

, well. Gotta be some of the best fried and charcoaled chicken I've had. A mate and I shared the family deal, what a meal. Great set up, kit meal with wraps, dip, chips & chicken. The charcoal chicken is to juicy and tender, great flavour. The fried chicken is fresh and non greasy like other places. It to was tender and full of juice. Large store, meals brought out to you in an orderly fashion.

The food is fabulous. Crispy chicken, well cooked charcoal chicken. Although the charcoal chicken was a tad dry. Chips were a bit below average and not crispy and dry. Disappointed that with a $200+ order they did not provide all items that was ordered and paid. The question was asked is that everything? And the person responded yes. Ordered two of the big meals, extra chicken, drinks. Was short 2 bags of bread, we had no bread for the meal. And short 1 large chips. Reading reviews for El Jannah for other stores too, it seems like this may be common practice. Perhaps standard processes on how to complete orders should be enforced and training rolled out to minimise this, its essentially robbing people of food. Sad, because the food is very good and would make it easy to return. Although it is on the pricy end of chicken.

I arrived home to my meal with the longest hair the chicken. Called the online service to see what could be done and was told that I would have to drive back to receive a refund or replacement. Previously, the pick-up service was appalling. I ordered the meal via online; it took the servers 1 hour to complete the meal. They completed orders based on a call out system; whoever is the loudest customer they will receive their order first. I hesitated posting this as I absolutely adore the food from el Jannah, however, the past two times I have ordered I have been left with a bad taste in my mouth. edit: 1⭐️ Everybody deserves a redemption arc. Unfortunately, El Jannah has fallen flat again for its horrendous customer service.

Drive-through** : customer service was not friendly. They were extremely busy and the person taking orders was impatient. The two people serving the drive through seemed to be confused about the orders and missed giving an item to the driver in front of me .they were then confused if they had gone to the waiting bay. They then asked me to go park in the waiting bay despite my order being right in front of them and the only item missing was a water bottle. Your Drive through staff need more support! Chicken was good but a little on the salty side and dry.

Eljannah is by far the best place to eat charcoal chicken. Offering delicious food in a very clean environment with very clean restrooms. How they do this during the dinner rush is beyond me. Credit where its due this chain of stores runs rings around all other fast food places. MacDonald management need to take a lesson from the team at Eljannah.. it doesn't matter if i go to Smithfield, Burwood, Punchbowl, Kogarah, Newtown or Liverpool in NSW or Preston or Campbellfield in Vic its always the same delicious food in exceptionally clean dining rooms and very clean restrooms. Well Done!!

Great place. Plenty of room to sit down, not crammed, lots of both area or tables and chairs. Available on Uber eats and you can also drive through the area. Middle Eastern the modern way. Highly recommend shish tawook wrap meals. Add on some salads, dips or sauce. Better yet open till late so very accommodating. Enjoy and rate them well they deserve at least 4.5 stars

Every time you come here for takeaway they forget something. Happened on 2 occasions- first time they were pretty busy they missed some sauces and gravy. No big deal. Didn’t bother worrying about some gravy and sauces even after paying for them. Second time, they missed some chicken and gravy. Went back in and had to show proof I didn’t get the items. Mind blown. Mind you it was ONLY $10 worth of stuff, so not much at all really. Just wanted the chicken bites. Apparently they had to ‘investigate’ and without proof they were missing they couldn’t investigate.

The first time i got El Jannah the food was not that good and i gave it another try and im glad i did. Everything was delicious the burger was generously filled, the tenders are generously sized and the wings are nice crisp. The food you can tell it was freshly made as it was still hot when i arrived considering i live around 15 minutes away. I also appreciate how they provided many napkins and forks and would highly recommend very delicious

We visited this place with no expectations as El Jannah brand is new to Melbourne. And we gave the Preston branch so so marks. As the meal didn't meet the mark as per hype. However we were pleasantly surprised to find the food at this branch fresh and tasty. The ambience is good with plenty of space to dine in. But we fear newness will corrode after dealing mass traffic. For customer service it's just satisfactory. After all it's fast food service. The humous size should have been bigger. Value for money is good.

Exactly as I remember Sydney El Jannah, Campbellfield EJ serves super fresh and juicy chicken, crispy hot chips, super quickly. This location is 50 mins drive for me but I’ve already done the drive to return twice. Some things are worth it, and this is one. I’d recommend getting some extra bread and garlic sauce to take home. We order the family packs which are really great value.

Great pricing, great food, the charcoal chicken is probably the best I've tasted in my life and that's not an exaggeration. Got a quarter chicken meal and it was so good I got another to satisfy that urge. Only feedback is maybe consider using bigger chickens, something with more meat in it since the ones we had were skinny ish. Good ambience for a fast food joint and customer service was nice. Go Muslim businesses!

Fairly decent meals at a competitive price. The food and the whole place have the inevitable industrial/fast food feel about them, but the speed and efficiency of their customer service is excellent. Ordering online was a breeze and the food was ready exactly as promised, with a very straightforward pickup process. A great place for a filling fast food meal.

Food was amazing. The fried chicken is beautiful and the charcoal chicken was full of flavour. The charcoal chicken was not dry at all. The taboulli is beautifully made. Gravy tasted a bit plain and was a bit cold but whatever. It did not take long for the food to arrive after ordering. Table was filthy with food from the previous customers and we had to clean it ourselves because the staff were taking too long to come and clean it.

O……M……G!!!!!! Seriously good chicken is an understatement! This is my first time here but it’s definitely not my last! The chicken was absolutely delicious, the skin was crispy and full of flavour while the meat was both tender and juicy. Was so good there was nothing left.

During our visit to the Campbellfield branch, we found the atmosphere to be pleasant, but it was excessively crowded. Although the food was hyped as exceptional, we found it to be mediocre. Specifically, we tried the crispy meal and discovered that the fried wings were undercooked.
