I love El Rancho, they have the freshest everything! They make fresh fruit water daily, strawberry, banana, mango, you name it. The locations convenient to my lodging within walking distance. The bakery is filled with magazine quality desserts. All the clerks I've encountered have good vibes, are patient, and courteous. The store stays clean. The prices are extremely affordable, and they stay well stocked! Every store should strive for this level of excellence. Stiletto Acrylic on 22*28 paint board illustration represents me walking to the store, buying fresh produce, making chilli beans you'd want to die for, and the last sketch on 11*14 paint board, done with good old markers, represents all the mouths salivating from smelling the way I eat fresh! Lol

As soon as you come in you are greeted to some fresh bread they want you to buy some first I guess, which is what I did picked out some pan dulce. Wanted a agua Fresca but the booth where it said order here no one there you had to go to the food line and I was already waiting at the other line. And no sign or maybe the lady telling me form in this other line. They didn't really seem like they wanted my business. Yet again maybe it was one of those days and they just wanted the shift to be over. Great store the meat and dairy department was nice. Lots of Mexican products to choose from and some okay prices.

Oh the folks were really nice. Me and my brother and his wife, my sista in law had lunch in the restaurant in there we toasted chicken and rice and beans, and while my sista n law bought her groceries, I was intrigued by fish market so bought me some sevishi to go to Passover week I felt go there. Only thing I didn't like were the outside venders outside the grocery store. He was selling religious idols of San Martin. Thats offensive to because I am a believer in Jesus Christ. So I hope the store manager will tell him to leave and don't come back no more.

Bad service at the bakery. Went to order a cake for my dad's birthday and the lady working at the bakery kept talking to another employee as I stood and stare finally they took my order and I went ahead and pre pay it. When I went to pick up the cake 2 days later I found out my cake was not made!! The same employee was frustrated and told me she don't make the cakes and the bakers were gone for the day. I spoke to customer service and demanded my money back! Not a single I'm sorry or we will work on this issue was told.

Place is stinky and over crowded in my opinion. Went last week for the first time and not only was it packed full of people but you had to take turns with people just to push your cart down an isle. Another thing I noticed is their prices on items were higher than they should be for a basic and small grocery store. Not impressed at all. Fiesta grocery stores are much better and cleaner too. I will not be going back here anytime soon nor will I be recommending any of my friends, co workers or relatives to shop here.

The ladies at the "Cocina” where they sell prepared food, are so rude and show blatant favoritism to MEN costumers. Not only do they give you attitude when THEY mess up your order, they’ll give you lesser food and gossip right in front of you, like?, your in your 40’s, your not in high school anymore, grow up. Other than the cocina workers, everything is neat and the other workers are polite and have charisma, the Cocina workers should be more like the Carnicería workers, they know how to interact with people.

I went to the restaurant area and ordered a taco plate with rice beans the lady that attended me was very helpful great attitude when she asked what I wanted to drink I told her what aguas frescas they had. she even let me try a few & ended up with the agua fresca de platano y leche. Everything was delicious great Mexican food but what made it even more great is the great customer service they had was beyond my expectations. I'm excited to go back and try their other great food and raspados n shakes.

Negatives: The food court is not ideal. The wait is always long. They don't have a good line system, so people are always trying to cut. The food is very bland and has no flavor. The store is quite small, so it gets hard to get around, especially with carts. Positives: If this was just for the bakery, I would give them 5 stars. Their flan is amazing, but they also have a large variety of authentic Mexican pastries. Their creamery is great, and their fruit selection is fresh.

Been here a few times - Amazing place for all your Mexican food needs!!! Panaderia with amazing sweet breads, bolio rolls, and beautiful tres leches cakes that are to die for!!!! Had lunch at their little eatery and tried the Chile relleno, carne asada gordita, and pollo de fajita taco plate - loved everything!!!! Aguas Frescas we tried melon con leche and the horchata both delicious!!! Got some chicharrones to go and checked out the delicious meat counter!!!

  • Laura Gonzalez

The managers are not very helpfull at all rather their very rude, the place is unsanatary, some fruits and veggies are gone bad. When i went tgeir a couple of days ago what looked like a super visor was getting on to an employee amd screaming at her very loudly. I however worked at grocery store before and i never done such thing ti humiliate an employee the way he did i will no longer be coming to this unsafe, unsanatary place ever again.

  • Ashley Rodriguez

They have good sweets and fruits! The store is really cramped though! The isles arent big enough to go down comfortabley with two carts, always have to let the other person come out before proceding! They also have some good food at their restaurant part of the store! The parking lot stinks because of such small parking spaces you end up parking really close to another vehicle makes hard to get in and out especially with kids!

  • Angelica Colorado

I like that they have almost everything you need for your groceries and there produce is pretty decent. But that store is so crowded! You can not shop peacefully I believe cause it's way to small and alot of people shop there specially on the weekend. So go during the week if you can other wise you will be there for a long time! Shopping and checking out! Also very warm I that store

  • cody rivas

On the 16th of June I bought about 4 bags of bread and later discovered that the empanada bread with filling as well as the chocolate swirl muffins had some ingredient that made my teeth hurt. It felt similar to getting the cold treatment at the dentist to check for sensitivity and nerve damage. This is definitely not the normal and I fell that someone may be sabotaging the bread.

  • Julio Martinez

Like their prices on the items I go to shop there for. Only problem I have is the quality of there flour tortillas made there. They use to look home made before. Now they are only half way cooked. You can tell by how they look and how they are hard with no color to them. Use to love to buy them before because they were ready to eat. Now you have to finish cooking them.

  • Alex garcia

The store has very good options of Hispanic items. Not very many healthy options. The store is also very disorganized and has tight space between aisles making it hard to get around with your shopping cart. Also you will be standing in line for a while as they can’t seem to move the lines fast enough which creates more limited space to get around the store.

  • Mari Herrera

I DID NOT FEEL SAFE. Management needs to be more cautious about how many people enter during this pandemic time. It was crowded and people were NOT SOCIAL DISTANCING. I shopped here because they were interviewed about the cleanness during this time. Even though i tried to avoid people they still get very close. It was irritating. I just had to hurry out.

  • Ninfa DePalma

Love this Mexican grocery store! They have almost everything I need. The service is fast and the staff are really helpful and friendly. They have a deli that has great tasting meals, and the prices are good. Their produce section is huge and the veggies and fruits are well priced. The meat counter is always full of customers so I don't stop there.

  • Mal W

Food and prices are OK, could be better with better deals more regularly. People OK and some more friendly than other but overall, should maybe be more friendly to people who don't appear to be Spanish speakers because everyone's money is spent there. Also, love the hot food area...they are always nice and friendly to everyone!!

  • sara fuentes

I love this place. I live 4 hours away, and it is my must to stop place. The bakery is to die for, all the spices from Mexico that I can not find just any where. The Carnitas, Atoles, Caldos, Tacos, are just a few of my favorites on the menu(for sure it's no regular deli) every time I am in this store, it makes me miss Mexico

  • Alicia Colin

Awesome selection of produce but kind of in a sketchy part of town. I went here looking for ingredients for a Mexican style chicken soup when I was super sick and was able to locate everything I needed that I couldn't find at my neighborhood market. They have a bakery with fresh delicious pastries as well as super low prices!

  • Robin Wester

This El Rancho location is horrible. It is packed and soOo tight in there that you can barely move around. My partner is in a wheelchair and he can't even go in to this location without being trapped or blocked by people and stuff in the isles. It makes me so sad because it is one store that has great sales on meat and fruit.

  • Karolyn Benjamin

Their prices are high and when I was there it was so crowded I could barely walk the aisles to get to what I needed. Lines at checkout were long as well, even the express lane. I'd also say if you are looking for Mexican fare it is a good place to shop, but everything else is hard to find there. $$$$

  • Nastassja McCullough

If you want good quality foods, home necessities--such as bleach, toilet tissue, cleaning products El Rancho is the place to go. I liked the one in Arlington and discovered this one is close to my job for all my needs. By the way buy a tamale while you shop--they are not stingy with the meat.

  • Paul Kim

Great fruits, vegetables, bread. Had Great prices on watermelon . Better than other stores. The only bad part was the fact that mother does not receive any form of ads/promotional flyers from them anymore. But it's a market that people should keep in mind when shopping for groceries.

  • Melissa Ruiz

I wish it was more spacious. I definitely do not shop here with my children. It's like a can of sardines. Other than that they usually have good sales and pretty stocked on items. Please do something about the panhandling. I don't appreciate being approached as I walk in or at my car.

  • Joe Box

I love this place! The al pastor and discada are the best I have bought from any of the Mexican supermarkets! Hit the meat department and get you some to cook up! You won't regret it. The picture is of their ice cream.bar. Looks amazing but haven't had a chance to give it a try!

  • Jenny Ramirez

Not my favorite store, but I would much rather shop online and have it all delivered. I don't know how I ever went shopping in-store, with all of the crowds, rude employees(NOT HERE), and never being able to find the items that I went there for in the first place.

  • Rhonda Antwine

Love this store even though some of the Mexican give you dirty looks like why you shopping here and the store is owned by gringas but we still shop here without a care I. The world they have the best prices on mean and I like the Hispanic drink as well …

  • F Vz04

The employee's are rude especially in the bakery they act like they don't want to be bothered... it took almost 10mins for them to attend us turns out that they wanted to charge me $40 for a small cake! The Cakes there are way over PRICED not worth it at all.

  • Janie Vela

I just love this store, but it could be a lot better if they have more people that understand you when you speak English to them.. or if the so called head cashiers or supervisors could improve their customer service but other than that I love their products

  • Eva Duran

Well dis place is ALRITE I guess.. when u need to grab something quick for dinner u can jus run n and out.. only thing here thier meat products area jus has uh smell and thier meat products expire with uh day or too after purchase.. dnt like tht at all..

  • Jorge Gaytan

We had visited another location of the supermarket in Irving and the food was wonderful, so when I saw this one we didn’t hesitate on stopping by, but it was total deception. The barbacoa was awfully greasy the rice was old and hard and the beans salty.

  • A.E. B.

Those grocery store is awesome It has one od the most impressive deli, bakery, hot foods and drinks bars I have seen in town. Like a little food court. The prices are great and the checkouts and parking lot are really nice and easy to navigate through.

  • Brenda Velasquez

This is the place I come to get all my carne asada essentials! From the chips and salsa, to the main course of tacos, sides and chicharron, to the drinks for everyone to the pan dulce and cakes for dessert! Great prices and great customer service!

  • Michelle King

I am in this store every week shopping. They have great sales on their meat and produce. I don't like the 1 day sales or weekend sales restrictions because then you have to go on crowded days instead of getting everything done on less busier days.

  • xoxo xoxo

Their cakes are old, purchased a 3 leches cake in 3 different occasions and they were all dry, and stale!! Never again, Fiesta is my go to for 3 leches cake now! Oh and btw i buy groceries every Sunday, when i pass by the cakes they always

  • Adriana Rodriguez

My family has given this store TOO many chances and I’m done. We are always getting skipped over in the lines whether that’s in the meat market dept or the cocina dept because we speak English. The women working ignore you and try to act

  • Maria Aguilar

They have a big variety of mexican products and usually lower prices than other stores, they have a mini food court and pretty good bakery, but I have had bad experience with the meat counter products the meat that was sold to me was not

  • Shawnda Diaz

Very clean, nice n helpful employees,... Food is fresh! Freshness has always been a treat for me. I've moved to Sweetwater Tx., n I came back to Dallas for the day...n I wasn't going home with out not stopping here. Nice to see y'all.

  • Jennifer Lopez

Very clean facility, fruits and vegatables are very good arranged. Some staff aren't as friendly. And the clerks don't really know the codes of the items being bought. So please folks stand next to the cashier and screen, watch it!

  • Ashlie Diego

The store itself has a good selection although they were out of cut sugarcane and the lady at the bakery was kind of rude when I asked her if she knew about the sugarcane. So I went to fiesta and bought the rest of the ingredients

  • Austin Martinez

El Rancho is fine but sometimes it doesn't really have much and it is still a good place to grocery shop but I say it's good and they do got good Aguas Frescas and Food so I would go there but they don't really have much there.

  • Brytanni

The cake here is great! I order cakes from here for every occasion. Sometimes you may get someone who doesn't speak much English who takes your order but they will make sure they get it right, I've never had an issue.

  • Ariana Cruz

Lately this store has been very hot when I go. In this Texas summer heat they need to have a good a/c. Very disappointed that it feels so hot when I go. I am at the checkout sweating like if I was outside it’s crazy!

  • Pedro Godinez

Great place been here twice, I accidentally gave it a bad review before, because I thought it was a different location, but so far haven seen any downsides of coming here. Highly recommend this place. …

  • Jorge Zarate

This store provides all your traditional Mexican/Latino food needs. The produce is fresh and the in store restaurant gives a great preview of what delicious foods can be cooked with their products. Big thumbs up!!!

  • Amanda E

Great place to find authentic Mexican ingredients for cooking needs. The produce is fresh always a great price. They have a meat market as well that always have nice sales and great deals. I got meat for tamales.

  • Victoria Meza

Déjà, thank you for being so kind and polite. Your attitude and energy was very mellow and welcoming in spite of the Sunday toil. Even though the store was hot, you maintained sweet and helpful. Thank you!

  • Erick

Always takes forever to pay due to long lines and not all registers open. Cashiers have no sense of urgency. Other than that great store and friendly staff. Policies change daily and depending on manager.

  • Adolfo Sandoval

Not much space to walk around when there's a handful of people and items at the isles are usually more expensive and lower quality than most popular stores such as walmart, sams, costo.etc you name it....

  • Tanya G

Bakery is top notch from the gorgeous cakes at the counter to the super-fresh pan dulce. We drive past other options to get our pan dulce here. Meat counter service is excellent. Cashiers are friendly.

  • Lydia Muniz (YeYa)

Produce is top notch especially when you're cooking ethnic foods. If you go grab an agua fresca. They've got many flavors my favorite is the cucumber water, my daughters love the strawberry one.

  • Lacey Henderson

I had no idea what this place was. Just thought it was a supermarket that sold Mexican food. I was wrong. They have everything. And their meat market is amazing. Everything is reasonably priced.

  • mike damommio

  • jeremy Mizer

Great prices on just about everything, but the butcher area smells like dirty cat littler, not even joking, literal dirty cat litter. I stopped somewhere else for my meat

The store was packed!! Not enough cashiers. However, the place was clean (no funky smells like other Mexican grocery stores. Products were great and at a decent price.

  • Rickety Cricket

Be prepared to wait in line for an hour to check out your groceries. Meanwhile managers stand around and don't even help cashiers who are swamped with customers!

  • Alfredo ibarra

Great stores that always have great savings on specialty meats. And also general food merchandise. Plus offer their own bakery and hot food traditional dishes.
