Me and my father went here on Christmas Eve to purchase some tamales. We went straight to the Delhi area and only stood in line for just a few minutes. It was to my surprise that we were in and out in a record-breaking time considering it was an El Rancho Supermarket, which is usually very time-consuming due to the high traffic and long wait times I received at other locations. It was also very convenient that they were open on Christmas Eve and were available to suit our retail needs that day. As far as the outside it is in not the best neighborhood and we were panhandled by a couple of what seemed to be homeless guys outside. Even whenever we came outside and we're leaving we discovered that there was a few individuals who are getting out of their truck had parked very close to my father's BMW and or even leaning on it at one point before we were walking up.
I used to love coming here for food.. Al the way from the other side of town.. but will never come again.. costumer service was terrible in. The meat section.. I was waiting to get service from the man attending there on Saturday July 15 at around 11:30 am.. when another lady came along and he attended here knowing I was already here waiting.. I mentioned to both of them excuse me I was here first to which he ignored me and continued to talk to the lady... So disrespectful and will not come here again.. do better .. I've heard this happens often but untill it happened to me I posted something about it... 0 stars
It's good to see the community getting together and shopping in harmony, the employees there were quick to help you if you couldn't find what you were looking for and they ask you if you need any assistance, they had hot food counter with varieties of dishes to choose from. Everyone had a smile on their faces, the produce was fresh, meats were perfectly arranged in the cases and even the fish presented well to the eye. Check out was fast also and the manager was available and on the floor answering questions. This is a great store. Go!, get a cultural experience and shop there you'll make new friends I did.
I've been several times to the El Rancho at beach/belknap and it's ok and very congested. But this store here at Long Ave and North Main is Awesome! It's so spacious, there's so much quality foods to choose from, and very good prices. The employees are very nice, and eager to help you. I went to purchase things on my list and bought a few extras. This will be my store from now on. One negative to say and that it is very hot in the store for everyone, and no one complains. *Owner/Manager Please lower the thermostat to a comfortable temperature. Thank you
today I went to buy some meat and it was expired. I brought it home, cooked it and when I ate my first taco I knew something was off. I smelled the meat and tried a few more pieces to make sure my taste buds weren't off. I am not happy right now. If I wake up with food poisoning I will be super pissed. I've never had a problem with El Rancho but come on y'all! That is freaking disgusting. I went back to get my money and the manager asked if I wanted to exchange it for another type of meat and I said NO! Never again am I buying meat from here.
I went in this morning shortly after they opened and I was looking for something in the meat section but couldn’t find it. A woman and a man (both employees) I had asked for help weren’t familiar with the type of meat I was looking for but they still helped me look around. I thought that was very polite of them! Usually employees would say “I don’t know” and go on with their day. But these 2 workers actually walked around the aisle to help me. Unfortunately they didn’t have it but I was very pleased with how much this store has changed.
Worst place to shop at when it comes to customer service! I was in the express line waiting while the cashier said nothing to the 2 ppl in front of me that had over 15 items. I asked him Alejandro Gutierrez why he was allowing ppl with over 20 items when the sign said 15 items or less and he got an attitude with me and ignored me !! Uuumm hellooooo!!! Thanks to ppl that shop there u get a salary and this store remains open!!!
Me and my boyfriend went here on our visit to Ft Worth. It was kind of hard to find what we were looking for. But we didn’t have trouble finding someone to help us. We got some Agua Fresca from the store shop and it was the best I’ve ever had. Brenda was the woman that made us our drinks and she was so sweet. The other stores they had there were cool too. I got 2 Ojo bracelets for $6 from the woman running the shop. We are going back tomorrow.
Want to expand your grocery shopping horizons? El Rancho is a great first start! Their produce varieties are wonderful and they are FRESH! Check out their meats! I've never seen beef with such a deep dark red. You'd swear they butchered 10 seconds before you walked up. The staff is friendly and the store is kept very clean and organized. Knowing Spanish is a definate plus in your shopping experience, but is not necessary. Check them out!
This place is overpriced. I somewhat understand though. The locale. Our part of the Northside has few grocery stores so you pay for convenience. Now they do have a great produce department. Lots of fresh vegetables. I bought green seedless grapes and spent half an hour pulling brown soft grapes off the bunches. I wish they had more spices on their shelves. Kinda limited. Not a bad store though.
This was my go-to grocery store seeing as it was only two blocks away from my home but I went in there 1 day and I'm a white female in a mostly Hispanic store I was the minority in the grocery store so of course I stood out like a sore thumb and I was accused of stealing. They didn't find anything and handcuffed me and paraded me in front of everyone I was humiliated to say the least
Love this store. Great selection, great prices, delicious pan dulce(sweet bread) and tortillas. Their meat counter is awesome! Lines can get pretty long and navigating around the store can be a little cumbersome but it is in no way a deterrent for me. This is one of my regular grocery stops and now that I live further away, I will make the trip for it.
Love their market side. The fresh fruit juices and hit drinks are amazing. You can shop amd have lunch all in one? Yes please lol. Great service too. Was visiting family and found this place when looking for a good grocery store to buy Mexican bread, we did not leave disappointed; in fact we left with lots of juice, the bread, and some delicious tacos.
It's got a bakery, meat market, a restaurant, plus its a supermarket. I feel like they tried to cram a bunch of stuff and ran out of room. It feels cluttered and you can barely maneuver the kart through the aisles. With all that said, the place is always clean and the employees are friendly and willing to help. Oh and the meat prices are really good.
Well this grocery store has just about everything you'll need . And I enjoy coming here because if you want barbacoa and fresh flour tortillas or some kind of meat to cook for dinner or a cook out their here to help with that . The only thing here is there lines are slow to cash out but the cashier's are ready to help with your produce .
Good food already ready. Decent prices compared to most stores on meat. Great in store tortillas. Having said that, & To keep it simple,, more in depth cleaning on all machines. Such as the tortilla press. I would have gone to the store to make the complaint, but,, I've ran into issues trying to be nice before. Different chain of store.
This place has really good Mexican food, love their carnitas , I always buy El cubetazo two pounds carnitas 32oz rice and 32oz charro or refrigerate beans ,salsa tortillas grilled onions and grilled serranos for $19.99 and their flautas are delicious, I like their meals and prices, really good food and customer service... …
Great place to buy your groceries Always have good specials on food Also great place to eat food Their fruit waters are delicious And lets not talk about the corn stand outside of it! I always do my groceries here and have me a little lunch here also Cashiers are always so friendly and make sure you were satisfied with your visit
Food prices weren't that cheap. Great variety of Hispanic cookies and pastries. Frustrated that I really couldn't find a clerk who spoke better English. I am half Hispanic but not Spanish speaking. Some of us who don't look Mexican DO like to buy authentic foods. Please be more accommodating to us English speaking Mexicanas!
Great atmosphere, great selection, great service, Amazing prices! I love this place. Good food and good experjence. Chance to practice my Spanish. And I learned new words too. All in all I live it. Authentic Hispanic supermarket with items found only in hispanic countries. Delicious caldo de res and freshly made tortillas!
They only have a bunch of Mexican food I know it's Mexican store but they don't have any products coming from the Caribbean for Puerto Ricans and Cubans so I don't really like I didn't find none of my products in the store the food is kind of better in Fiesta Store just a little bit because of the meat otherwise is boring
Parking is tight but veggie deals are usually good. Floors sometimes are slippery from fallen food but I've never seen any one fall. It's awkward to get in line because they have display shelves everywhere. Isles are thin with a lot of displays too. There is usually always a employee around if you need to ask a question.
Very disappointed. The girl at the meat market gave me the wrong thing on bottom of my order it was right on the top. But the bottom had different. Very disappointed Will try one more time. Because we have always bought from here and never had a problem. I specifically told the lady too that I wanted a pre-cut not whole
It’s a good store full of well priced produce some aren’t that great quality. Also when we get meat from the carneceria the meat smelt like it had gone bad and it wasn’t even what we asked for this is the second time this has happend the meat there sucks the quality is horrible I go for the produce and snacks only
Use to love this store but since the last 2 years the meat I’ve bought here is rancid & old ‼️ I bought chicken from the counter & inside was greyish looking & stunk up the house & the fajitas (without marinade) I got within the last week tasted horrible like it was old but it didn’t look old at all.
The prices are great but that's the only thing i can say is good about this store. The music in that place is so loud that you can't even think straight and you walk out with a big headache. I would rather shop at another grocery store. It's sad and it's not what i was expecting it too be...
There was only 1 variation of tortillas left and it was going to expire in 24hrs so I kindly asked if I could get a discount and they told me no. Almost all grocery chains offer some form of discount if it expires too soon but this was disappointing considering el rancho is privately owned.
We shop there for produce and meat. The fresh bakery products are excellent. Most prices on other items trend higher. My only complaint is the music. Please turn it down! Customers can't have a conversation due to it. I'm sure the employees would appreciate the music being turned down too.
The food wasn't that great, they charge you for cilantro and onions and tortillas. They don't sale corn tortillas by packages only 4 for 1 dollar it's kind of expensive. Been in La Michoacana and many other places better than this. My comments are referring the food court only.
Was superb till I got out in parking lot and discovered I was charged regular price of menudo instead of sale price. It was 15.00 and some change I received back at customer service. All good now and I will continue to shop here just more cautious about prices at checkout.
Went to buy your special chicken done on the parrillada and it was not cooked well at all, very disappointed and your empanadas were placed on wrong labels I was so excited to buy pan dulce and coming to visit from Pennsylvania but still you make the best pan dulce …
Taxes are higher than bormal along with additional fees. I have to pay extra for their staf to do their job description. Plastic bag fees also. Always smell something spoil in meat department. The bakery is the best smelling section, I could stand there all day.
I can't give a 5 because some stuff I have seen like I've had to check the expiration dates and seen expired food but this is my all time go to store because they are pretty clean I've tried the food and drinks so GOOD and not to mention the prices are good
We had the taco platter and it was good. As for the customer service they need more training. They were little bit slow getting the food to me and my wife. The deli manager he wasn't much help either. They tried to help but they need to work as a team.
Millions of Americans love Mexican food, and if you get the crazy idea that you want to cook Mexican food and you decide to go here to buy Mexican ingredients be prepared to be treated like trash from the costumers and employees if you are not Mexican
I shop there because it is the closest Latino grocery for me. I usually find all the cooking ingredients I need. There is a very hood variety of food items. The downside is the very slow checkout due to few cashiers, but I still like shopping there.
Best place for pan dulce, specially empanadas de camote, fresh meat great prices, licuados freshly made with real fruit, their employees are very helpful and informative.. prepared food is delicious... Awesome place great people, fantastic foods..
I came here for their taqueria & let me just say THE FOOD IS AMAZING I only come for their food the posole is literally the best you can get food items such as tacos , burritos , Mexican soups they even have birria queso tacos literally amazing !!
I went to the store nobody speaks English the woman stood there and ignored me like I wasn't a person it made me so damn mad because she didn't even try to acknowledge me For the most part the store is clean well put together and have good prices
The prices are exactly the same as fiesta. Only difference is Fiesta usually has 4-6 checkout stands working on a busy day so you'll be standing 4 deep in line. El Rancho on a busy day will have 3-4 stands open so your about 6-8 deep in line.
Used to love this place. The food court was delicious and it was a good price. However lately things are ridiculously overpriced. I’m sorry but I feel like your clientele would have a hard time paying .99 lb for calabaza. Even central
The absolute best , most organized grocer I've ever been too. Everything entices you to indulge in it. I want to shake the hand of the person who designed the organization of it all. Job well done. Not to mention, amazing prices!!
I'm from Michigan so to visit texas and see this huge supermercado of delicious food I can only dream of seeing in bulk in Mexico was amazing!!! Appeared clean and friendly. Walmart probably cheaper in price. But shop local!!!
Amazing cooked food in their restaurant and awesome service. I had their quesadilla with chicharrón - BEST CHICHARRÓN EN SALSA ever! Also, I went on an extremely busy day before New Year's and the service everywhere was great!
Always like to shop here when they have a sale on meats. Nice and clean market. Don't know too much about their cafeteria. Their produce is okay, but would rather get it at Walmart. Customer service reps are always nice.
The shrimp gave my family food poison. And the chicken breast was inedible. After I boiled it it was very tough and other parts were chewy like gum. The produce is not the best either. I no longer go there for anything.
The best store I've been in a very long time they have items that's hard to find in other stores.. I absolutely recommend this place to be the best.. but dont just take my word for it, check it out and see for yourself
Great food, tacos and burritos for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And all the fixings. Sadly I don't shop much there, not enough checkers long lines even with the good prices the long lines are a inconvenience at times.
Love Love this store!!! Courteous staff whether you speak English or Spanish!! Awesome bakery, fresh and reasonable fruits and veggies!!! Come hungry, delicious deli and even fresh squeezed fruit and veggie juice!!!!
This is an excellent grocery store. It has just about everything you need or want. Prices are good and the store is clean. Visiting from Kansas City,Missouri... I wish we had one here just like this. Love this store
Rancho always has what I need at good prices but please get more cashiers. I'm always in line behind minimum 3 people wi cart loads and the express line is not open or has people with clearly more than 15-20 items.
It's great, if you're Latino. White/ black customers often get over looked. They do, however, have some of the best meat prices in town. And have a large variety of food that you can't find in every supermarket.
Don't buy the El Rancho brand flour tortillas. They taste pretty bad and don't roll well for tacos or burritos. I was extremely disappointed especially since I went to a Mexican market just for that purpose.
Pretty good food in the food court area and I like going to this El Rancho because its way bigger then some of the others and they have good especials plus it doesn't take aslong as Fiesta to check you out!
It's a good place to shop at & they have lots of great deals but the only thing I don't like is that sometime when it's crowded, I feel a little annoyed but other than that, it's a grate place to shop at
The best cortadillos ever their fluffy and moist with a hint of vanilla taste by the way their in the pan dulce section their like square cake slices with pink or white frosting and colorful sprinkles
Th cashiers have the worst customer service! It's not just this store, the one on beach street is the same way. They need to train them better. Or at least not hire high school kids that don't care.
Great food and produce to choose from. Great customer service. However, when it's time to check out there's lots of people waiting to check out. Only 3 cashier lanes to choose from. Very long wait.
Prices are a little high, especially for the fresh drinks they have that's almost always nothing but ice, but otherwise a decent place to go to get groceries if you dont want to drive to Walmart
I don't like the store setup. I think it needs to be renovated somehow. It feels crowded while you walk, and there's usually long lines. I only go once or twice a month for a quick item or two.
Really nice super market. Meat veggies and essentials usually on sale less than big brand chain stores. Employees are bilingual so nothing to worry about! Check it out, you'll be glad you did
Prices will vary but you get a great selection of meats and produce that when on sale can't be beat. Friendly staff. Lots of Mexican spices and foods you might not be able to find elsewhere.
Super I love everything there fresh and tasty... Nice people chingones en servicio, Lugar clean, also they have food ready para llevar caray! Love it! Mi Rancho Supermecado, Pàpa! …
Good price on meat! American products are very limited. Parents love to take their 8 kids with them, so if you're looking to do groceries in peace n silence this is NOT the place to go.
Great variety of Mexican products, clean & organized. Butchers appeared to be lacking experience/knowledge in the meat department, which makes it difficult to assist the customers.
Lines were extra long, people were not 6 ft distancing, staff was doing great as families were trying to get into two different lines trying to buy multiple items that were limited
The bakery is amazing. I got my 3 year old daughter a birthday cake . Minnie mouse themed. Chocolate and vanilla and trees leches on the bottom. Omg yummy …
Great selection, my wife is from Fort worth and always has to stop in for their fresh tortillas and horchata is her favorite. Over all the store is clean, and has friendly staff.
I bought beef tribe for menudo. It's almost 5.00 a pound. I bought 7lbs and didn't get even half of a pot. They sell it solid frozen, of course it weights more. Total rip off!
Please enforce order with the handicap parking. I counted three cars parked illegally in the handicap section. I was unable to take my disabled grandfather grocery shopping.
After winter storm last week was only store near me that had milk, eggs, & other necessities. Love the selection of produce. And the bakery is amazing. Wonderful nice staff
I like to come here for meat their service is good. They tend to be prompt and quick and everyone is nice most of the time. I always find what I need when I come here.
IDK! I go here to get fresh peppers that's not pricey. You get a lot more! Peppers & limes (& I might grab their bucket of some kind of Tide detergent for 20$+ too).
Fair prices on food, store and parking lot get 'Very crowded and on weekends you have to wait for services and check out. Best time is a week day's for convenience.
Always a good market to go. You can get you a bit to eat, ( food usually really goos ) do some grocery shopping, and do other things as well. Always decent pricing
Nice peopl, nice food but very greasy on some. But they have good baked chicken. And some sweet natural juices too.. Many variety on meats.. Restroom is available.
I buy my meats there when Im cooking Mexican food and do not have time to marinate myself. Good selections at meat counter and staff is always great to work with.
Good prices, great food, and a great Latino aesthetic! This place is everything you need for a Latin grocery store, but damn checking out is a painful adventure…
Good meat pricing and have great sale prices on special items of the week. They sell delicious mexican fruit water and ready to eat food. Great pasteries as well.
The meat was super fatty and cut really bad. It also was super tough. Like the meat was old or something idk. I don’t have these problems at the other locations.
I left my debit card at home by mistake, and the cashier working nest to the one i checked out with, came over and paid for my stuff!! Her kindness is amazing!
The times we have gone here the store is clean and produce has been fresh. Unfortunately the meat department has been low on meat and chicken due to shortages.
I'm really disappointed. Today I went by and got pollo asado, and it was disgusting to find feathers on the chicken. quality on the kitchen it's poor.. …
Great prepared foods and a good meat department. Fajitas are usually a great value and will go on sale for 3.99. However, Prices are not always that great.
Good prices for the most part, but product quality isn't the best, we stooped going after the 3rd time. They do have great fresh waters, cakes and snacks.
Awesome place for meats!!! Fantastic for Hispanic food. Awesome taqaria!!! You guys have GOT to try it at least once. Great homemade tortillas as well.
First time there today and seems they had everything this store had in Cali. Will be my new place to shop for ethnic goods. Pleasant workers too. …
Awesome treasure, and amazing sales! I got 20lbs of chicken legs for $2. My whole grocery bill was half of what I would spend if not less at Walmart.
I like to shop here for produce, but last few trips the fruits and veggies have been old-mushy & soft. Very disappointed. I'm going back to walmart.
You can get hair trimmed, beard trim and leave a tip for less than most salons charge for a haircut. Ear hairs and nose hairs are removed gratis.
I get great deals on the meats, great corn and flour tortillas made fresh at the store. They offer a variety of hot cooked meals to go as well.
Prices are high here compared to Walmart or even Albertsons but for me personally they are larger than food city and only a little bit farther
Need more register open like always.... But employee got mask nd shield they really care about there employee nd customers that's awesome...
They need to have more cashier's. I waited in line at least 20min. Everyone got shopping cart full of food. And Everything else is good.
Cheap prices and amazing deals am there but not many registers open they need more cashiers. The time waiting in line is crazy LONG.
The food there is delicious! And they have great deals on their meat. One of my favorite places to come and eat and buy my meat’s.
Always the best prices and quality meat and produce. Always looks and smells clean. Always find what I need. I love shopping here.
Great selection of cakes they also have the little cakes for when your child turns 1 years old. The price was very affordable.
Always good meat well cut lines suck bt numbers help or getting there before the rush. If you catch the sales they're awesome
Prices for produce are good. Great bakery selection. Meat market is good, especially like their already season meat section.
