I used the 1-day fast track visa service. This involved filling in the online application form, and booking an in-person appointment for the next day to deposit the visa. I was seen on time, the staff were wonderful, and my visa was available 10 minutes after I submitted my passport to the Embassy. A great new service, thank you!

How come you don’t pick up your phone? How are we supposed to communicate with you if you never answer the phone? It’s just shameful. People don’t just live in London to book and turn up at the embassy. We’re busy in our life so using the phone can make a big difference if we need to get the correct information.

Honestly, it’s the worst Embassy I’ve ever seen in my life! The very insolent and rude staff are not helpful at all. There is a lady who works for them, honestly you wonder what her role is! They eat the £25 for nothing… a very very useless service, the ideal would be to close this week!…

The lady on WhatsApp was brilliant and very helpful. The location of the Embassy was not far from King's Cross Station which was good. In 10 minutes we were granted a visa because we filled everything online and the payment (application form).

Very disorganised. There is one very helpful lady who picks up the phone on certain days, that's it. I sent my passport by mail from Norway. Called more or less every days for the next month to hear if it had arrived. They told me every day

a high commissioner or an ambassador needs to come and investigate the lack of professionalism not to mention the appalling service they give. there is no order no real customer service and no compassion. they increase prices on their own

I booked my appointment for 12:40. Drove 300miles to find out the location changed and they only run appointments for passport renewal from 10am to 12pm. What a lot of mess. Fix things up. I paid to get seen at 12;40! Only to see nobody!

I visited the DRC Embassy today for a visa. The lady I dealt with was friendly, professional and very helpful. I have used 5 African embassies/consulates and this was the best. Very quick service and very good overall. Definitely an A*+

I never had a problem acquiring visa. We congolese need to suppport our embassy. To say that staff are not well educated is not true. Ensure that your journey is planned well in advance and you will get your visa without problem.

I was on a tight timeline needing to turn a visa around in two weeks and while the process seemed a little opaque and chaotic there is an Express service and that worked fine to turn around within 5 working days.
